  1. /Bzzzt bzzt./
  2. The pegasus let out a tired groan, knitting his eyebrows and rolling over in his bed, pulling a pillow over his head.
  3. /Bzzzt bzzt./
  4. Skipsy sighed exasperatedly, sitting up and tossing the pillow to the side of the room. He leaned over and picked his phone up from the nightstand. He squinted as the screen illuminated, filling the room with the dim light and, from his perspective, burning his retinas off. He got even more irritated when he saw the time.
  5. “Five thirty?” He said groggily, “Who in the hell... what.” The pink stallion blinked most of the sleep out of his eyes and read the name again. “Dashing?” He opened his phone and read the message.
  6. “Come outside” it said. Skipsy sighed again and got out of his bed, wondering what his friend was talking about. He shuffled over to the front door and opened it. He blinked and his eyes widened at the sight. He stared at the orange pegasus who had an opened mouth smile as wide as the familiar italian supercar he was gesturing to. Skipsy took a second to take in the scene in front of him.
  7. “Okay” He said, closing his eyes and looking down, shaking his head slightly. “Okay... I... am obviously still asleep so I'm just gonna.. yeah.” He turned around and started to walk inside, but stopped when Dashing spoke up.
  8. “Skipsy!” He called.
  9. “What?” He turned back around, staring blankly at the stallion.
  10. “What makes you think this a dream?” Dashing gestured at the whole scene.
  11. “Hmm.. let's see..” Skipsy said sarcastically, looking up and holding a hoof to his chin. “For starters.. you're /here/... halfway 'cross the planet.. and... there's a one million dollar car behind you.”
  12. “Pffft.” Dashing scoffed, “Well incase you forgot some jerk abandoned his Enzo in China.. you remember me telling you about that, yes?” Skipsy rubbed his face and nodded. “Well..” Dashing continued, “They decided to auction it off at half price since it was just sitting for who knows how long... and I bought it with money from selling the old house, replaced some of the old parts, painted it.. and here we are!” Dashing smiled widely again.
  13. “Bullshit.” The pink pegasus stared blankly at him. Dashing sighed and shook his head.
  14. “Get in the car.”
  15. “What? No.” Skipsy lowered an eyebrow.
  16. “No, get in the damn car. We're going for a drive.” Dashing walked around to the driver's side door, albeit a bit irritated.
  17. “Why?” He asked, a bit louder than before, “This is a dream anyways it doesn't matter”
  18. “Ugh.. okay.. Even if this was a dream, it's a pretty damn realistic one isn't it?” Dashing opened his forelegs out to the car, and Skipsy nodded. “So get in car... and enjoy it.” He said with a calmer tone of voice. Skipsy shrugged and walked towards the car, opening the scissor doors and plopping down into the bucket seat. Dashing followed suit and turned on the engine, the roar putting a smirk on Skipsy's face and getting a small chuckle from Dashing. He lightly pressed the gas and the car drove off down the street, turning at the next intersection at a fairly fast speed.
  19.
  20. They drove around for quite some time. Dashing was trying to get to a “B” road so that get could really get the power down, but got no luck from driving around the neighborhood for about an hour. Nothing was happening for so long that Skipsy was finding that it was more work to stay awake than it was just to sleep, and after a little longer, he decided to go with the latter.
  21. Dashing didn't even notice the sleeping pegasus next to him until he tried to ask if he knew any good roads. The orange stallion rolled his eyes and looked back at the road, stopping at a red light and leaning back into the chair, sighing deeply. After getting bored of staring at the light, Dashing looked over at Skipsy, staring at his chest rise and fall, noticing how soft and fluffy his fur looked. Dashing looked over his friend for quite some time before a honk from the car behind them snapped him out of it, and said car drove around them through the green light. Dashing shook his head and drove through the light. The small drama had woken Skipsy though, who looked around, a bit surprised.
  22. “Uh, Dashing?” The fluffy pony asked, a bit worried.
  23. “Yes?”
  24. “Why.. are you still here, and why are we still in an Enzo?”
  25. “Because that's what's happening, man.” Dashing shrugged as he said this.
  26. “But.. so.. this isn't a dream?” Skipsy eyed the prancing horse logo on the steering wheel.
  27. “Nope.. unless this /my/ dream I think we're good.” Skipsy nodded, taking in the situation for the /n/th time that morning. “Hey, Skipsy?”
  28. “What?”
  29. “Well I'm having some trouble finding some good roads here-”
  30. “No shit.”
  31. Dashing rolled his eyes. “Yeah yeah.. but do you know any? You live here...”
  32. “Nope.” Skipsy smiled.
  33. “What?”
