15.
16. >R: Hello. This is Ratchet from the Starship Aphelion, and I'm here with my partner and best buddy, Clank.
17. >C: Greetings.
18. >R: And we're using this to act as our personal journal across the universe and beyond. Keeping track on new worlds, new missions, new equipment, all the good stuff.
19. >C: In order to maintain safety, this Journal Log is restricted to everyone without granted authorization. So please do not attempt to gain access unless said permission has been granted.
20. >R: This goes specially for you, Quark.
21.
22. -------------------------------------
23.
24.
25. Nav-unit Features/Information
26. -Maps (as obtained) in and waypoint analysis.
27. -COM system for communication with others. Holographic Video and Audio Feed.
28. -Emergency frequency emitter.
29. -Holo-Armor Activation Drive -- Pilot Suit - Nebulox Armor - Terachnoid Armor
30.
31.
32. Weapons
33. -OmniWrench Millennium 12: >R: My trusty OmniWrench; I never leave the home without it. It's made of Ultra-Light Teratannium and fitted with a hyper grip handle which is great whenever I'm using to wack someone or something or just doing some usual repair. I also modded it with a Kinetic Tether which is useful to move stuff with VersaGears or handles with similar complexity. Pretty much a tool for all situations.
34.
35. [s]-Combuster: >R: Great rapid-fire weapon that shoots hot plasma projectiles at whoever is in front of you. Versatile and with a good ammo capacity. even after all this time it still works pretty good, but sadly the Pyrocidic Precipitator is busted and the Plasma Containment Node may need a replacement soon. I think I'm gonna get me a new blaster weapon next time I get to a GrummelNet Vendor.[/s]
36.
37. -Omniblasters: >R: With my Combuster...well...busted, I was in need for a new sidearm. Luckily the Polaris Defense Force gave these two brand-new Omniblasters. They fire high-velocity proton blasts with great accuracy. Has good rapid-fire, very versatile and great ammo capacity. The best weapon for any situation!
38.
39. -Fusion Grenade: >R: Nothing ruins an enemy's day like a thermonuclear hand grenade. The Fusion Grenade works wonders against big groups of enemies, and the Timed Trigger Constructo Mod that GrummelNet installed lets me detonate them at any time I want.
40.
41. -Negotiator: >C: Rocket-propelled incendiary devices always seem to be a favorite of yours.
42. >R: Heh, yeah. The Negotiator is great, and helps me deal with heavily-armored targets in a flash. A high-powered rocket is shot from straight at the enemy and causes a powerful blast, what's not to like?
43.
44. -Buzz Blades: >R: Can't believe I got this at a sale! The Buzz Blades launch a series of sharpened trillium discs that ricochet off walls or any surface, really. Turns foes into sliced cheese in seconds.
45.
46. -Sonic Eruptor: >C: Not the most...um...subtle weapon in our arsenal.
47. >R: But it sure does the job nicely. and it's a laugh to use.
48. >C: I guess so, hehehehe.
49. >R: The latest in mechanical and biological engineering, the Sonic Eruptor uses this genetically mutated Xenegote to create a powerful sonic blast. Just hold it till its cheeks are full and boom, there goes the entire squad of enemies that were after you.
50.
51. -Suck Cannon: >R: Now here's a classic. This Gadgetron vaccum weapon is one of the few weapons I still have around from the Solanna Galaxy and allows me to suck up any small object around: Crates, debris, small enemies, you name it. And the best part is, once full, I can shoot them back as projectiles. With this the universe is your ammo supply.
52.
53.
54. Personal Equipament
55. -Pilot Suit: >R: Well, this are my usual clothes. Um...not much can I say about them other than they are also connected to my Nav-Unit. They are comfy too, and made of pretty resistant fibers so its not like being completely unprotected when in the line of fire. Still, I have a new armor and the "Holo-activation System" of my Nav-Unit up and running, but still there's always a need for casual clothing.
56. >C: Whatever happened to your Thermaflux Armor anyways?
57. >R: The whole circuitry got destroyed in the laundry. *Sigh* I told the guys it was "Dry-clean Only" but they didn't listen. This is the last time I go to a Vullard Laundromat at the Vela Sector, that's for sure.
58.
