Salutations, ladies and gentlemen! I am enthusiastic to enlighten individuals such as yourself of the impending occasion. As you all may know, a fellow confidant and I have conferred, and have come to the conclusion that the event known as "Talk Like A Pirate Day" is inadequate at evaluating our respective vocabularies.

We have cogitated the situation and have emerged with a satisfactory arrangement.  In commemoration of all who wish to exhibit their grandiloquent tongue, a period of time shall be set aside for these walking dictionaries. This shall be known as Talk Like the Sophisticated, Educated Generation with Expanseful(and Pretentious) Vocabulary Day.

The aforementioned bout shall take place for the following durations(we will be using the Gregorian Calendar):
 - The first week of October
 - Only encompassing odd-numbered days
 - Not applicable in leap years