  34. “No good roads at all.” Skipsy kept his smile.
  35. “Why are you smiling? There has to be /one/ good road.”
  36. “Nah.. but there's something better.” He smirked.
  37. “I.. don't understand...”
  38. “There's an old runway just west of here; It's completely empty..”
  39. Dashing's eyes widened and smiled like a crazy scientist who had just been given the “OK” to press the big red button. The orange pegasus tuned the wheel and changed gear, speeding towards the airport.
  40.
  41. “You ready?” Dashing asked, taking a breath.
  42. “Y-Yeah..” Skipsy sighed, a bit nervous.
  43. Dashing grinned and readied himself, “Alrighty then...” There was a small pause before the orange pegasus floored the gas pedal, the scream of the engine and the smell of burnt rubber filled the car as Dashing changed into second. Skipsy felt himself being forced into the chair from the acceleration, unable to pull his head from the headrest. Dashing laughed aloud, excitement all over his face.
  44. “That's zero to sixty in three seconds flat.” He yelled over the engine, still smiling like a fool.
  45. “Really?” Skipsy tried to act as interested as he could, not too interested in the numbers.
  46. “Yep! This baby will keep going all the way to two twenty-five too if we had a longer runway.” Speaking of which, Dashing slammed on the breaks, making the seat belt the only thing that saved Skipsy from smacking his head on the glovebox, and made a sharp right turn, the tires squealing in protest. “You can pull 1.14 G of sideways gravity going around a corner if you're a good enough driver, and the 485 lbs-ft of torque will certainly help you power out...” Dashing continued to ramble about the car, and all Skipsy had to do was pretend to listen try not to hit his head on anything. Though, even through all the movement, noise and smell, he couldn't help admire Dashing's passion for this car. He had never seen his friend so happy or excited about anything before, and seeing Dashing talk this long about a metal box with some wheels on it brought a smile to Skipsy's face, which stayed there as he started to look over his friend. He hadn't really payed any attention to the pegasus's features 'till now for some reason, yet he still enjoyed staring at Dashing's thick, but silky mane. He stared for a bit longer until “Hahahah-oh shit” snapped him out of it. Skipsy looked back out the window and saw tire smoke swirl around the car as well as the rest of the world spinning, his eyes widening. The car suddenly skidded to halt as the engine stalled, the only noise being from Dashing's quiet panting now. The pumpkin-colored stallion rushed off his seat belt and and got out of the car, Skipsy getting out as well.
  47. “Dashing ar-”
  48. “WOOO!” Skipsy flinched slightly as Dashing threw his hooves in the air, doing a little dance before resting against the car, just in time for the sun to rise over the horizon. Skipsy didn't get much time to enjoy it though, as his orange friend suddenly grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him against the front of the car. “Skipsy that was amazing!” Dashing yelled, shaking his shoulders a bit. “I-It was so much more fun than I could ever imagine it ju-just did things perfectly every time and I ca- it just.. just..”
  49. “Alright alright, buddy, no need to hyperve- mmf!” Skipsy's eyes widened and fell back against the hood a bit, trying to assess what the fuck was happening. He put his hooves against the shoulders of the stallion kissing him, pushing slightly. This only seemed to encourage Dashing however, as the orange pegasus leaned into Skipsy a bit more. The pink pegasus looked around, albeit a bit worried, trying to find an answer to, seriously, what the fuck was happening. Skipsy was now the one that would probably hyperventilate, and after some time, Dashing still wasn't showing any signs of stopping sometime soon. Skipsy noticed, however, that the other stallion was starting to knit his eyebrows in a bit of a pleading look, and after Skipsy realized why, he started to feel bad. He hadn't really been doing anything but stand there and figure a way out of it, but there wasn't really a point by now, though. So after a quick mental pep talk, Skipsy slowly started to return the kiss. Soon after, Dashing started to relax and tilt his head, deepening the kiss slightly after he was sure Skipsy was fully involved. A faint blush was creeping on his cheeks, a bit surprised that Dashing was kissing another stallion at all, much more that it was him. Skipsy didn't let it get to him though, he'd simply enjoy the moment while he had it. /Besides/, He thought to himself, /He certainly is a dashing fellow./ Skipsy blew some air out his nose at his own joke. Dashing, however, took this differently and laid the pink fluffy pegasus down on the hood of the car, running a hoof through his mane and wrapping a foreleg around his shoulder. Soon after, Dashing started pressing his tongue against the other pegasus's lips. Skipsy's blush deepened as he parted his mouth slightly, Dashing's tongue immediately sliding inside Skipsy's mouth, who's eyes opened for half a second before closing them, and returning the kiss again.
