A successful battle, despite his injuries, and the evening appeared to continue their chaotic beats and pulses into the night. Golden eyes watched the magical explosions and eruptions dance across the now battle-scarred expanse before the lands of the Estate.

Disinterest was obvious in that classically Rhoynish gaze of his as he wandered the battlefields. There was a faint frown on his face as he moved from crater to evicerated tree, glancing around for any coin that he could come across.

Sadly, facing one in combat was different than his usual banditry-

Sickly green, miasmic warp-lightning would sear into the side of the Rhoynish, causing him to grunt out as he stumbled to lean faintly against a charred bolder to look towards the Wolfboy.

"What the-"

It was a kid, which further grew his frown. However as he just said 'just gettin' my pay', that look of pain shifted swiftly into warm and chaotic amusement.

Karma was a bitch, wasn't it.

"Makin' coin then, kid? A'ight- but know if you fail I'm gettin' MY pay."

With a cracking of flesh and mechanical knuckles, chains of mana began to tighten and coil around the fists of the brutal and wounded pugilist as he waited for the Beastkin to approach!

The fight was a blur, and in his wounded state the rabid beastkin was a difficult adversary to best. Though, due to the gap in age Cedric was more sturdy as Kasimir was a bit more susceptible to his brutal way of fighting.

As a vicious warp-storm thundered down around the pairing, the Rhoynish would shout into the eye of the storm and cause the very earth to tremble and crack, making the surroundings difficult to traverse and fight in for the uninitiated.

Wicked bolts of lightning singed into the mana shrouded and heavily scarred form of Cedric as he charged forth time and time again, chains of mana added additional force into each hard punch into the abdomen and appendages of Kasimir, but they also produced another effect..

. .pulses of mana would escape from the evoked chains to send searing pulses to fester and multiply in the Beastkin's own circuits. With a final wrapping of mana-chains around the Wolfboy's form, a spike would erupt from the earth and send his coinpurse flying to the metal prosthetic of the Rhoynur.

Winking, Cedric would moved to leap back as he pushed more mana into the young lad's form with a wide grin on his face. Exhausted as he may be, this kid had promise.

". .you ever wanna make this a profession, kid, you find me. You got some promise."

With that? The newly adopted Ilian attempted to escape from the fray!

The hunt was a thrill.

A thrill of the chase and a catch of the prey that could not be defined as anything but the pure, raw excitement that the young wolf could not resist. His life dictated that he should never be backing off, always pressing forward..

Even when maybe he should've backed off.

A testament to such found in the constant attempts to not only strike down the Rhoynish with the warp-storm, but to assault and sunder his sensory of reality, so much so that he could no longer find himself in a proper order to resist.

Is it any wonder that he would utilize his quickness so much?

To think that a young wolf like this could do this already - but he was far, far from his peak; far from achieving the desirable result, and whereas the effort is made against the shifting earth and the pure, raw energy of the mana itself, it is simply..

Not enough.

For as much as the Rhoynish is left further weakened, the young wolf is assaulted by a force he could not endure; blasted away and injured, a wolfish yelp escapes him- akin to an instinctive response of his body to such pain.

A snarl as he emerges.. if only to find his earnings missing.

"-- you fuck."

Is it soreness? Perhaps.. but the wolfish eyes stare at Cedric, the ears flattening atop of his head with a growing animosity.

"I'll be coming back for that."

The hunt just began.

And the wolf will find him later.
