  1. The third chapter of the book teaches you the speech of utter chaos. Despite the fact it is an entire language, in fact what feels like several, they feel familiar to you by the time you finish the long chapter. You recognize one of the languages (called The Lost Speech in the tome) as the language telling you of the three great Pit Fiends, allowing you more knowledge.
  2.
  3. Nyarlathotep, King of Chaos: Ruler of the blight lands in the west, Nyarlathotep has long since ended his attacks on humans. Instead, he offers them power in exchange for contracts with him to influence the mortal world.
  4.
  5. Gobogeg, The Depthless Chill, is a demon only in name, and instead resembles a large dragon. He commands armies of kobolds along with his demon horde, and has promised to wipe our humanity since the destruction of all his kin. To this end, he has kept his armies assaulting the elves in an attempt to get to the great cities in the south for many years now.
  6.
  7. Krang, the Deserts Guard, has infused himself with the nature of the world, causing the desert to the south to creep forward. Not only this, but his influence has spread to the lost kingdoms of the south, where echos of his madness seek to help his brother Gobogeg in restoring the god of all dragons back to the world.
  8.
  9. You now speak The Lost Speech, Undercommon, and Infernal. Your madness has increased. You swell with knowledge of things not meant for men, increasing your INT by +2 (this can surpass cap. Your max INT from stat increases can now be 22). However, your paranoia has turned into true terror. When you roll a 1 on any check, you become frightened of a random enemy. At the start of each of your turns, CHA save vs 20 to overcome your fear. Your natural paranoia that those around you doubt your wizard ability has also increased.
