- From MTVM
- The kick luckily caught Alucard right across the face, releasing Derest. He used the oppertunity to get inside another room and round another corner.
- "He can phase through walls!" he told himself but nothing seemed to be working at the moment. Come on! Think, think!
- Then he got it. A smirk grew on his face. It was a million to one shot but hey, didn't those always work in the movies?
- He took three deep breaths and then heard Alucard's voice again.
- "I can tell the character of a man by the sound of his heartbeat. Usually when I approach... I can almost dance to the beat. Strange that yours has now become so steady."
- Derest turned the corner and faced the vampire in front of him.
- "Ahh, fighting in the face of death? A lot like your brother Derest."
- "Shut up. You can never talk about my brother. He was more a man than you could ever be. You talk how you can never be immortal, yet a memory can last forever."
- "Is this why you fight, for a memory?"
- "Not just that. The force that drives me is probably my friends too. I'm not sure, I never did watch that Saturday morning cartoon bullcrap. But still, I know something that you don't."
- "Oh? Enlighten me Derest."
- "I actually have a heart to give a damn about the people I meet. And hell, look at you. you actually gave it up. Idiot."
- Derest pointed his hand directly at his foot.
- "Blasta!"
- The orb rocketed down into the floor and ripped through it, dropping Derest through. Alucard phased after him but didn't expect Derest to come right at him. He blocked a few katar strike and then threw Derest over his shoulder. The Jackal was brought out and fired. The resulting explosion blew Derest into the corridor opposite. Slowly getting up, Derest looked and saw a gun barrel pointed at his head.
- "Well, that was faster than I expected. Poor show Derest."
- Derest however grinned. Perfect.
- "One last question Alucard before I go. What's the capital of Thailand?"
- Alucard looked a little confused but answered anyway.
- "Bangkok."
- "CORRECT!" With that Derest punched directly into Alucard's unmentionables, causing the vampire to double over. Derest hopped up and punched at Alucard's face. Left. Right. Back fist. Side Fist. Left. UPPERCUT.
- Alucard went flying out of the window in the corridor. Derest followed him. Kicking Alucard's head down made Alucard completely upside down. Derest then wrapped his legs round Alucard's head and his arms around Alucard's torso.
- Then they plummeted.
- The air screamed around Derest's ears as they fell. He had never thought of actually getting Alucard out the window but hey, whatever works. Alucard strained against the throw but Derest held on tight until...
- BOOM!
- CMoH
- From 0DL in Twilight Town, that whole bit where Derest nearly broke down mentally and let all his insecurities out in one massive flood, then having all of his friends turn up one by one to offer their reassurances. Really made me crack a warm smile.
- Another one would be another Derest doubting moment in the same topic, Nxis finally stopping the stoic hard ass routine, just to give Derest a manly one armed hug before firmly closing his shell again.

- From 0DL again, the bandanna chase sequence. Enough said.
- Also from One Ring to Rule Them All in Other Worlds:
- Derest then looked up to the top of the valley that they had camped in for that night. Hmm, something was odd about that cliff top. But thanks to the sleep-induced mood Derest was in, he couldn't quite place it...
- Alucard sighed. Did sleep really affect men so much?
- Master, what do you suppose the top of that cliff looks like?
- Well, it looks like a cavalry of Living Bone Heartless but it's clearly the rocks just arranged in that pattern to give the illusion of actual living Heartless. Squint a bit and they look like a crocodile's jaw.
- No, they still look like a charge of Living Bones. Look, they're almost ready.
- Nah, your eyesight must be failing. It's just the rocks and boulders and that stuff causing that effect.
- A roar sounded as the Living Bones stampeded over the hill and came into full view.
- Tell me Master, in the state of pure enquiry, what effect gives the impression of several Living Bones charging towards us.
- I think it's caused by several Living Bones charging towards us
- The message finally hit Derest's head.

- CMoA: Epic-Pyro vs Kaztos
- Pretty much the entire fight between the two since we see a serious Pyro in a fight for once. But a really CMoA in that fight was the end.
- "I don't know about you, Pyro," Kaztos growled, "but I've had a bit much of these games. May the Eternal Ocean pull the light out of you. RYU NO UMI!!" At that, the dragon roared and sent the wave of water at Pyro.
- Pyro stared up at the wave, not moving but no one could see that the pyromaniac was smirking. Pyro still didn't move when the wave struck.
- Kaztos grinned wider as the wave moved closer. Then the winged man laughed out loud as the very large wave stuck the fire user. After the attack finished and Kaztos didn't see Pyro, he turned back to Patricia with a huge smirk on his face.
- "There, it's over now," Kaztos said, "he won't be bothering us anymore."
- "Jet..." A voice shouted from above Kaztos. Pyro had teleported at the last second into a perfect position for a final attack. "GATLING!" Pyro fired fire bullet after fre bullet down at Kaztos.
- Kaztos heard the first word but only had enough time to get a cold feeling in his gut when he was suddenly knocked forward and slammed into the ground. Kaztos growled in the back but he couldn't do anything besides breath shallowly.

