“Miss Rarity…”
>You stood up and took a quick look at your surroundings. Man, it was so good that you were not blind anymore… and that your eye didn’t look like rotten meat was also a very nice thing indeed.
>You then turned to Miss Rarity and… Geez, you kind of forgot how frickin’ hot Rarity was.
>Seriously, she looked like an angel and not only because she was incredibly gorgeous. Her generous and kind attitude and her melodical voice simply made your head spin.
>Maybe that was the reason why you decided to act extra princely and offer her a courteous bow. Someone like her simply deserves the attention… or maybe it was to prevent everyone to see that your face was as red as a tomato.
“It will be a privilege and an honor to wear the clothes that you have made for me.”
>Rarity let out a giggle and gently patted your head “Oh, darling, I love a display of gentlecoltness as much as anypony else, but you don’t really need to be so awfully formal, we are all among friends here after all”
>The moment Rarity said that, a thin and very, very, very attractive mare rushed out from the back room of the boutique holding a worried look in her face ”Bust my buttons, Rarity! Are you crazy?! These kind of royalty-like stuff is totally what we want!”
>The coat of this new mare was a pale cerulean and her mane was… kind of orange-ish? No, Vermillion! And it had these yellowish stripes with… uh… fuchsia? In like the inner parts of her mane style… really, that mane was something else because of how weird yet good looking it was.
>Oh! And she also was wearing this weird black dress with golden spots in the shoulders and a golden saddle… okay? Well, whatever. It must be a fashionista thing.
>”Puh-lease!” Rarity placed her hoof on her forehead and gently shook her head “You are going to make the little Anon believe that I invited him for purely personal interest and that could not be farther of the truth!”

>You decided to get a bit… cheeky and reply to Rarity with a playful tone and smile smile
“You can’t deny it, Rarity. Having the Princess of Friendship and my handsome face in the opening of the boutique is a very, very good selling point”
>”Anon!” Rarity called you out with an almost desperate tone
>You let out a chuckle
“Sorry Miss… err… Sorry, Rarity. I couldn’t resist to make that joke. I know you didn’t invite me just to bring more folks to the party, but even if you did…”
>You walked to the cerulean unicorn while still looking at Rarity… heck, you even gave her a wink
“I really wouldn’t mind showing off a little if it means helping a friend.”
>You extended your right front hoof at the cerulean mare as a smug smirk appeared in your face.
“Name’s Anon. Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it better”
>The cerulean unicorn raised an eyebrow, but ultimately shrugged it off with a smile and shook your hoof “Sequins and sashes! I had heard about the Prince’s “Unique” personality, but I never expected to be this… well, let’s put it as confident… I like it. I’m Sassy Saddles, a pleasure to meet you, your highness. As for what you can do to help, it’s not really hard. Just act nice, pose for the cameras, say hi to some VIP guests and act like a Prince the best you can.”
“Lady, I’ll do that and more and the best part is. I’m not gonna charge you a single bit”
>”Raving rick-rack!” Sassy Saddles excitedly clapped her hooves together “I adore the new face of royalty already!”
>You tilted your head back and rose an eyebrow in confusion.

“The what, now?”
>”You see, darling.” Rarity walked to the right side of Sassy Saddles “In order to guarantee the success of the Canterlot Carrousel Boutique. Sassy conducted a VERY extensive marketing research.”
>”Mhm!” Sassy eagerly nodded “It was necessary so I could come up with a plan or pattern as we call it in the fashion bliz. The first part was called” She dreamily waved her hoof in the air ““Beautify the Boutique!” which as you can see it’s already a success”
>”Wow!” Twilight said from the other side of the room “You really have some mad organizational skills!”
>”Thank you!” Sassy giggled as she waved her hoof dismissively “But that’s not it! After that, I put in motion a crucial part of the pattern, which I called “Marketing to the Mares!” as it turns out, everypony in Canterlot loves Royalty!”
>With a more excited tone, Rarity continued the explanation ”That is why I created an entire collection that beautifully revolves around the royal elements of Equestria!”
>”And as it just happens, there is not one” Sassy pointed at Twilight and then at you “but two new hot royals in Equestria!”
>”All of this ties together when we consider that in every poll Sassy conducted” Rarity finally turned to you with a gentle smile “You and Twilight were the most popular royal members by an incredibly wide margin”
>Despite the very… dynamic presentation. You couldn’t help but to feel baffled about all of this. Come on, you knew those results couldn’t possibly have any statistical relevance.

