When he was 16, he decided to put his talents to use and audition for Hazel Entertainment. He was shocked when word got out about him and another trainee in a relationship. The other trainee left Hazel Entertainment out of shame, but he wasn't gonna give up on his dreams just because of the social 'standard'. His determination and strongness throughout the situation is probably what got him into press-it.
