- Title: Level 50 Crafter Armor Progression Changes
- Body:
- ■Scope: Crafter Progression at level 50
- ■Impact: Artisan Armor
- ■Details:
- In Heavensward (60), Stormblood (70), and Shadowbringers (80), players can easily obtain crafter gear by obtaining crafter's scrips. Currently, however, to progress in a similar manner at level 50 players must go through one of the following methods:
- ◇ Craft Militia-Level equipment such as "Armorer's Visor," or craft using master recipes. Each one of these pieces of equipment is specific to a single crafter, and takes more room in the inventory.
- ◇ Turn in special untradable HQ items that require Master Recipe Books. Such as Spruce Plywood to get the "Artisan" set, which works on all crafters, rather than specific crafters.
- My suggestion would remove the former system completely in terms of getting Master Recipe Books, and utilize a scrip-like system for the latter, easing players into the collection system starting with A Realm Reborn rather than Heavensward. This way players won't have to learn a new gear progression system in Heavensward immediately.
