  1. Nigenron.
  2.
  3. When I entered the first undergrond level, painfully bright colours awaited me.
  4. — What is this place…
  5. There’s two equal parts. This is what this place trying to express. Shrine room painted in white in red, and yet it does not have a merry atmosphere: the equality of those two parts is too perfect.
  6. The feeling of a perfect equilibrium in this room is maddening. It is not a place where you can keep your sanity for long, and a person who created it is certainly not normal.
  7. As I walked forward while narrowing my eyes, I noticed a statue on the altar in the center of the room.
  8. What is this, I wondered, while looking closer at it…
  9. — This statue… a woman?
  10. A statue of a women with a tightly closed mouth, in a military clothes, sits there. Despite looking courageous and dignified, I feel like she is somehow ill.
  11. Woman bears the same warlord symbol as Rindou, but there’s no tolerance or affection in her. Frankly speaking, she cannot afford it. The thight expression looks like a mask, and the whole body feels like it might collapse if relaxed a bit.
  12. A normal woman stuck in a high position, desperate and crying inside, with no way to escape.
  13. I wonder is this impression is right.
  14. — No, wait…
  15. By a chance I noticed the carving at the pedestal. It is written with the symbols that I’ve never seen, so I shouldn’t be able to read it, but…
  16. — I understand…
  17. I can read it. I can understant those symbols. Overcome with surprise, I read the inscription.
  18. — For that person, a soul that is good, could not exist without the evil. If you believe yourself to be a good person, you will be always fearfull of being crushed by the fierce war.
  19. — Those who attack me are evil. A wicked ones who should be destroyed. Hence, I am just. I do not have any sin in me, and should not have.
  20. — There is right and wrong in this world. I need an evil to destroy. There are only two kinds of people. Otherwise, I cannot tolerate this war.“
  21. What is this? I understand the meaning, but I do not understand why it’s written here.
  22. For what purpose this inscription is there?
  23. While feeling that I miss something, I kept reading.
  24. — Therefore, this person divined the heavens into the two parts. Good and evil, light and darkness, consuming each other, this symbiotic sky outflowed.
  25. — That era when people created the enormous power known as the Throne, that world exhausted by the endless conflict, gave birth to that pitiful woman who could only live by escaping into the world of dualism.
  26. — This is the whole truth of the original law, the original Throne, the first god.
  27.
  28. Observer.
  29.
  30. From this point, there would be always a contest for the Throne. This is the curse of this god. War would go on for eternity. Because of that first law, there would never be a peace in this universe.
  31. To make sure of that, one man who was with that woman would eternally wander by himself. In the every universe, with the every Throne, in every war, he would always have a central role, being faithfull to that woman. Thus goes on the story of that impotent person.
  32. A unique being, somehow deviated from the law of the Throne. This being we call the Observer. And when this being appears, it is a sign that the Throne era is about to change.
  33. Therefore, I ask you, who read this: find the Observer. Tell him that it needs to be destroyed.
  34. That being we created, should not exist.
  35.
  36. Daten Naraku.
  37.
  38. And so I reached the second underground floor. Everything there is painted with deep crimson. Although there’s a strong sense of unity, it isn’t pleasant for an eye.
  39. This is a very troublesome Heaven. World of deep crimson, full of bare vulgarity of a human nature.
  40. What exactly is the law of this Throne? In the center of the room, there’s a statue of an old man, full of dignity and solemnity.
  41. War hero… those are the first words that come to mind. But along with dignity, this man also possesses a great intelligence, a proof of a ruler.
  42. At the bottom of pedestal, there’s a carving.
  43. — This person was born at the just side of Dualism, completely, perfectly good person, resented the evil he was destroying endlessly.
  44. — Because we are just, we have endless chains binding us. There’s a great number of things we cannot do. Even if it would stop the war for a long time, we cannot make this decision unless it is just.
  45. — Truthfully, the just side from the very beginning was at a disadvantage. In the world under such law, there would always be evil that aims at the hegemony. Always struggling at the edge of defeat keeping the light of justice, this man could not become an invincible sovereign.
  46. — I cannot protect my people. I cannot use my army to a full degree. I, who is just, cannot cleanse the evil.
  47. — The weight of that absurd resentment surpassed the original law that could not exist without the evil.
  48. — My people would become evil that eats evil. Just one beast in your soul is enough.
  49. — Fallen from heaven saint — this new law endowed every human in the world with the original sin. In a sense, this man’s law returned world to how it was before Dualism.
  50. — Every human has an evil in his thoughts. By returning such natural thing, this man for sure could be called great existence. He was probably the most humane of all Throne gods.
  51. — Embrace your sin and fall from heavens. Without having a taste of forbidden fruit, human cannot became human.
  52. — This is the whole truth of the second law, the second Throne, the second god.
  53.
  54. Hisouten.
  55.
  56. Third underground level is the white room. Absolutely pure world, without any sign of uncleanliness.
  57. There’s a metaphor “pure as the driven snow”. But it’s not enough to describe the snow whiteness of this place.
  58. It’s closer to the sea of salt. As white as a snow, but it also has a strong feeling of purification, and an extreme strictness.