- CMoH: Empty Carols
- "Most people would." The Nobody said, then hesitated. "If you want, I can give you a hug. I'm not very good at this sort of thing."
- Audrey looked up at Nxis, surprised by his offer. Usually, she was more used to Sorin hugging her for comfort, but in this case...
- "I...guess you could..." she said after a minute of silence. "Though, it...probably won't feel the same..."
- "Yeah, I only have one arm and I'm covered with fur; that's a given." Nxis said, then moved over to the raven girl and wrapped his one arm around her in as warm a hug as he could manage.
- Audrey slowly complied, burying her face into Nxis' chest. His fur just felt so soft to rest in. Slowly, she moved her own arms around the Absol to return the hug.
- And the rest after that. It was just so sweet...

- Patricia continued to hide her face in her hands, the tears running freely now. "Why *Sob Sob* not!" She said around her cries. "I haven't done anything good; I tried to kill people. I deserve pain!!"
- Pyro grabbed the girl in another hug and said "But you didn't. And there are other ways to redem yourself than taking other people's pain."
- Patricia finally stopped trying to get away and hugged back at last. She cried into the boy's neck as her arms gripped the boy tightly, as though she was afraid he would suddenly vanish from her world. "How can anyone be so nice?!"
- "It's just the way I am." Pyro said smiling slightly. "There are a lot of people like me here. You may have met a lot of bad people but here he goo out weights the bad."

- CMOA (For both Shiro and Sin, according to me.)
- Shiro was sitting on the beach, a glazed look on his eyes as he looked at the blue sea and threw some stones at it, which bounced out multiple times before it fell into the sea. Shiro sighed as he remembered that a beach was the last place that his real parents took him to before they were killed.
- Sin sat amongst the branches of one of the thicker trees; in his quest for a little peace and quiet, he'd resorted to coming to the one world that was almost Hell on earth for him and his species. Still, so far, even though Shiro's scent played on the wind things had been quiet; something Sin had given up ever experiancing when he was on the same world as the boy.
- Shiro noticed Sin but stayed quiet as he continued looking at the sea, before turning at the tree that houses Sin's aura, "You can come down now,Sin " Shiro said in a tone that was very calm compared to his usually happy tone.
- The absol sighed as he allowed gravity to overcome him for a moment, tumbling off the branch but landing with barely a sound on the ground below. "Alright, spill." The anthro said in his gruff voice. "What's bugging you?"
- "My past," Shiro said glumly as he looked at the Anthro Absol with a piercing gaze.
- "Your wrong..." Shiro said as he looked at the sea once again. "After my parents were murdered, I stole for a living, no one didn't care for me! Even when I'm accepted at an orphan, people strayed away from me just because I killed a murderer!" Shiro yelled at Sin
- "Oh cry me a river; then build a f#@!ing bridge so you can get over it!" Sin shouted back. "Life sucks; deal with it! At least you have people who would give a flying f$@# if you curled up and died!"
- Shiro just stayed silent as he heard what Sin said, he then replied with an outburst,"Ah F*** it! what do you know about me! Huh?! You're also just an emo bastard who shies away other people except for some others!"
- Clearly Shiro is not in the normal mood today as he approached a tree in kicked it so hard that a bang was heard and the tree swayed dangerously to the side.
- "My foster parents even though they are rich ignored me as if I doesn't exist for the hell of it! All friends I had talked behind my back, even my best friend from over sea! All they care about is my parents fortune!" Shir continued to rant as he paced around with an angry face.
- "Yeah, I stay away for people" Sin shouted back, really pissed at the boy. "For good reason too; I'm not a good person, never have been never will be. So go head and cry, even fake friends are better than being f$@#ing invisible!"
- Shiro just looked at Sin with a glare that could silence even a raging Rampardos and Tauros,"If you're not a good person, then I don't know who are you!" Shiro yelled at Sin, angry at the Anthro Absol.
- "I'M A F#!$ING MONSTER, DUMBASS, OPEN YOUR F#!$ING EYES!" Sin bellowed back at the boy. "AT LEAST YOU HAVE A HOME TO GO BACK TO!"
- "I DON"T HAVE A HOME TO GO TO F#!$TARD! I'm abandoned by 5 darn F#!$ing FAMILIES BECAUSE I KILL PEOPLE FOR A LIVING DUMBASS!" Shiro shouted back at Sin.
- Sin snarled and backhanded the boy. "DO YOU EVEN LISTEN TO YOURSELF!?" The absol hollared at the boy. "GOOD THING YOUR GODDAMN PARENTS ARE DEAD, SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO SEE WHAT A SORRY PIECE OF $#!^ THEIR SON TURNED OUT TO BE!"
- "WELL YOU ALSO NEED TO LISTEN TO YOURSELF!!!! IF YOU ARE A DAMN F#!$ING MONSTER! WHY ARE THERE PEOPLE THAT AREN'T AFRAID OF YOU!?" Shiro said as he punched Sin back.
- Sin reeled from the strike, holding his nose; hr looked at Shiro with rage filled eyes, that did it! "I'LL SHOW YOU HOW I'M A F#%#ING MONSTER!!!!!" He shouted; then lept at Shiro with a snarl, his claws slashing at the boy.

