  1. ## World Map Text
  2. The Lycia Alliance Army took Elphin as
  3. a tactician.
  4. Following his advice, they moved south
  5. toward the isle of Caledonia.
  6. Caledonia is one of the main islands
  7. that make up the Western Isles.
  8. The other two are Fibernia and Dhia.
  9. Castle Idina is located on Caledonia. Here,
  10. men from all over the world are rounded up
  11. and locked in prison cells to be taken
  12. to Mt. Ebracum, to the Mines of Death.
  13. When Roy arrived at Castle Idina,
  14. the situation already looked dire...
  15.
  16. ## Intro 1
  17. \g[-]
  18. \f[#|Villager]\m[6|5]\w[16]\f[#|Villager]\f[#|Arcard]\f[#|Soldier]\f[#|Morgan]
  19. \s[#]
  20. Hurry!|/n
  21. Over here!|
  22.
  23. \[#]
  24. A-Are you sure?|/n
  25. If we get caught..|
  26.
  27. \s[#]
  28. You idiot!|/n
  29. If we stay there, we have no/n
  30. choice but to work and work/n
  31. until we die!|/n
  32. You're going to put up with/n
  33. that?|/n
  34. Don't you have family or/n
  35. something back home?|/n
  36.
  37. \s[#]
  38. Yeah...|
  39.
  40. \s[#]
  41. If we escape toward the northeast,/n
  42. there are some people who can help us.|/n
  43. We've got to get there!|
  44.
  45. \s[#]
  46. What!|/n
  47. Some more people escaped!?|/n
  48. What were the guards doing!|
  49.
  50. \s[#]
  51. Somebody put sleeping/n
  52. drugs in their food...|/n
  53.
  54. \s[#]
  55. ...That means there is someone/n
  56. among our ranks who is making/n
  57. contact with the enemy.|/n
  58. Morgan!|/n
  59. I want you to pursue and/n
  60. caputure those who have escaped.|
  61.
  62. \s[#]
  63. Yes, my lord.|
  64.
  65. \s[#]
  66. I will return to the capital of Djuto.|/n
  67. Don't let them escape.|/n
  68. Also keep sendng workhands to the mines.|/n
  69. I can't afford to lose that mine now!|
  70.
  71. ## Scene 1
  72. \g[Hill]
  73. \f[#|Elphin]\f[#|Roy]
  74. \s[#]
  75. Elphin,|/n
  76. That castle to the southwest..|/n
  77.
  78. \s[#]
  79. Yes,/n
  80. that is Castle Idina.|/n
  81. The people captured on this island/n
  82. are first sent there before they/n
  83. are ported to Mt. Ebracum.|/n
  84. Today just happens to be the day/n
  85. that the captives are sent to the/n
  86. mines on a weekly basis.|/n
  87. Rescuing them will be difficult if/n
  88. we have to go to all the mines.|
  89.
  90. \s[#]
  91. Then we must rescue/n
  92. them now!|
  93.
  94. \s[#]
  95. Yes.|/n
  96. I have already sent some spies/n
  97. to sneak into the castle to help/n
  98. the people escape.|
  99.
  100. \s[#]
  101. How will they release/n
  102. the captives?|
  103.
  104. \s[#]
  105. I have told them to send the/n
  106. captives to the northeast.|/n
  107. In other words, here.|/n
  108.
  109. \s[#]
  110. Then we must first rescue those/n
  111. people before attacking the castle.|/n
  112.
  113. ## Village (Red Gem)
  114. \g[Village]
  115. \f[#|Visitor]\f[#|Villager_SocialiteF]
  116. \s[#]\e[5|1]
  117. Are you the guys/n
  118. helping us out?|/n
  119. Then please take this.|/n
  120. I grabbed it when I was/n
  121. escaping from the castle.|/n
  122. I hope everyone else made/n
  123. it out okay...|
  124.