  59. What exactly is the law of this Throne? In the middle of the room, there a statue of a man whose appearance reminds of a philosopher.
  60. This one, again, does not have a playful feeling of the First Heaven. Though there’s no feeling of tension from him, I wonder how he is so pure.
  61. Eternally alone, calculating the unintelligible transcendence — this is the impression I have from him.
  62. There’s an inscription carved in the pedestal.
  63. — This person have always yearned for the perfection. Not only in others, but he was also unable to tolerate the sin in himself.
  64. — Shackled by the orginal sin of people bearing the beastly souls, civilization started to decline. Even if it was the part of the cycle of creation and destruction from the second generation law, this person wasn’t able to tolerate it.
  65. — He who found himself at the center of the first transition period, was heartbroken beyond the limit by the act of destruction of the existing civilization.
  66. — Why am I so sinful? The one who created a being such as I, why was he so endlessly foolish?
  67. — With the prayer to wash away the sin, by the lamentation for the salvation, this man repainted the Throne anew. Destroying any sin and crime, he created a perfect paradise without an impurity.
  68. — Out of all Throne generation, only he alone was able to completely erase any evilness of the human soul. This cleanliness, this virtue — it would be correct to say that he was the closest to the universal impression of a God.
  69. — Be pure. Do not sin. Throw away the selfishness.
  70. — But because of that extreme completeness, any signs of a human nature ceased to exist. Completely controlled society, full of mathematical perfection.
  71. — Rational and logical. He never understood the human’s foolishness, and refused to acknowledge it.
  72. — Because of that nature, he never hesitated to throw away the crevices that eventually appeared. If there’s a mistake in my law — then I don’t need it. Such egoistic thing as the sense of responsibility is unneeded here.
  73. — Whole universe working as an electronic mechanism.
  74. — This is the whole truth of the third law, the third Throne, the third god.
  75.
  76. Eigoukaiki.
  77.
  78. Fourth underground level. Everything there is blue. No, it would be better to call it “indigo”. But it does not have a feeling of cleanliness, instead it is something much more deep, like a stagnant atmosphere of the deep sea.
  79. Somehow, it feels suffocating. Or narrow. It’s like I’ve been locked up and there’s no exit anywhere.
  80. No one can go anywhere. It’s as if the world was saying so.
  81. What exactly is the law of this Throne? In the center of the room, there’s a statue of a man, pale and thin as a dead three. Strange obsession radiates from him.
  82. I feel like I’ve seen this face somewhere, but I can’t remember. One thing is certain, this one is a really weird person.
  83. Everyone who reaches the Throne is not a normal person, but this one’s passion stands out even amongst them.
  84. At the bottom of pedestal, there’s a carving.
  85. — This person is a unique existence. Before, the Throne gods have only changed the law of the predecessor, changing good and evil, but he put an end to it.
  86. — Amongst his abilities, there was one that standed out the most — his carving ignored the time axis. His desire, originating from the moment when he experienced extremely strong feeling, swapped the cause and result.
  87. — In other worlds, by perceiving himself as a Throne god, he was there. He was the one who destroyed and rewrote the old Throne system that was composed of only singular time and universe.
  88. — Controlling the past, present, future, and multiple universes, he was the one who acquired the biggest territory of all the past Thrones.
  89. — Frankly speaking, for the third Throne, this man was nothing short of a monster from another time and space.
  90. — His world, born from the cause and the result changing places, was an impossible miracle for the past generations.
  91. — He, who became a Throne god, wandered for many years tortured by the mysterious foreknowledge… Until he met a woman whose embrace he madly desired.
  92. — I want to die by her hand. In that moment, I will achieve the long-awaited unknown.
  93. — His craving was born at this point. And this was a moment that gave birth to his Apoptosis.
  94. — Meaning is ununderstandable. Logic does not work. He who became a god, achieves the godhood at the moment of his death when his Atziluth outflows. Anyone who observes such a process would perceive it as a flawed one.
  95. — And yet, he is the one who made it possible. By extending his grasp over the countless universes and timelines, he have achieved it.
  96. — One of many theories about him is this one: do not question the nature of that unique person. There’s no point in that.
  97. — It was just a trancendence without any great meaning… that’s how he would call it with self-deprecation.
  98. — She is the only one who can kill me. Hence, I resufe. Hence, I won’t acknowledge it. I refuse to die like that.
  99. — This insane love gave birth to the world that always repeats himself in the endless cycle. He repeats the same life over and over until he reaches the ideal ending.
  100. — My beloved Jewel, destroy me. With this hand, please, draw the curtain on this worthless story.
  101. — This whole world is just a scene for her to achieve that final. Everyone is but an actor in my script.
  102. — And so, let us begin the today’s drama.
  103. — This is the whole truth of the fourth law, the fourth Throne, the fourth God.
  104.
  105. Rinnetensei.
  106.
  107. Fifth underground floor. This room is colored in a gentle yellow.
  108. There’s nothing too intence, it feels warm and gentle, a world where everything is cautiously embraced.
  109. What is the law of this Throne? In the center of the room, there’s a statue of a young woman with a lovely smile at her face.
