- 1.15.2 is last patch before nether update. trade with villagers for ender pearls and nether is greatly simplified (only need blazes, no piglins, only 1 biome). strats revolve around monuments and you basically reset for coastline villages or a monument. or an igloo!

- 1.15.2 over 1.14.4 since the restock glitch (villagers infinitely restock on day 2) in 1.14.4 isnt necessary for routes anymore. 1.15 provides a bunch of QoL stuff (better performance, pie chart, being able to set spawn without it being night (reset mining fatigue!)) but everything is more or less the same
