Levi meets the moles, and also kills a couple imps too

You step through the gate.

As you orient yourself, you find yourself in yet another dreary, black, basalt land.
Instead of the large gravity well you found earlier, there are many smaller ones all around.
In a few, there is a small pool of lava at the bottom too.
Procyon
A few imps are scattered around your vision.
There is also something off to the side that appears to be a tree.

I decide the imps can wait, and not only because I don't want to kill them. Instead, I walk over and inspect the tree, as it really doesn't make a great deal of sense for a tree to be here.

It is black, and appears to be made of... glass.

That's very unusual. I make note of the tree, and then draw my sword and walk grimly towards the imps. I've got to kill them to grow stronger, I remind myself, I need to grow stronger to protect my friends.

You turn the corner... and see the monster disappear into a hole.

I look to check if the gravity well is one containing lava, and if it isn't walk in a small amount to test its affects.
Procyon
It seems to be a relatively large well, and makes you sweat lightly as you get to the bottom. There is no lava, but there is what appears to be a slide.

Satisfied, I look for the hole and begin pursuing the creature.
I make sure to hold my sword in a position such that I can parry an attack should one come.

You find the hole, but it is small and dark. It seems the only way to go is the slide.

The slide is similarly dark and scary, but human sized.

I hop onto the funslide and ride after the monster.

It goes for a short time where it gets significally harder to sit up... then the gravity reverts to normal and you find yourself in a small cave clearing.
You look around and see several

I look at the moles in confusion, they don't look like the usual monsters.

There are a few tunnels, but most are winding and lead to other clusters first.

"OH, well then. THank you for your help in this matter." I turn to leave when it occurs to me that I should probably ask the moles for information about this land.

I turn back around to the moles, "would you mind overly so if I Asked a few questions regarding this land? I Do not wish to take advantage of your hospitality, but I Must admit I Do not have a great deal of knowledge regarding it."

There is a large set of underground tunnels in three large patches, and moles inhabit all of them.
