King Arthur club

So, he travels along, and gets to the town with the dragon, and Arthur decides to fight it with a club. Where’d he get the club from? No idea, but he decides to go for the Hercules style beatdown of it instead of using his magic spear or his magic dagger. He sees the dragon. Now this thing is UGLY. It is 20 feet long with fangs the size of a dresser, a single crimson eye, green scales and breathing fire. And this psychotic mad lad smiles at it and goes "FINALLY! Something with all the smoke I want" and goes to battle it. Now, this battle lasts a full 72 hours and while the Dragon can't hit Arthur....Arthur can't kill it, only hurt it by bashing it with the club. Credit where it's due, the text states he fills it with "mortal pain" but can't seem to capitalize on it.