59. -Terachnoid Armor: >R: An upgraded version of the standard armor given to Polaris Defense Troopers. It can automatically activate via the Holo-activation system in my Nav-Unit whenever a combat situation arrives. When not in battle the hell and extra plate vanish temporally, reverting it to its basic Nebulox Armor looks. You know, so it doesn't look like you wanna turn people into ashes when you only wanna chat.
60.
61. -Swingshot: >R: Probably one of my most-used gadgets. This thing has a Teratannium hook that latches on targets and generates a holographic versa-chord that allows me to either grapple to certain point or swing to another target. It also includes a Laserscopic targeting system, and auto adjusting strap.
62.
63. -Grind Boots: >R: As the name implies, these boots activate automatically and allow me to grind across surfaces. Of course if there's a grindable surface to begin with.
64.
65. -Gravity Boots: >R: These boots lets me cling to metal or grav-pad surfaces while in zero-gravity environments.
66. >C: Its surprising how often that comes up in our line of work.
67. >R: Sadly it seems there aren't as much chances to use these in these other planets. But still, better safe than sorry.
68.
69. -Hoverboots: >R: These apparently belonged to my father. The boots allow me to just zoom across the battlefield in a matter of minutes thanks to their ion propulsion thrusters as well as allowing me to slow down falls when Clank's Heli-pack is not strong enough or he is not around. The ion coils are a bit rusty but its probably the coolest memento I could have.
70.
71. -O2 Mask: >C: I am glad I do not require oxygen to survive in these environments. I don't think my mouthpiece is made to fit the mask, hehehehe.
72. >R: Whenever I step off into space or I'm swimming underwater, the O2 masks does just what its name says: keeps me on a constant flow of oxygen so I can don't run out of air. I even modify it to activate automatically whenever the situation calls for.
73.
74.
75. Clank -- Hardware/Software Diagnostic (Powers & Functions)
76. -Quantum Actuator: >C: This Quantum Actuator was developed by the Zoni and installed by my friend Sigmund at the Great Clock. It allows me to bend the laws of time & space by creating a negative energy singularity feed that expels any surrounding quantum particles and-
77. >R: Nerd Talk short, it allows him to move and remember against anything that can alter time.
78. >C: Um, yes. Quite useful when it comes to time anomalies and time-stopping spells, or my own time bomb devices.
79.
80. -Time Bomb: >C: Engineered at the Great Clock, these devices allow me to create a Quantum Energy Field around a designated area, slowing down time inside of it for a limited amount of seconds. In order to avoid fractures to the timestream, the Time Bombs are designed with a failsafe that stops two quantum fields to be generated at the same time.
81.
82. -Heli-Pack: >R: This takes me back. You've had that ever since Al installed it back on Kerwan.
83. >C: Indeed. My Heli-Pack mode has helped us along our adventures for quite some time. It allows me to activate auxiliary propellers in other to glide somewhat long distances and descends.
84. >R: The blades are also pretty good as veggie cutters.
85. >C: I'd wish you wouldn't use them for that again, please. *Sigh*, not my most prideful moment.
86. >R: Sorry about that, pal.
87.
88. -Hydro-Pack: >R: That was way back...um...planet Hoven, was it?
89. >C: I believe so. The Hydro-Pack mode allows me and Ratchet to have a faster movement when underwater by the use of aquatic thrusters. It does, however, not have much other uses when on land.
90.
91. -Screen COM System: >C: While Ratchet posses similar functions in his Nav-Unit, I have a remote-controlled multi-touch shrinkable COM screen that allows me operate video and audio feeds, as well as analyze schematics or other types of information.
92.
93.
94. Friends & Allies
95. -Xelha: >R: We met her at the Olympus Coliseum. Very nice girl, she can control magic and stuff. I'm still a bit new with the whole fantasy thing but she did her best to explain it to me. We recently got her back with Kalas after a big chase back on Wonderland. Glad they're happy.
96. >C: Miss Xelha seems like a very kind and thoughful person. We spoken for quite some time in Wonderland and we do have some things in common.
97. >R: Overall not a bad person to hang around with. Even if her boyfriend can be a bit of a grump.
98. >C: Ratchet...
99. >R: She also aided us with the Loki situation at the Land of Dragons. I think she and Talwyn really hit it off. Say Clank. Is just me, or do those two sound awfully familiar?
100. >C: I suppose we can add that up to the list of things you and Kalas like in common, heheheheh...
101. >R: Hey, what's that suppose to mean!?
102.
103. -Kira: >R: Oh what's the point? I'm sure she checked this already.