- CMoA: Epic
- Patricia gasped when the flames burst out of nowhere; she was used to water from her travels with Kaztos, but not to fire. Still, she was relieved when almost all the creatures, whatever they were, were evaporated. A quick stab to the head to finish off one, another she slashed across the eyes and stuck in the chest with her other spike. Turning around, she stabbed two more between their eyes and finally threw both her spikes at the final one.
- She panted slightly, not used to exerting herself like that, but smiled slightly; she had survived, and not backed down for once. She turned to the boy and walked forward to makes sure he was okay; until she was struck from behind by something, or rather several small somethings that were hard and solid. She staggered forward, ending up face down in the concrete as she grunted and turned her head to see what was happening.
- It was floating, whatever it was, with red cubes surrounding it grayish-white, human figure. The arms were seeming to be joined together, forming a monk-like image to the thing. Though, it didn't stick; as, not five seconds after she finally spotted it, Patricia found herself on the receiving end of blow from the cubes. She yelped in pain as her skin was broken; and, for a moment, she considered running at full tilt once more. Then she turned her gaze to that boy; the one that had helped her even though he was clearly weak from all the fighting, if he didn't give into that then she couldn't give into some slight wounds.
- She stood and glared at the thing, her spikes held in their usual manner as she bent her knees and leaned forward slightly. "Okay;" She said, clenching her spikes. "I don't even know what you are, and I don't care. You wanted someone to fight, I'm right here!" She thrust her right spike forward even as she sprang at the creature. The weapon impaled itself in the thing's head, but barley seemed to register with it beyond a slight recoil before the cubes reformed into a wall around the thing that blocked Patricia's follow up stab.
- They were thrown out again a few seconds later, but the Visionary mercifully managed to dodge this time-thanks more to luck than skill. She dashed forward and jumped, stabbing her left hand spike into creature about mid way to pull herself up higher and get a good grip on the spike in the thing's head.
- She didn't know what happened after that; all she knew was that, in the instant she grabbed the spike, something surfaced just out of reach in her mind. It was almost like someone was whispering to her, telling her how to react to her position and surroundings. It wasn't something that she really understood, or even acknowledged, she just went with it.
- She brought her feet up and kicked off the thing, taking her spikes with her as she somehow managed to flip herself a full one hundred and eighty degrees and end up planting her feet on one of the cubes that the creature controlled. She pushed off once more, her jumping ability seeming to have been enhanced slightly by following the semi-understood hints as she passed by the creature; she even managing to land a pair of slashes on it as she went.
- She reoriented in midair once more, and pushed off a second cube. She passed by once more; again, she slashed at the creature once more. A third flip, and a thought of How did I get this athletic?, later; she pushed of yet another cube. This time, however, she didn't pass by. She stabbed her left hand spike into the chest of the creature, halting her movement in the forward direction but spinning her around the thing and adding momentum to her next attack: Jamming her right hand spike into the back of the creature's head.
- The cubes shattered, the pieces evaporating before they hit the ground, and the monster gave a painful, shrieking death rattle-the first sound she had heard it make the entire time-before it literally vanished from under her.
- Patricia landed somewhat awkwardly, having not expected that, but she managed to stay upright and on her feet; and she was grinning like crazy now. "I don't know what just happened." She said to no one as she heavily panted from the exertion. "But that was awesome!!!"

- CMoA: Nxis to D. Kazuya
- "Oh; SHUT UP!!!"
- The words were screamed at Darksol as much as at Kazuya; and, oddly enough, Nxis was the one saying them. "Do you honestly think that we care what Derest's inner most secrets are? Do you think we care that you're all the video game equivalent of Gods? Do you think any of us will stop fighting if one gets knocked down?!" He thrust his hand at the devil, throwing the bladed off his claws and at him. "Well, dumbass, I've got news for you; we DON'T! So shut up, stop laughing, and get it through that thick, purple skull of yours: We don't quit, we don't give up, and we NEVER! BACK! DOWN!!! Shiro, Kyn, you ready to kick this guy's ass into next week or am I going to have to do it myself?"

- Pyro: "Will follow me so I can give you the standard older brother threats."

