  1. Linnea is doomering herself deeper and deeper into the city, a part she usually doesn't end up in.
  2. All the stimulation from her Noir enhanced senses was disturbing her train of thought.
  3. It briefly crosses her mind she wants to do something, namely get something done- fix a tragedy.
  4. Woe is her, she'll never be able to do it, typical Pessimist behavior.
  5.
  6. She ends up coming across a couple that's fighting over a broken bottle of whine, glass littering the sidewalk.
  7. Linnea tries to pick up the pieces, something she knows is not usually her style.
  8. The female scolds her and takes a piece of glass. Upon being set off by a verbal complaint, she attacks the man.
  9. Linnea is left shocked, delaying her response.
  10. She may be a Noir physically but she is mentally still a human.
  11.
  12. Stuck in a loop of her thoughts being cut off repeatedly by a situation that will move without her, she's forced to make last second choices to keep them from hurting each other.
  13. Threats are made back and forth, The man could seriously hurt or kill her, and she seems to know his cousin well enough to get back at him over this scuffle.
  14.
  15. Linnea acts less than super as she realizes pedestrians are looking her way, and she doesn't want to display supernatural strength for her size more than she needs to.
  16. Linnea needed to let the woman escape so she's not hurt further, but scare her off from trying anything with using connections against him.
  17. The former is achieved, the Latter seems to have been achieved, leaving a bit of uncertainty. Maybe the threat was a bluff in the first place.
  18. Linnea did the latter by trying to appear as if she is -with- the man, namely, spanking him on both cheeks in public. (It was either that or kissing and she's not feeling very Disney princess today.)
