The right wing media who hated you so much recently are some of the biggest supporters of your campaign. They see the election as a way of getting back at the left for pushing a social agenda they don't agree with.
The left wing media hates you even more than the right did. They don't like your support of the military and of law and order. They also don't like that you've been successful in business like their favorite candidate.

Your opponent is a typical liberal. He hails from the right wing of the Democratic Party, but has been trying to appeal to the left to gain more support. His plan is to set the nation back many decades.