- CMoA & CMoF: Revived Flame
- Pyro gains a new form and the only way to transform into it, is to dance with Pat and Flare.
- Patricia took a deep breath as she tried desperately tried to calm her frazzled nerves so that she could do this dance. Though, at the moment, she could barely concentrate enough to tell you how to do the hokey-pokey.
- Then, something flickered in the back of her mind; a dance that was often associated with the element of fire, with burning passion that could flow between two human beings. And, with a little work and improvisation, the passion that could flow three human beings.
- I can't believe that I'm about to do this.
- The Visionary moved quickly, grabbing Pyro's hand before Flare could start. She liked the Fire Trainer, but she wasn't entirely confident in her ability to pick a fitting dance. Standing with her arms out at her sides, with her boyfriend's hand held tightly in one of them. "Sorry about this." She murmured quietly. "But this isn't going to be as easy as people make it look." She spun into the pyromancer, dipping down and wrapping an arm around the back of his neck for support.
- Pyro almost dropped her, not expecting the dip, but managed to get an arm behind her so that she didn't slip. She rose up once more, but he felt her switch hands behind his back and start to dip down again; but he was ready this time and the catch was much more smooth, as was the righting process. The pair the lowered their right arms to their partner's waist and began to spin around each other counter clockwise.
- They completed about two revolutions about one another before Patricia detached and Flare came into the picture. With the pyromancer wrapping his left arm around her waist, and she doing the same, they started to spin counter clockwise. They separated after a few rotations and Flare mocked pulling away from Pyro, who pulled her back with one hand. The fire trainer spun back into her boyfriend's arms as they revolved around one another yet again. Holding his arm over his first girlfriend's head, Pyro allowed Flare to spin several time around by herself before they embraced one another tightly and quite a bit sensually. Flare pulled away, her arms raising up in part of the dance while Pyro pulled back in false shock. Pyro then mimicked her and she shrank down like she had been struck. Both of them rose up; with Flare holding one hand up over her hand while the other was wrapped around her waist.
- The pair spun around one another yet again, making just one revolution before the fire trainer pulled away and the pyormancer held onto her with one hand. Flare's opposite hand reached out and grabbed Patricia and pulled her into the dance yet again. The Visionary spun passed her girlfriend, her hand clasping Pyro's as the boy pulled both his ladies close to him with the arms held above their heads to let them get closer. The girls pulled away with their free arms flared out and a light dip to compensate for only having one connection to Pyro instead of the usual two. The pyromancer pulled them back yet again, before they pulled away with a spin and Pyro closed the distance to embrace them closely yet again.
- Flames were beginning to form around the dancing trio, but they seemed to be so enthralled with the dance that they were beyond noticing. Spinning opposite each other, the girls went back to their pulling away to be pulled back by Pyro each time. The flames were almost solid around them now, slowly closing in on them with each second. The girls spun out and it slightly opposing directions and Pyro went to Flare first, embracing her from behind. The fire trainer mocked trying to pull away to the left, then the right; then Pyro let go and Flare spun away while Patricia spun in, the two females passing within inches of each other as their spinning synced up.
- The Visionary ended up facing Pyro when the came together and dipped down slightly in a way reminiscent of the beginning of the dance, though this was only twice before Patricia spun away as Flare came back in. Gripping arms with Pyro, the trainer dipped down lowly and slid partially under the boy; he pulled her back up while Pat spun a few times around to get behind him. As one; both girls embraced their shared boyfriend, Flare from the front and Pat from behind, and the flames converged on the trio with a last flare of energy.

- Auto-Revive!
- I've decided to put up the CMoAs for The War of Heaven and Hell. Here they are, organized by Chapter and Character.
- Chapter 3: Grace (also a CMoF)
- Quote:
- "Why must you continue to oppose us? We will be victorious. The more you fight, the more you lose. I am certain that our leaders would be more than willing to allow your survival if you would only accept the inevitable." The man paused in his rant temporarily, unfolding his arms. "Look around you," he continued, waving his left arm to the collapsing buildings, the flames. "We will not do more harm if you would just join us. These worlds need order, judgment." He looked to the hand in the air, watching as it began to crackle with azure electricity, warts forming on the shown part of his arm. "We have such power. Power of the sky," the ElectroBolt Plasmid was replaced by a fist that was blue with cold, icy spikes coming from the back of it, "the freezing cold," the Winter Blast again changed, the ice melting instantly as the hand blistered from an internal heat that reddened it, a small blue flame forming between his thumb and middle finger that readied a snap, "and the hearth." The Incinerate! Plasmid deactivated, the hand returning to normal as he turned his back on them in his reverie. "And so many more. Thunder, pure rage, devotion. And those are only the gifts of Rapture. If you would only join us, or send us your leaders such as the aid of the Assassins, we would be happy to allo--" The Templar lieutenant was cut off suddenly by a sharp pain from behind him, accompanied by a *shink*.
- A dagger was buried in the back of his armor, having cut through quite easily. Sora watched in surprise as Brier staggered forward, then fell, half-conscious. The weapon ejected itself from the Omega fighter, soaring back toward its owner. Somnio and Hawk stared at the person as she caught the weapon, along with all others in the area.
- Grace looked at them all in silence for a moment. Then she spoke. "What?"

- Chapter 4: Ephiram
- Quote:
- Ephraim was last. He stepped to the yet-to-be covered grave. "I... Ah... Oh, nevermind. I can mourn later." He turned to the others. "Why the heck are we holding back? Why in the world can they do this to us without penalty? Why aren't we going all-out on them!? We should be using everything we have, every little trick up our sleeves! To hell with the rules - they've killed off a true hero. We need to put our heads together and figure something out. We can do it. We're the best. Do any of you understand that? We're the best. There's no one else to turn to but us. But we need to work together. So we need to stop wasting time, right?"
- The hero of seven adventures started to move away...but stopped. "There's a lot of double agendas going around amongst the future selves... but believe me when I say that you can count on me. I'll use up every ounce of magic in my body before I let another one die." Again, he started to move away. "And I don't care what anybody says. I'm gonna assassinate Reaper with a Chronos Break at the first opportunity. Screw him."
- As an added bonus, written by our admin himself, only slightly adapted by me.