“I’m more popular than my moms? Well, ain’t that rich! Don’t get me wrong, all of that sounds great, but maaaybeee you will want to do a new test run just to be sure about my popularity… because just this morning I had to tell like a hundred foals who I am”
>Sassy rolled her eyes, shook her head and let out a little groan in annoyance ”And the reason for that is because they are kids. C’mon, Anon foals usually do not care about those topics”
>”Exactly” Rarity nodded “But everypony who is a bit more experienced in life do, especially the ones in the magnificent city of Canterlot. Coincidentally, my most fabulous gowns are inspired by Twilight’s coronation and my own personal research on Anon’s connection to harmony itself! I know it’s bad for me to say it, but the end result is quite marvelous!”
>Well… you still didn’t believe that their research had any statistical power, but… eh… they looked so excited and proud about it that you didn’t feel like debunking their research… that said, you DID want to take a look at their data.
>C’mon, they probably didn’t run any real test on them, but you could! You had those supercomputers back at your laboratory!
>Ugh… just… let it go, Anon… let it go and don’t act like a frustrated old man in a congress.
“Alright, I get it… kinda… okay, I really suck at marketing. Why did you create a dress that is based on me? Wait… How did you even do that?”
>Seriously, how?! A painting? Sure. A movie? Absolutely! A story that goes on and on with no clear ending in sight? Totally! But a dress? Now that was bonkers.

>”Oh, no, no!” Rarity shook her head, giggled and then waved her hoof dismissively “TLC stands for Time, Love and Couture. These are my personal guidelines when I design dresses and they have helped to take my line to a whole new level!”
>You felt… a bit disappointed. For a moment you thought that Rarity had engineered some mad apparatus to make dresses.
“Ah… so no physics then…”
>”I’m afraid not, that said, if you feel like we are pushing you into something that you may not enjoy. Please…” Rarity placed her hoof on your shoulder “Do not hesitate to speak out your mind. You are just a colt after all, I will understand if the media blitz surrounding these type of events sounds scary or plain annoying to you.”
>You gently took off Rarity’s hoof and gave her a smile as warm as the sun.
“C’mon, Rarity. I’m sure that Twilight won’t mind helping you to boost sales, right?”
>”Right” Twilight nodded “I know how hard you worked for all this to happen, I wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t make a sacrifice to make sure that the Canterlot Carrousel Boutique’s opening is a big success”
“Same goes for me. I’m not as close to you as Twilight is but we are still friends, so I won’t mind being a bit more social than usual… or a whole lot more if it means making you happy, besides… I kinda want to see what clothes you made for me, because I’m sure they are awesome!”

>”Thank you, darlings. To all of you. I really was blessed with having friends as fabulous as you “Rarity smiled at your words and gently patted your mane, then she turned to Twilight and then you. “I’m sure you are going to love your new clothes, Anon. I went above and beyond to make sure that they will suit the tastes and style of a Prince like yourself”
>”Well, that won’t happen until the squirt can try them on!” RD hovered above Rarity and yelled “Hey, Spike! Did you fall asleep or something?! How long are you gonna keep us waiting?”
>What?! No! Don’t call for…
>”I’m coming! I was…uh… busy with something” Awww, shucks! You were starting to enjoy the fact that Spike wasn’t here, but alas, everything has to end.
>The salamander came from the back room and was pushing a rack filled with all kind of clothes ”Here we go!” The lizard placed the rack close to Rarity
>Wow… you could see all kind of stuff in here. Tuxedos, Victorian uniforms, lab coats, shirts, ties, you name it. All of it looked super high quality and all of it was also frickin’ fabulous, yo!
>”Rarity” Sassy gently nudged the white angel “I think that it would be a good idea that we start to get everypony ready. Why don’t you show the Prince and Princess what they are going to wear while I prep our model for the event?”
>Oh, baby! Did you hear that right?
“Did you say… a model?”

>”Why, yes, darling.” Rarity nodded “While all the results in Sassy’s research showed that having the two most popular royal members in the opening would guarantee the success of the event. We wanted to showcase my new fashion line in a truly fabulous manner while also relieving stress from you and Twilight.”
>”Of course, Rarity had the last word in deciding which model we were going to hire and I have no idea how she did it, but the mare she picked is perfect! She’s beautiful, stylish and the best part, she doesn’t charge much!”
>Gotta love how dynamic these two can make a simple explanation. It made you happy to see their excitement and more decided on making this event a huge success.
>”Well, what do you want me to say? I’ve always prided myself in my attention to detail. That is why I hired you in the first place, because I simply knew you would do a marvelous job, which you absolutely did! But enough chatting, let me call the model so we can get started. Oh, Adeleine? Can you come here for a second, darling?”
>”Oui. What do you need me for, Madame Rarity?” An earth-pony mare with a light brown coat, white mane and red pupils came from the back room
>Holy… This one was somehow even hotter than Rarity, Twilight, and Sassy Hooves put together… nay, she was hotter than any other mare you have seen before, period.
>She was tall, thin and with such delicate features and an incredibly elegant way with her walking. Even the purple lizard couldn’t help but to eye her from time to time and blush at her beauty.
>In all honesty, you would be heads over hooves for the earth pony mare if it wasn’t for one single fact. You could tell that there was something fishy about her. Something… familiar
