- What happened to the Email Form that you created? It used to be on the "Billboard" page but now it's gone. I can't find it on any other page.
- I wanted to update the page that it is going to appear on, but can't find it.

- I have yet to come across a service that allows you to host PHP files for free. The once that give you this option for free, will start charging at some point or another (like Amazon server does).
- I want to offer you the solution in one time fee. However, I can only give a guarantee for 1 year that the files will be online. After that, downtime, errors, and repair, will have a charge.
- Also I can not guarantee mail won't be blocked by your recipients. You will be given instructions how you can edit the sender domain, subject line, body copy, and recipients. By editing those, making them "Fresh", you should be able to bypass blocks.

- If we can't place the Amazon PHP files on your hosting package, there are a few other choices.
- 1. I can place the Amazon files on my company server, for a $8/month charge to Webcore1.
- 2. Go with the free amazon server for one, and ~$15/month charge to Amazon.

- Good thing that I checked that you can get free messages, it will cost a little more now that I need to setup a server. $250.

- Hey Bett,
- I was under the impression you were interested in the invite solution. But if you just want a form that will send to the emails you provided, that's even easier to implement.
- I can write a custom script that will use the https://aws.amazon.com/ ses/ service. Once in a while you will simply need to change the subject-line, body, and sender domain. That will ensure your emails continue being delivered.
- A script like that would cost $200 dollars to implement.

Finding a way for people to send a pre-written, pre-addressed email is my number one objective right now, but, I don't see any information about that on this report.
- Options for sharing are secondary until there is a reliable way for everyone to send the email.

- I'm swamped with work, but as promised, and here it is.
- This took me longer then expected, but I successfully configured it with the Amazon service. The Reply-To values we can pass thru.
- The 'To' fields right now only my email and yours will deliver, because the service is in demo mode. You should have an email from Amazon (that I initiated), to verify your email address. Then you can submit a test email, and you should receive it to your email too. The form will show you a popup with some random numbers, that means the emails were sent, after a couple of minutes they should show up in your mailbox.
- Once we install the form on your website, and the PHP scripts with your Amazon keys, you can request Amazon to take your Simple Email Service "live" (out of demo mode). They do this to prevent spammers from abusing the system.
- Please send me the payment we agreed on, and I can continue configuring the script, and installing it on your server. I will also need the password to your Amazon AWS account.

- It's working, but failing because you need to find the email from Amazon I sent you a few days ago, and click on the verification link. While the app is in a 'sandbox' it can only send to emails who have been manually verified.
- Once the development is done, you will ask Amazon to take your app outside the Sandbox, and emails could be sent to anyone.

- I was going to send out a press release. Hopefully get some free coverage for our new "campaign".
- What is the lowest character limit allowed to use the HTML link/letter? I'd still like to offer that as an option.

- I'm going to program nokillhouston@yahoo.com to be the FROM email address, and the Reply-To the address of the person using the form. This way all reply emails will go to them and not you.
- If you have another preference other than nokillhouston@yahoo.com, please give me this address. Otherwise, please confirm the activation link sent to you from Amazon.

- He will see the From Name of whatever the person entered into the NAME field on the form. If he replies, he will see the email the user entered into the EMAIL field of the form. But as I explained to you a couple of times already, if the user will look into who was the real sender, he will see nokillhouston@yahoo.com, or whatever other email address you wish to use.

- I attached a screenshot which basically shows an 'error' message that the emails you are trying to send mail to aren't verified. This error is the last step I talked about, you need to request Amazon to take the app out of the development mode.
- You can do this by following this link:
- I suggest you to complete this form, you will probably do a better job at describing your mission.

- No need to be rude. Your statement below seems to say something different from what we originally discussed. And it's been so long getting this thing done, I thought you might have forgotten what we originally discussed.

- You wrote "I'm going to program nokillhouston@yahoo. com to be the FROM email address".
- This statement sounds as if all of the email that the mayor would receive thru the form, would look like it came from No Kill Houston.
- But we had previously discussed the From email address being the sender's email address.
- What you wrote was just confusing.
- Let's just get this thing done so I can start using it soon.

- I made it clear from the start that I can not indicate a FROM email address other than what you confirm with the Amazon system. The only we can change on the fly is From name and reply to email. You can go back to our emails and read them again If you like. If you have questions, I'm here to answer. The form I sent about Amazon limit increase has all the info you need to complete it. If you don't feel comfortable completing it, I can do it for you. Just let me know.

- I made it clear from the beginning that the emails need to appear to be coming from the individuals who fill out the form, not my organization. We need thousands of emails, from individual people, to the mayor to have an impact. It was supposed to have the same appearance when the mayor receives it, as if we had used the html link and people sent an email from their own email account.
- If the mayor gets thousands of emails that all say they are from my organization, that won't do us any good. Thousands of emails from individuals will.
- If that is not the way that this form works, then this form is useless to me.

- The mayor will see the name of the person completing the form. Also the custom subject line they type. I also explained the limitations of this solution clearly. Its a good solution, and you should give it a try before making a judgement. I put some hard work and knowledge into making it for you.