- Chapter 5: Lee (Posthumous)
- The entire act of giving the coding to reprogram the Geth to the heroes, getting back at Elena after he died.

- Chapter 6: Isaac
- Quote:
- Finally, a black tentacle brought up the first item. A white mask, decorated with many red crosses. This was not just a mask, a conduit for Dark Will corruption, though Reaper had modified it for that purpose when corrupting Demi.
- "The Jack of Blades," the Aselian boy greeted his fellow demon.
- "So, you would use my power?" This being, this creature of the Void, was only interested in power, exercising it and taking it. Likely why he controlled the Bargate Prison on the side.
- "You may be of the Court, but I'm not interested in your power. Where are we? Do you know?"
- The demonic soul knew. "Archon's Folly. Before you act, please consider what I can offer." There was a pause. "You wish to save your friends, your family, your female?" Apparently Reaper had told this trapped soul much. "All you must do is don this mask. My army of Minions will come to your aid--"
- Isaac cut him off, holding the mask up to him, face to face. "No. Yours. You kill, corrupt, possess, and it always ends the same. William Black failed to kill you. That was his true folly, right? Yeah, I know what you do. Reliable sources told me. You can join your Queen and Knight, in any case. Take some comfort in that."
- "But my power--"
- "I've worked with power for too long. Power over a half goddess and her heavenly father. Power over my brother. Power, power, power. You know what, Jack?" He raised the mask-gripping hand.
- "I'm sick of power. I don't need it."
- And he threw the mask as hard as he could, watching it fall to the magma below. The Jack of Blades was dead at last.
- Next, the boy turned back to the Gateway. He again concentrated. This next object was a silver and gold orb. Taken from the world of Assassin's Creed--was it still called the Holy Land?--was one of several Apples of Eden. A device for mass hypnosis. Mind control. The Jack was the failsafe and way to turn one evil without disturbing the person's skills. This was for the non-fighters. The technicians and such.
- Isaac closed his eyes as he gripped it. Dolor had warned against staring into it, or it would be incredibly difficult to purposefully destroy. Such power could have a large impact on the wielder. It was very hard to find the will, even with his knowledge of its purpose. This could help so much. Just use it against Omega, and everyone would fall into line.
- But at what cost? Isaac was not ready to compromise his morals to win... With difficulty, he let it drop, hearing the splash in the magma below.

- Chapter 7: Shooter, Somnio, and Grace
- Quote:
- The group came to the exit to the Alley to Between when the buzzing changed to shouts. Aliens and humans were coming, having seen the firewalls upon making the trans-world pathway and knowing they were in no way naturally there.
- "We can't make it into the world safely with them at our backs," Axel noted, knowing that many were probably pouring into the artificial town. "Funny, I was going to die here anyway."
- Then, a single figure stepped before the rest. Shooter drew his submachine gun, knowing he needed rapid fire capabilities, and stared at the portal to the town.
- Grace and Somnio stood at his sides. "You're not doing this alone," the former told the mute gunslinger.
- Angel stepped forward, but Tom's future stared at him. "Tom's you c--"
- "We can hold them off. Don't waste your life. Just do me a favor. Kick their a**es."
- "You can he--"
- "GO NOW!"
- Isaac and Greg had to drag Hawk's future into the portal to The World That Never Was as all else ran in. The Cruxis angel spoke to Grace.
- "Give 'em hell."
- Just a nod, a hint of a smile. Then they were gone as the first Splicers came through.

- Jack Skellington was glaring sharply at the obese woman. What she just said had angered him. What kind of leader was she to demand things like that?
- "So that's it, then?" Jack asked, gesturing his hand to the Queen. "You're declaring me and my friends guilty for a little reason such as that? Because 'you say so'? Is that really how this world runs? What kind of a queen are you to go by that kind of logic?" He then paused, thinking over his words. "No...I'm wrong!" The Pumpkin King looked back at the Queen and pointed his bony finger at her. "You're not a queen! You're just a fat, pompous, bad-tempered, old tyrant! Someone as corrupt as you doesn't even deserve to be called a queen!"
- Silence reigned in the court room. Jack let his words strike in, not holding back once. Granted, what he called the queen was the same thing Alice called her, but he didn't need any size-changing mushrooms to say that. The Queen of Hearts stared at the skeleton man in shock. Then, her anger returned, her face red in fluster.
- "YOU! HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!!???" She then pointed her cane at Jack and bellowed: "OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!!!"
- The card guards took in the order and began to near the trio, all focused on Jack. Of course, before they could reach them, Jack backed up a bit and tilted his skull.
- "Off with my head?" he asked, a rather...evil smirk forming. "You mean like this?"
- And with that, he reached his hands up and, with a 'pop', pulled his head RIGHT off of his neck. The card guards, Queen of Hearts, and even the White Rabbit all froze at this. Their eyes widened and their jaws went slack. Jack smiled as he held his skull to the side and quoted the familiar quote of:

