As I eagerly await
For the day to end
The time is passing
Slowly but steadily

For the day to go away
And for the night to come
Slowly but steadily
The moon's light will shine

And the night will come
As I eagerly await
The moon comes to wake
Because the time has passed

From the ashes I am reborn
The wake of your nightmare
Or the welling of emotions
Blazing passion is ignited
Fiery rage in my heart
Forever a blaze of glory
Such is the life
Of the glorious flame bird
Life of the phoenix
Reborn from the ashes
Makes you feel immortal
Everlasting breath of life
Live to only die
The result is the same
It will live again and again
A curse or sin or perhaps a gift
A blessing or suffering
This is the life of the phoenix
Forever bound by this fate

In a world you visualize
What you think is what you see
All kinds of shapes and sizes
Containing the might of a storm
Let your imagination soar high
Up above the clouds
Turn from white to grey to black
Unleash the power of a downpour
Everyone has a silver lining
Create a veil of fog and smoke
The mind will shapeshift
Every cloud it sees
And turn it into what you imagine
Because you are the watcher
The clouds submit to thee
With your thunderous emotion
Also your torrential passion
As look up high
You feel you can soar
To the sky above
With the clouds and be free

Gloomy Days

As we travel along
Through the day
We can stop time together
Just you and me
Anything and everything
Can become all but possible
When you are there
To put a smile
On my ever so gloomy face
Lasting throughout these gloomy days

Where there are dark clouds
Up in that ominous sky
You are always there
A wonderful ray of sunshine
To brighten my mood
Because if you were not
I would be standing outside
Alone in the rain
As it drenches into my soul
Shivering from the bitterness of the cold
Making my heart give out a warmth
In the cores of my body
On those ever so gloomy days

We can make it last
An eternity together
Just you and me
It is all I would ever need
As you go away
I feel we have grown together
Watching me shed these tears
All for you and no one else
But deep inside you will know
There is my inner child
Always playful and optimistic
When I need happiness
I know he will tell me
Just to go on a journey
All to simply find you waiting
When those gloomy days come again

Please just please, all I ask
Is don't ever forget me
Because I will never forget you
When anything and everything
Seems to all but lost
I know I won't lose it all
My hopes and dreams
Cause I know that you'll be there
Supporting me every step I take
Even if we are away
It could never possibly end
You are my one true happiness
When all seems lost on those gloomy days