104. >C: Now Ratchet. *Ahem* Miss Kira is a very advanced AI created by the UNSC. While her personality can be a little difficult to deal with (>R: A little?), she has been a great help to us by providing information about our current situation.
105. >R: I bet you 500 bolts that she's reading this right now.
106. >C: I'm pretty sure miss Kira understands the privacy of these data logs and she would neve-...hmm...*sigh* nevermind.
107. >R: Well, she is now traveling with that Batman. To be honest, that way she has a better chance to find Azumi considering the guy seems to know her. I'm gonna miss the help and extra company, but I am happy to not be hearing driving complains every five seconds...
108.
109. -Spider-Man: >R: Another guy who we met at Radiant Garden; had the power to swing around and cling to walls like...well, a spider. Seems like a blast to hang around with.
110. >C: That strange substance around him does unsettle me a little bit. Goo, he said it was called?
111. >R: Yeah. But he seemed okay with it so it can't be that bad.
112.
113. -Sora: >C: According to Kira's information, he is the protagonist of the games in which these planet mostly revolve around. We encountered him as we were making our way across Radiant Garden.
114. >R: I still think his key weapon was incredibly silly. But yeah, this coming from the guy who hits people with a wrench.
115.
116. -Azumi Ian: >C: A soldier from an organization known as ODST.
117. >R: Seems to not only be military, partner of Kira, but also works with Batman. Quite the resume if you ask me. Picks a little after him on the serious side, but not as much.
118. >C: We recently aided her in constructing a new and improved vessel. She looked quite satisfied.
119.
120. -Mary Delgado: >R: We met her when we found Kira's ship wreckage at the Great Maw. We don't know much about her other than she is from that "Realm of Reality" and that she is some kind of ninja. Which is awesome, but makes her really reserved. I hope she's doing alright, but after seeing what she can do against those Heartless I'm not much worried.
121.
122. -Kalas: >C: Another missing person that we [s]are[/s] were in the lookout for. He and miss Xelha seem to have some history together.
123. >R: I'm pretty sure they're an item. It was really easy to guess with her tone of voice.
124. >C: We recently found him and reunited him with Xelha after a venture into the world known as Wonderland.
125. >R: I feel bad for making fun of him so much. To be honest, we are more alike than I thought. He may be a bit harsh, but he is a good person.
126. >C: He is a valuable ally and a great friend. I hope we can meet him and Xelha again one day.
127. >R: He was a big help with the whole Loki situation. He even managed to chain up a dangerous space criminal and his cronies like a pro! He started rubbing shoulders with Cronk & Zephyr for a bit but it seems the three are now good friends.
128.
129. -Iron Man: >C: Tony Stark, also self-named "Iron Man" when on duty-
130. >R: Or Mr. Moneybags, as I like to call him...
131. >C: *sigh* Anyways, he is a multi-billionaire Philanthropist who turned into a superhero to fight both Terrestrial and Extra-terrestrial attacks. He utilizes an advanced Arc reactor-powered iron suit that allows him to fly among other abilities, all powered by the AI known as JARVIS.
132. >R: I do gotta admit, he sounds like the guy that could throw one heck of a party...
133.
134. -Batman: >R: This guy is just weird to me. Who fights crime dressed as a Bat anyways? Then again so does Quark, and a bunch of other superheroes.
135. >C: His identity is unknown but he seems to be an expert in stealth and martial arts.
136. >R: He also has a belt filled with plenty of gadgets. Overall, he may be mysterious, but he sure knowns what he is doing. Big respects for the guy.
137. >C: I do wonder if we will ever see him again...
138.
139. -T.J. Brackin: He helped us against the Loki situation at the Land of Dragons. Good kid; Pretty crazy powers. Fast health regeneration, increased speed, strength, etc. If it wasn't for him, Clank and I'd be pancakes by now. I gave him my ol' Lancer in good spirits; He seemed like a huge fan.
140.
141. Enemies & Unaffiliated
142. <Name Unknown> (Ignis) : >C: We met this unknown individual inside the Space Paranoids program. Not much is known about him.
143. >R: He was a total creep. Not only was he searching for someone's ship location but also tried to corrupt the system and Kira as well! Luckily, we were able to buy some time for her and Tron to kick him out.
144. >C: Hopefully he will stop his nefarious ways.
145. >R: Sadly, something tells me he is not going to anytime soon...
146.