- Aug 6, 2010, 10:49pm, gregzilla wrote:
- "Ain't been all that great to me," the counterpart told the Seraph, in no mood to chat with most of them, though he spoke anyway.
- To Hawk, he said, "Listen, I never saw you in reality. Unless you mean future me, in which case...whatever. You think I put that in here? No way. That's been stuck for years. Not my fault. You think I like any of that? The only part I wanted you all to see was the Abomination of Dirge."
- Then to Akyra. "What am I here for? Well, I'm here because 'that idiot,'" he used Hawk's words, again pointing to his host, "had a make out session with his then-new girlfriend in the Mana Tree Yggdrasil. I have every right to be in my own host's mind. Idiot. You saw me locked in here."
- Last, Luna. "I did nothing but give an open invitation to come and join me here to hear what I have to say, to see that thing festering in here for years."
- Two sections of his heart, and Greg still had not learned anything. Not why he would have his tooth broken by a stomping foot, nothing. He was understandably irritated with Lukgar. "So, what's the deal, Revak? You might not have created those things but you did call us in here. Why? You haven't spoken to me in years."
- The millennia old counterpart took a deep breath. "Okay, you wanna know, then? Because if you do, I will not tolerate any interruptions."
- "Shoot."
- Lukgar Revak stomped toward his host, and glared, his orange eyes boring into those sky blue ones. "You. Are. An. A**hole." He started to walk away, toward the Key Crest representation. "You want to know why I won't talk to you? I give up! You never learn. Never!" He threw his hands up, and turned back, glaring again. "Every single world you go to, you don't help, you don't save people! You kill them! You try all you might, but you don't make a difference, don't do anything legitimately positive for anyone! Let's take just a few examples, shall we?
- "Albion, the world of Fable. You followed that last Archon across the world and up the Spire back in that time, shouted for him to stop before he made his wish. What did it get you?" The counterpart pointed at the Station floor, at the blue scars that were visible. "A load of Will energy to the back and horrible blue glowing scars. Great job, you total moron!"
- The young man tried to cut in. "Now you lis--"
- "I am not finished!" And he went on once more. "South Ashfield, in the world of one of the Silent Hill games, number four by the sounds of things. Your solution for Walter Sullivan's rampage? Running in, guns blazing! He can't be killed by your weapons! You aren't a savior, even if you did keep him away from Townshend and Galvin for a little while. You're suicidal! Oh, wait, we knew that all ready! All you got were a few more bullet wounds for your trouble, and had to run away from him for a few hours when he got other weapons!"
- "Fairport, the universe of First Encounter Assault Recon. Wasn't that nice? You ran in to follow Harlan, but that did nothing to help, just got him melting all over! The Point Man didn't need your help, and you just got your burns and nightmares for years after, and lost your spellbook. Oh, and now she's curious about our kind, Interferences. You really know how to screw up a situation, hero! Thanks!
- "Mercer's Manhattan Island, [PROTOTYPE]. You couldn't find a flatly good side of the conflict, so you just threw it all to chance, decided to go with the sanest option after you hacked BlackWatch command to get info. The US Marines under Colonel Ian Taggart. You went with them, watched BLACKLIGHT eat people to learn about it and Mercer. Helped him take out that REDLIGHT infested woman, MOTHER. Well, I'll give you one thing. She was psychotic. But he was just as bad! You tried to help Taggart escape with his life, and what did that get you? BLACKLIGHT can track you, probably knows your name. It gains memories from who it eats, and he wouldn't budge, so it probably knows your name and wants you dead for your involvement! You can't hide behind an alias now, and it all ready is suspicious. Congrats! That virus probably is heading back to the base you all are in right now!
- "The USG Ishimura, one of those Dead Space games, probably a prequel. You shot the guy. Congratulations. But that didn't help at all! You spent all that time arguing with McNeill and Weller about everything, especially with McNeill after some time away from Murdoch. And where did that little venture get you? Oh, right! That incident with the Spider! I'm sure that came back to bite them in the a**!
- "Rapture, back with Jack again. Wasn't that nice, a good little trip together, like old times? No, it wasn't, was it? You just showed 'Atlas' even more for him to use as a business tycoon by yelling at him in the Heights! I mean, seriously, you don't think at all about how you talk!
- "The Omega 4 mass relay, the Milky Way, the Mass Effect universe. You don't think you would survive a trip through by virtue of your experience alone did you? Good thing Kira refused to let you go, or you wouldn't ever get to have your oh-so-heroic death!
- "And then there's here, the Halo universe two decades in the past. Name one thing you've done that's selfless, one thing that wasn't for you."
- Finally, a word in. "Saving that Adam kid in Arc--"
- "BULLSH**!" Lukgar was even more furious. "You haven't done one thing, not even one, that wasn't for yourself, your 'redemption' in the eyes of her. And about being in a relationship? I don't care if you ever did again. Do whatever together. I'm over four thousand years old, and I'm more capable of growing up than you! How pathetic is that? About your pathetic excuse. That kid? Cutter sent in a Hornet to cover for his run to the escapees. And about your time as a corporal: you don't have nearly as much power as you act like you do. Admit it! You order everyone around, make your vague threats and torture a few Innies, and act like you're in charge! LC Azumi, you boss her around, but she doesn't say anything because she's in your squad. What next? You order around the captain? Oh, wait, that's right: you did! More than once! You don't have much power at all, but bully your way into getting what you want. That's beyond pathetic!
- "And all of that, all of it, I might have dealt with for a little while longer. But then there comes Dirge. That thing followed you out. You were too caught up in your romance to notice how you dealt with that thing. I've handled my own beast, the Minion of Suffering, recently, using my better method. The right method. You never beat your envy, your green eyed monster. Mason and Usagi, they rejected their sins, didn't just use brute force and tricks. Did you? You were different about how you dealt with it. Never won. It's been inside, making is way into your life at every opportunity. Your anger, born of jealousy for what others had. Killing Isaac? Accentuated fear of losing Usagi to him again. Dolor? Well, very appropriate method of execution, but the reason remains. Every sin is feeding that creature. Everything makes it stronger. Fighting Sullivan because he still had a chance at getting what he wanted out of life, Wade out of afterlife. Omega 4 was just stupidity. Fighting with McNeill because he had the girl, Murdoch, something you lost. The Archon, who was willing to throw away everything he had, an entire kingdom. Rage and sorrow also fill it, give it strength if jealousy won't fit the bill. And all things considered, there's only one man I can blame.
- "It was all because of you. You and your selfish inability to let go, to stop working to get anything you wanted."
- Greg was speechless after such a rant. What could he say? Only two words came to mind, about the length of the rant itself as much as its content. "...Holy sh**."

