  6. If you look in the Broker Hub solution under the solution folder Bluechip > Test apps, you’ll find the project TestBed.

  8. Set this as the startup and go to Project Settings > Debug and enter in the command line arguments box:

  12. Ctrl+F5

  14. This will open up an instance of the screen with in-memory test data (no db connection).

  16. If you want to run real UAT database data, first ensure that the following root project file Shawbrook.Bluechip.Interop.config has the following contents:

  124. And that you can create a case from the website.

  126. I’ve attached a couple of scripts that I find useful when I’m checking the details of a case directly in the database. One for Broker Hub and the other for Bluechip. Have a look at them, hopefully you will find them useful. It’s important to note that Broker Hub and Bluechip both have their OWN caseid field. In Broker Huber the field for the Bluechip CaseId is called BluechipCaseId. Once an eQuote is created, and the case has been pushed to Bluechip as a web enquiry (WEBENQ), the case will have an associated Bluechip Reference. This is not stored in Broker Hub, so you have to use the BluechipCaseId to find the reference number. Hope this makes sense. When you start looking at the data and the above scripts it should do.
