Holy shit a lot happened this week. Some negative, some postitive but even the negative stuff can be thought of a growing experience. It's been cool I guess.

Okay. I originally thought of doing this long monologe about the marathon... where it went wrong... where it went right... and decided that if people really want to know what happened the information is available pretty much anywhere on the internet. So yeah. I just want to talk about my stuff.

The Bomberman 64 run I'm actually pretty proud of. A 29 in a marathon is too shabby. Made some mistakes but my positive attitude I kept through the whole run (trying to make it fun and entertaining for the viewers) and the commentary I gave made me feel like the run was overall a pretty good success. Which is a first for me marathon wise. Kewl.

The Castlevania run was a bit more sour. Made some mistakes, got some bad luck, some technical issues happened with the marathon stream, but whatever. It ended over estimate and way over my PB but I still feel like it ended on a high note and I'm glad I was able to give the game more exposure. Carrie really is not a good marathon run though lmao.

So, as far as MY runs went and MY experience, I'm glad I did ESM. It was a huge growth experience for me that I really needed for NASA. Henry run will go MUCH smoother since it is better for a Marathon setting and I'm far better at that run :>

Did my first race of the tourney and it was AWESOME. My FINISHED run (emphisas on actually finishing) time was 1:07 something. Pretty rough but oh well. The race itself had some highlights and overall I feel really good about it. I did lose which was expected, but I'm looking forward to see how much I can improve before my next race. Maybe I can get under an hour? I think my drive for SM is coming back which is awesome. (Haven't had drive to run it since 2014 lol)

In 2 weeks I run against kojakt who is seeded #10 for the whole tourney... Just gonna focus on my personal time and do the best I can I suppose :>

Room is set. Funds are stashed away. Everything is pretty much green light at this point which is awesome. I do plan on doing a lot of runs of Bomberman 64 and CVLoD Henry because I REALLY want to put on a good show. Really looking forward to meeting a lot of people there too. It's gonna be sick.

I'm for sure going. Got the time off work, rooms booked already (With my buddy MES to boot :D) and everything. SUPER stoked to be there in person for a GDQ for the first time ever. Can't wait to meet all the friends I've made in my speedrunning time.

I'm pretty much going to be running Super Metroid, Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, and Bomberman 64 for all the commitments I've made. So that's all you will see up until after NASA and the end of the SM Any% Tourney. Afterwords? CVLoD Hardcore. I want 36 Carrie and plan to move onto Cornell afterword. I really want to wrap this game up. As far as whats going to be after CVLoD I'm not entirely sure yet. Maybe something new like OoT.

The next few months are gonna be really interesting, can't wait to share all these awesome experiences with you guys.
