According to academic science, it is possible to define pure evil as bad smell on grounds that there's empirical evidence that the sense of olfaction is first judged by feeling and only after that by another information element.

But a definition of pure evil that's only valid in a subjective context is inferior to a definition that's valid in a broader context.

Since moral value is taboo in the academia, the purest form of evil the academia arguably can identify is bad smell.
