  1. (Tiredly) Hello and welcome to my Dusk Pacifist playthrough. This video is E1M6: *heavy sigh* The Cutty Mine. I hope you’ll excuse the lack of a joke clip this time, I’m just really not feeling it for this level.

  3. Well, this is the point where any sane person would have given up on this challenge. No one ever accused me of being sane though, so here we are. The minute long performance you are witnessing now took about three and a half hours of trial, error, and brute force grinding to finally get. This is just the one level where you're given absolutely no room to maneuver, and forced to repeatedly backtrack into areas full of aggroed enemies. The only reason it was doable at all without absolutely ridiculous amounts of luck is the fact that if you're running diagonally and crouch slide, you actually move fast enough to shove most enemies aside, which is just barely good enough to get you through some of the worst choke points. Even then, grabbing the red key is still a complete gamble, and one tiny screwup gets you impaled by Fork Maidens or body-blocked to death by Leathernecks. You probably saw me freaking out after I finally got through the red door, and I almost lost it all, but I made it somehow. If you want full play-by-play on this level, let me know and I’ll make a follow-up analysis video, but I was running on pure muscle memory by the end, and I was just happy to finally be done with it.
