Trade Alt Main Ruleset

Timing is by RTA, where timer starts upon first movement starting in front of Wedgehurst Pokémon Center (just after having been forced into it by Hop) and ends on the first full black frame before the credits roll.

If recording via webcam, footage must be clear and visible at all times.

Once the run started, usage of Online Features is not allowed.

Once the run started, usage of any Communication Features (such as local trading, etc) is not allowed.

Runs must be done in the English language.

This category requires you to use one single traded Pokémon that will be used throughout the run. This Pokémon must satisfy the following criteria:

It must be exactly level 7, without any excess Experience.
It may have any Ability (including Hidden Ability).
It may have any Nature.
It may have any IV combination.
It should start with no Effort Values (EVs) in any stat.
It may not hold an item.
It may be caught in any type of Ball (Luxury Balls are therefore allowed).
It must start with a level 7 moveset that is attainable only through level up in Generation 8. This means that it cannot start with any egg moves, TMs, TRs, or Move Tutor moves. No Power Point increasing item must have been used on these moves.
It must be at most at the evolution stage it would be at that level 7.
Pokémon that evolve by other means than level up or trade may not be evolved already.
The region of the Pokémon must match the player's region, to prevent getting the international Experience Boost.
The Pokémon may not have Pokérus when starting the run.
The Pokémon must be at a Dynamax Level 0.
Additionally, the following actions throughout the game are allowed:

Catch Pokémon.
Teach moves to any other Pokémon.
Make use of items obtained through other Pokémon.
Use another Pokémon in battle, provided it does not use directly damaging moves.
Do any actions, prior to entering Wedgehurst Train Station before the run (catch Pokémon, pickup items, etc.).