- CMoH: Between Spencer and Sin. Sin's being all emo, thinking he's a monster. Naturally, Tomos shows up and takes Sin's emoness way too literally. Spencer shows up too and is completely ready to defend Sin, even though he can tell Tomos is just misguided. Cue short, heartwarming speech I didn't think I was capable of writing:
- Jul 22, 2010, 10:46pm, The Doctor wrote:
- "Tatto-guy's right, leave Sin alone." Spencer went to walk out of the cave. "Oh, and Sin, don't forget you have a buddy to back you up once in a while. Don't let the Darkness get to you, I don't think you're a monster." With that, he walked out, but he stayed near the bushes at the entrance just in case Mr. Book didn't get the message.
- Even later, Spencer and Loki are attacked outside, and Sin immediately jumps to their aid.
- CMoF: Spencer and Richard are frantically searching for a way to pilot the ship in Port Royal, while also having to deal with Sin questioning them. Meanwhile, Kaza and Ezio are holding off the Templars. Kaza's reaction to seeing Spencer and Richard haven't gotten the ship moving?

- "So, I take it the geniuses didn't get the ship going.." Said Kaza in a bored tone.

- The Aselian demon took a different route. He was very annoyed with Victor at the moment, and it showed in his words to VictorIA. "Do you want me to spell it out for you? We. Don't. Care." He made to take a step toward the as-of-yet Driven Interference, but stopped, instead continuing what he was saying. "What part of that don't you get? Is it the 'we'? That means myself and probably the rest of us here, excluding you. Is it the 'don't'? That is a conjunction that is used in the place of 'do not', and usually implies a negative meaning to a sentence. Is it the 'care'? That's..." He paused, then threw his hands up. "We don't care! We don't care about Lucca's sister! Someone else will save her if we don't! All Interferences do that! It's a part of the freaking job description! Whoever makes random links with other people is none of our business until it becomes a problem we need to deal with, and the way I see it, that hasn't happened! So shut up, learn a little tact, and come back when you find a little bit of anything we honestly give a sh** about!" He let his hands down, and took a deep breath.

