  1. level 1. pick single or dual "gate."
  2. pick 1 or 2 elements that you channel. single gets extra "free action" type abilities when they use impulses. dual gets the flexibility of multiple elements. single is sort of like picking the same element twice. Either way, you get two level 1 feats that relate to your element(s).

  4. channel element- 1 action. you channel your element and get a 1 action elemental blast. channeling your element turns on the rest of your class abilities basically.

  6. element blast- spell-like action that use 1-2 actions to do various forms of damage. can be melee or range. melee gets str bonus.
  7. 2 action gets damage bonus from con too.
  8. element determines damage die, range, damage type.
  9. 1d6 w/ 60ft range or 1d8 with 30ft range.
  10. die number increases every 4 levels (5, 9, 13, 17)

  13. impulse- various spell-like abilities that require you to be channeling your element. these scale like spells/cantrips with different leveled bonuses. attack rolls/saving throws use your class DC, which scales with Con.

  15. overflow- a special type of impulse with huge effects that ends your channeling state.

  17. gate attenuator- item used to get rune scaling on impulses.
  18.  
  19. kinesis- level 1 class feature. prestidigitation type effects. for example, air kineticist can generate small amounts of breathable air, push air around. can remove poisonous gas, etc.

  21. threshold and junctions- level 5 class feature. you can expand on your existing elements or pick a new one. You get this choice every 4 levels (5, 9, 13, 17)
  22. "fork the path" you get a new element and an impulse feat of your level or lower with that element's trait. you can't pick composite feats this way.

  24. "expand the portal" you focus on one of your elements. you get an impulse feat for one of your elements, if you have multiple elements you can pick a composite impulse feat. You gain a "gate junction" for one of your elements. if you have no valid options for the feat, you can pick any kineticist class feat of your level or lower instead.

  26. gate junction- extra bonuses for that element
  27. critical blast- extra crit effect for elemental blasts of that element.
  28. elemental resistance- resistance equal to level for two damage types based on your element. at level 17 become immune.
  29. aura junction- augments your elemental aura while channeling. things like weakness to stuff in your aura.
  30. skill junction- trained and skill feat in a specific skill based on element and skill bonus while channeling.
  31. impulse junction- pick any impulse junction feat (single element bonuses from level 1)
  32. or... any kineticist class feat
