  1. <Purpose>
  2. - Needless to say, lighting in Vanilla skyrim is hilarious, Ambient Lighting (light coming from everywhere) is ridiculous, too grey/bright, it makes using a torch really not important or necessary, I don't like that, so a lighting overhaul mod is a must for me in every playthrough, the best one is ELFX obviously, but alas, that mod comes with a great FPS penalty, so i needed a mod to fix lighting while being performance wise as a top priority, luckily, Skyrim modders deliver, I found two mods that do what i want, Ultra Realistic World Lighting (URWL) and this one (Realistic Lighting Overhaul RLO), So i had to make up my mind between the two; I have finally decided to go with RLO for some reasons,
  3.     * 1st of all, URWL makes lights too bright and saturated, and doesn't really dim lights much, it only makes them look better, RLO on the other hand, makes lights a lot dimmer, and it removes ambient lighting.
  4.     * 2nd, RLO not only is FPS friendly, but the author also says that it could proved some FPS gain because it removes that stuff that encumbers GPU which is a +1 for RLO, especially that performance is my top priority.
  5.     * 3rd, URWL primarily tackles exteriors, while RLO tackles interiors and weather/exteriors, and tbh, even if RLO didn't make nights dark as i want, i can easily use a mod to make them darker, and that's why Interior lighting in this case is more important that exterior. Also in Interiors, I get much more FPS so I don't mind splurging a bit.
  6.     * 4th, RLO is more customizable, if you find nights to be dark, simple, just change esp for brighter nights, same thing for dungeons.

  9. <Notes>
  10. - In-game, use the 'RLO Exteriors' power given to you, and disable 'Guard Torch removing', it's ON by default, so set it to OFF. 3 reasons for this, 1st, I don't want guards walking in darkness, I want to see them at night; 2nd, the flickering is believed to be fixed with 'fFlickeringLightDistance=8192' which I have, so no need for this; 3rd, One less looping script.

  14. - Download 'Realistic Lighting Overhaul v5.0.3 - All-In-One Installer' main file and put it in MO! *USE CUSTOM INSTALLATION*
  15.     * While installing, choose these options
  16.         * Mod Core :
  17.             * All except 'RLO Effects' and 'Illuminated Spells', because smoke will hinder FPS and Illuminated spells cut down FPS by 3/4 and are buggy!!

  20. <Compatibility-Issues>
  21. - Put shadows mods below this one since this mod apparently alters shadows as well.
