- HAZARD
- Waterborne pathogens from unpurified water (can) cause serious illness, dehydration, and death.
- HAZARD
- Do not drink saltwater under any circumstances.
- Disposing of the salt requires more water than aquired.
- WARNING
- The components of urine are dangerous to intake if dehydrated.

- 1. Search for a body of water
- 1.1 Observe for the sound of flowing water
- 1.2 Observe for areas of plant and animal abundance
- 1.3 Seek out a lower elevation
- 2. Collect water from the surroundings
- 2.1 Tie a plastic bag arround a leafy branch to collect plant transpiration{#}
- 2.2 Collect rainwater in a container
- 2.3 Use a piece of cloth to soak up the morning dew from plants
- WARNING - Avoid the dew from poisonous plants{#}
- 2.4 Use a fire to melt ice or snow if available
- WARNING - Eating ice or snow can cause hypothermia{#}, delirium{specify}, and death
- 2.5 If in a desert environment, dig a well ten feet down under an area of plant growth{reword}
- 2.6 If by the sea, dig a well behind the dune nearest to the sea
- WARNING - If the well water is salty, you must move back a dune{reword}
