subject:	Indiegogo Customer Unhappiness - Please Take Note on the Unrelenting Harassment by Non-Backer on Our Public Forum



Please stay on topic – we find it difficult to “decode” your responses. You don’t seem to have understood the content on our email even after two days of processing it.

Let us spell it out for you:

1.       We have received requests for refunds from backers who have directly referenced your comments. You are soliciting others to inflict direct financial loss to us.

2.       We have refunded your contribution because YOU wanted it. There are facts and evidence admissible in court. Please do not insult the judicial system.

3.       We are not selling a product here. We expect our backers to understand the concept and issues with crowd funded project initiatives, such as delays.

4.       With regard to the wire transfer – we requested information from you, you responded with information and we forwarded that information to our bank along with our instructions, like we did with all other refunds. If you omitted SOME of the requested information (i.e. the SWIFT code) it is your responsibility alone. You cannot seem to follow simple instructions, even if to further your own cause.

5.       You are contradicting yourself that you did not know our R&D is based outside of the US. Notwithstanding the fact that our US and Sri Lanka contact details are public, Indiegogo is an international platform for intelligent, open-minded people who want to be part of something great. 50% of our backers are from outside of the US. If you have a problem with our origins, you should not have contributed.

6.       There is nothing to ‘admit’ that we deleted your comments. We stand by our actions. The delete functionality is provided for a reason. We believe that the comment forum is for intelligent conversation that contributes to the overall goal of backers and campaigners. However you can continue to make a fool of yourself if you so wish.

7.       We have excluded the refunds in our 600+ current backers. There are 662 original backers. Average refund is $1400. Speculation probably kills brain cells and math skill.

Contributors

All Contributions are made voluntarily and at the sole discretion and risk of the Contributor. Indiegogo does not guarantee that Contributions will be used as promised, that Campaign Owners will deliver Perks, or that the Campaign will achieve its goals. Indiegogo does not endorse, guarantee, make representations, or provide warranties for or about the quality, safety, morality or legality of any Campaign, Perk or Contribution, or the truth or accuracy of User Content posted on the Services. Contributors are solely responsible for determining how to treat their Contributions and receipt of any Perks for tax purposes. If a Contribution is returned to a Contributor, the associated Perks, if any, shall be canceled.

Refunds
Contributions, including the Service Fees portion thereof, are not refundable. If a Campaign Owner is unable to perform on any promise and/or commitment to Contributors (including delivering any Perks), the Campaign Owner will work with the Contributors to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution, which may include the issuance of a refund of Contributions by the Campaign Owner.

"by non backer" ?! wait ....
Until I have my refund, I am still a backer !!

So the people are asking for refunds because of me ?!
Not once did I urge people to do so.
In fact, SL offered me a refund to effectively shut me down on the comment section!

Or could it be because there is nothing shown/delivered 18 months after the original delivery date?
Out of the 3 different items, 2 simpler than the 3rd, nothing has been delivered or even a time line been offered.
That is why I have gotten more and more restless.
Every month begging to have up update, instead of thinking, "yeah, we are late, let us be totally open about it"
