  7. +TheConspiracyFact2 __ Follow-up (scroll up to see my previous reply). What "spelling errors" do you think I have made? My laptop frequently skips keys and so some typos can slip in when I write a lot. I often write a lot. What are some examples of these "spelling errors" you think you have spotted?
  8.
  9. By the way, *are you saying that when extracting sauce from a bottle it is always incorrect to use the term "centripetal force"?* Are you sure that you understand these two terms and their differences and what is actually happening when you extract sauce from a bottle while spinning it?
  10.
  11. Although you can Google and find far more "hits" for the term "centrifugal" (when emptying a sauce bottle) doing that is not always a good guide to the truth. Of the two terms (centripetal and centrifugal) the term "centrifugal" is much more familiar to the hoi polloi (common folk like yourself) and so a simple Google search will give the appearance that the correct term would be "centrifugal" but it has been my understanding that "centripetal force" is the name of the actual force in action.
  12.
  13. Are you 100% certain that it is never appropriate to ever refer to it as centripetal force?
  14.
  15. If you would be so kind as to cite a source/reference that unequivocally and categorically asserts that only "centrifugal force" is appropriate for this particular activity (emptying sauce from a bottle by spinning it) and that "centripetal force" is always inappropriate and to be avoided then I will consider revising the use of "centripetal force" in future.
  16.
  17. For what it's worth: when I wrote what I did I was aware that "centrifugal force" is the more commonly recognised term.
  18.
  19. Cheers!