- Holy crap, this hasn't been used since last Summer? Well, time for revival then.
- CMoA: Yesterday
- I feel Akyra's finishing off of Dani counts.
- Quote:
- Dani could only watch in shock as the dragon of flames came at her, not doing anything to avoid it. The dragon hit, and the serpent/centipede-like monster roared out. Some of the flames even hit the threads, burning them away.
- From a few feet away, a large glob of Darkness began to rise. Once it emerged, the glob then broke into many tendrils, to which all had been attached to the wrists of a girl that looked exactly like Audrey, except for the different outfit, blue eyes, and blue highlights in her hair. Akyra had been awakened, and she did not look happy. At all.
- "Sorin's right about that," Akyra said as she glared at Dani's form. "You actually thought you could get away with keeping me out and taking control of things while Audrey runs off with that winged b*****d, huh? Well guess what, Dani...YOU'RE F***ING WRONG!!!"
- It was then that all of the tendrils grabbed on to each of Dani's arms and legs. In just one tug, all the limbs were torn from the body, more blood spilling out. Dani shrieked even louder and her limbless body fell to the ground.
- There was a flash of light, and soon the area changed back to the ominous Station. Dani was no longer a monster and was back into her "human" form. The woman slowly stood and stared at Akyra, who still glowered at her.
- "I only wanted what was best for Audrey," Dani said, as though she was trying to defend herself. "I thought that if I could change her, then she'll be able to restrain herself more."
- "Yeah, sure," Akyra spat. "You just didn't wanna do your job as a restraint. You're better off doing that than making that b***h go through all that crap. And for that, I'm gonna hafta silence you for a while."
- Dani said nothing, until she sighed and lowered her head. "I guess there is no way to talk myself out of this. Very well...I shall take my punishment..."
- Akyra smirked as a light shone over Dani. The woman could only glance up to see a long glass shard falling towards her. As if expecting this, she held her arms above her to the shard, waiting for it to come down to her.
- Not a moment too soon, the shard impaled Dani through the chest, pinning her to the platform. Though she wasn't killed, she still let her body fall limp. Minus the cry of agony and the smile, she had repeated the scene of Daniella's death.
- CMoA and CMoH: Shadows Within Us
- Audrey standing up to the Shadows.
- Quote:
- Sorin took a step closer to Audrey as he scowled at the two Shadows.
- However this just caused his Shadow to laugh mockingly yet again. "Even after all this trying to prove you're a good boyfriend by trying to protect her."
- Sorin flinched and looked at the ground. Even if he didn't like it, some of the things the Shadow said were true. He was always worried about being a good boyfriend for Audrey yet he never really knew what to say to her. He just repeats the same things over and over.
- "Don't listen to it, Sorin," Audrey said, keeping her eyes on the Shadows. "I don't care if you try; you're the best boyfriend I could ever ask for."
- "LIAR!" her Shadow screeched. "You don't care about him! You never did! You don't need him!"
- But Audrey just glared back at the Harpy. "Shut up! I know I always think about myself most of the time; that doesn't mean I don't care about Sorin! I love him more than anything else in the world! I don't need you breaking me down again!"
- Sorin looked back at Audrey and his eyes widened. The Solar Samurai smirked slightly and stood tall. "You're right. Even if I struggle for the right thing to tell you Audrey, I always care about you and love you. Even if I can't find the right words as long as I show that it doesn't matter."
- CMoA: Swan Song
- Another Akyra one: her backtalking the Jealousy Abomination she was up against.
- Quote:
- Akyra continued to remain airborne, flying away from whatever Jealousy sent at her. The Abomination seemed to be growing frustrated, both with her dodging and the fact that she wouldn't fall to his influence.
- "Why don't you come down here and actually fight?!" he yelled to her. "Your fellow counterpart would have done something like that!"
- Akyra smirked. It felt good to have the upper hand in this fight. "You know, the fact you're still comparing me to that wh*** is amusing. She wouldn't do a damn thing even if she wanted. And for the record, the last time you mentioned? She ended up a whimpering little girl. Yeah, I would have done something to help out...if she didn't hold me back the entire time, that is. And I've done enough to help Audrey as it is, more than Dani could ever do. So all in all, your point falls short.
- "And by the way? All this time, I've been powering up a little attack here. You really could have taken the time to stop me instead of trying to bring me down, don't you think?"
- Before he could say anything else, the counterpart waved her arm, coated in darkness, straight out at him. A wave of darkness homed in on the Abomination, moving at impossible speeds. He didn't have enough time; the wave sliced through him, splitting him in two.
- However, Akyra knew this wasn't done. She descended to the ground, standing at the ready. Just as she thought, the two halves merged back together right away, Jealousy smirking at her.
- "Is that really all?"
- "No, but you have to admit that was awesome."
- And finally...
- CMoA: Hailstorm
- Kalas rebounding Ignis' illusion back at him. This is one of many moments of awesome to come for him.
- Quote:
- Kalas didn't look away at all when it happened. But despite the horrors around him...the scenery changing to a dead land, the mangled bodies grabbing for him, hell even hearing that damn siren again...he still stood confidently. He didn't flinch, didn't scream in panic...he did nothing to show any fear. The illusionist's grin turned into a frown, all traces of amusement gone instantly. Was this raven planning something?
- He then saw Kalas bring his hand up, finding one of those Magnus cards in his grip. "What are you doing?"
- The dark-winged protagonist kept his grin. "If you're gonna fall back into the oldest tricks in the book, then so am I!"
- The card then materialized. What he held up now...was a mirror. The Ocean Mirror. It no longer had the power it used to since the day he saved his world...but that was not the case. Ignis Fatuus did a take, his eyes snapping wide open. Not since the day Stephan Shepherds rejected him out had the dark fire-using illusionist ever been so terrified. He didn't even think the crow...hell, he didn't think anyone would ever pull a trick like this!
- "No!"
- He tried to lift the illusion...but it was too late. It had rebounded right back at him. In an instant, he screamed and fell to the ground. He was no longer on the beach, but instead a dark abyss. Hands, so many hands, grabbing him, pulling him at all sides. He struggled and squirmed against them, yelling in panic the entire time.
- And then, a familiar female voice.
- "Igniiiiiis....welcome to heeeeeeell...."
- "NO! PLEASE, RELEASE ME! I'LL DO ANYTHING!"
- In reality, Ignis looked like a screaming madman. Much like the others who fell to his illusions...now he was experiencing what they had. He was living his own nightmare.
- Kalas stood over him, the mirror returned to its card state. He looked with a victorious smirk down at the hysterical man. "Hope you like a taste of your medicine, bastard..."