  110. Is this… no, there could not be any mistake, that’s it. For sure, Fifth Heaven enshrined there
  111. There’s a carving at the bottom of the pedestal.
  112. — This person was a godhead changed by a god. Originally she had a Gudou powers, but she was found by the previous Throne and placed into the main role of the comedy play he created.
  113. — Althrough in a way, she was manipulated by the predecessor, she hold no grief or resentment. Because from the very beginning, this being has a body that could never be involved with anyone.
  114. — She was born with a strong curse that decapitated anyone who touched her. And so, she lived forever as a precious jewel that could not be touched by anyone, and because of that, she strongly wished for the chance to be able to touch someone.
  115. — Going through the comedy of the predecessor, where she had the main role, she melted, and changed. After finding a loved person, and things that were dear to her heart, she changed into the perfect Hadou goddess — it was truly a magnificent transformation.
  116. — I want to embrace. I want to envelope. All of creation is precious for me — I want to eternally watch over it.
  117. — At her completion, she was a goddess of kindness. Her ruling was gentle, to the degree never seen before, it’s law being the eternal reincarnation of all life.
  118. — Tragedy would never fully leave this world. However, the previous Thrones have showed that after excluding something completely, some abnormality would always appear.
  119. — And so the goddess embraced. She embraced everything: good and evil, and while tragedy have not disappeared, in the eternal cycle of live, everyone would find a salvation in the end — this is the she loved everything.
  120. — This love could be said to be an embodiment of a motherly love, watching over her childrens. And like there is no child hated by the gentle mother, this goddess acquired a special trait unique to her only.
  121. — What was originally impossible — a coexistence of a multiple Hadou gods, now was possible. In answer to this craving, in the hands of the gentle embrace, no matter how violent some god of war was, he found a tranqulity in her smile and have sheathed his sword.
  122. — Gold, Mercury, and Moment — all equally strong Hadou gods, the have sweared to protect the goddess, and to make her reign unshakable.
  123. — This is the whole truth of the fifth Law, the fifth Throne, the fifth god.
  124. — …
  125. Finishing reading, I do not know what to say. Yeah, after all, that’s her.
  126. — So that’s Yato’s goddess...
  127. Now it’s pretty clear why they have hated us. As far as I can judge, this goddess is perfect. A reign like this worth protecting even with the price of life.
  128. And now, it was repcaled by such thing… Of course no one would acknowledge something like that.
  129. — Yato… you, to what you can even compare something like that?
  130. — Make something that would be as good as Twilight? You’re asking for impossible.
  131. But, we need to do that. We must believe in our dawn, and go forward, and forward again.
  132. That’s what I’ve thought.
  133. — Damn...
  134. Looking at the last line of the inscription, I could not make myself read it aloud, it felt like my guts would rot from that.
  135. It reminded me of that scibbling at the first floor.
  136. Both of those, are completely mad.
  137. “A being called Twilight embracing us now — what a boring universe it is.”
  138.
  139. Dai Yokukai Tengudou.
  140. (The one who’s talking there is not Habaki but Nakanoin, but the narration is still the first person from the Habaki's perspective.)
  141.
  142. The lowest layer I finally arrived at, the place completely covered in black.
  143. There is a saying “black as ink”, but this place is not like that. This is jet-black, as if it was endlessly painted by blood and feces by something insane. Disgusting smell so intence that it almost melts the brain and makes it hard to even walk ahead.
  144. In the middle of the room, on the pedestal where the statue should be, there’s nothing. And yet I know what should be placed there.
  145. He is, right now, sits somewhere…
  146. — This being was born with the third eye. Because his appearence deviated from normal, he was get rid of by his parent, and sold for almost nothing.
  147. The voice coming from the shadow of the pillar, and with a smile he reads the inscription.
  148. — At than time, there was a travelling cult of sokushinbutsu monks. He was given to people who were practicing the ritual meditation to the point of death and self-mummification.
  149. — Of course, it wasn’t by his will. He was just a child, and could not resist, which was convenient to those who have bought him.
  150. — With the unnatural apparence, the way of perceiving the world would also be different. This simple turth was not noticed by anyone.
  151. — He was leaved at the bottom of the hole. And on top of it, the five-storied mausoleum was built. Whithout being touched by anyone, with no way to escape, where the light never reached, he was buried alive in the darkness.
  152. — Days, mounths, years have passed… I don’t know for which god those who’ve bought him yeared, but their intention is understandable.
  153. — Craving for the world outside. Insane lamentation and cursing. Poisoning, as an inugami, repainting the Twilight’s world with the new Hadou.
  154. — I cannot help but call it foolish. Because they have completely misunderstood his nature.
  155. The chuckle became louder. It changes into the laught that shakes the shrine.
  156. — I [Hajun] loved our box of avidya. The complete and perfect universe only belonged to me [Hajun]!
  157. — And that’s why I [Hajun] hate you, who are not me [Hajun]! So I [Hajun] will find you, and I [Hajun] will destroy the whole your universe!
  158. — This the whole truth of the sixth law, the sixth Throne — Hajun of Sixth Heaven!
