2. If you are having bugs or errors and have "dirty flashed," do a clean install before posting problems.
3.
4. Do a fresh install if coming from any other ROM including CM 10/10.1/10.2; only dirty flash over previous CM11 install (you may still encounter errors though).
5. SafeStrap 3.65 Required for CM11 install, previous SS and BMM do not work.

12. Note: For BMM there is a supposed workaround - You need to download this file as an archive. Open it and then and replace CM 11's Meta-Inf folder with the one from the archive you downloaded. And flash modified CM 11 zip without problem. That's all. 15. Working (as of 12.30):
16.
17.
GSM/CDMA (Both are good, including Brazil)
18.
WiFi
19.
GPS
20.
MMS/SMS (Using Hangouts)
21.
Voice+ (w/Hangouts)
22.
EVDO/3G/4G/LTE
23.
Camera
24.
BlueTooth (incl A2DP)
25.
26.
27.
28. Download All Packages on your computer first.
29. Before Flashing, verify your MD5 Checksums on ALL packages!
30. While flashing, don't verify zip signature.

37.
PA-gapps: Link (MINI MODULAR is best IMO for PA-gapps)

40. Installing (Tested & Working on XT912, VZW Moto Rzar Maxx):
41.
42.
Download the Nightly, JBX, WiFiAP fix, and Dhacker's gapps into one folder on Internal SD, not Ext.
43.
Boot into SS 3.65
44.
Select Slot (Confirmed working on Stock & Slot-1)
45.
46.
Advanced wipe: (Dalvik, Cache, System, Data, Android Secure) x3. {I still triple wipe before installing new ROM}
47.
Install CM11 Nightly and gapps (via "add more zips" option)
48.
Advanced Wipe: Dalvik & Cache x1
49.
Flash WiFiAP fix
50.
51.
Reboot and Done
52.
53. I always do everything at once and no problems. Everyone had their own method of madness or habit with flashing...
54.
55. Note: Yes I know triple wiping supposedly does nothing extra, but I always seem to have less problems than others when I do so.
56.
57. Note2: I wipe Dalvik & Cache after each package flash to guarantee there is nothing left over then in between flashing of packages.
58.
59. Also, this doesn't take very long. I can completely wipe phone, re-flash stock, switch to slot-1, wipe and install, and boot up the phone in about 45min or less. Setting up all my apps again and all that jazz takes me like an hour or 2 more.