  125. ## Scene 1
  126. \g[Village]
  127. \f[#|Geese]\f[#|Villager_F]
  128. \s[#]
  129. So Geese...|/n
  130. You're really leaving?|
  131.
  132. \s[#]
  133. Yeah.|/n
  134. My friends were killed/n
  135. by the owner of that castle.|/n
  136. I gotta avenge them.|
  137.
  138. \s[#]
  139. Those guys that were/n
  140. always with you.|
  141.
  142. \s[#]
  143. Yeah... When I wasn't around, they/n
  144. were taken to the mines, and told/n
  145. that they would be given work.|/n
  146. But they were worked like slaves/n
  147. until they...died...|/n
  148.
  149. \s[#]
  150. .....|
  151.
  152. \s[#]
  153. Maybe they weren't that smart,/n
  154. but they were good guys...
  155. And someone just killed them off.../n
  156. just like that...!!|
  157.
  158. \s[#]
  159. So you're going to/n
  160. avenge them on your own?|
  161.
  162. \s[#]
  163. Is there something wrong/n
  164. with that?|/n
  165.
  166. \s[#]
  167. No...|/n
  168. But you're not going back/n
  169. to being a sea merchant?|
  170.
  171. \s[#]
  172. Well...|/n
  173. Once I avenge my friends/n
  174. and once the war resides,/n
  175. I'll think about it.|
  176.
  177. \s[#]
  178. ... We won't forget you.|/n
  179. You guys always risked your own/n
  180. lives to bring and sell food/n
  181. and supplies to us.|/n
  182. If you need anything,/n
  183. just come to us.|
  184.
  185. \s[#]
  186. Yeah, if I'm still alive.|/n
  187. ... Thanks.|
  188.
  189. ## Talk Roy Geese
  190. \f[#|Roy]\f[#|Geese]
  191. \s[#]
  192. Hm? What?|/n
  193. You got something to say to me?|
  194.
  195. \s[#]
  196. No, I was just wondering why/n
  197. you're going up against the/n
  198. castle's soldiers on your own.|
  199.
  200. \s[#]
  201. Who are you?|
  202.
  203. \s[#]
  204. I'm Roy, leader of the Lycia/n
  205. Alliance Army.|/n
  206. We're here due to a/n
  207. reuest from Etruria...|
  208.
  209. \s[#]
  210. You're with Etruria?!|/n
  211. Then you're not on my side.|/n
  212. Die!|
  213.
  214. \s[#]
  215. Wait, wait!|/n
  216. We're also fighting the/n
  217. castle's troops.|
  218.
  219. \s[#]
  220. What?|/n
  221. What do you mean?|
  222.
  223. \s[#]
  224. I don't know either.|/n
  225. We were sent here by Etruria to/n
  226. rid the islands of the bandits,/n
  227. but.../n
  228.
  229. \s[#]
  230. ...You said that you're fighting/n
  231. the castle's troops.|/n
  232. Then you wanna hire me?|
  233.
  234. \s[#]
  235. What?|
  236.
  237. \s[#]
  238. I'm a pirate, so I'm pretty familiar/n
  239. with the lands around here.|/n
  240. You look like you've never been/n
  241. here before, so you could use a/n
  242. guide, couldn't you?|
  243.
  244. \s[#]
  245. That would help,/n
  246. but why?|
  247.
  248. \s[#]
  249. I want to help you with/n
  250. your mission.|
  251. Well, like I said, I'm a pirate, so I'm/n
  252. probably part of the "bandits"/n
  253. that you're talking about, but/n
  254. I generally only go after rich/n
  255. people who have more than they/n
  256. need anyway.|
  257.
  258. \s[#]
  259. All right,/n
  260. then I'll gladly accept your help.|/n
  261. We don't know this area very well,/n
  262. so we were having trouble.|
  263.
  264. \s[#]
  265. Great!|/n
  266. Leave it to me!|/n
  267. /n
  268. ... This is it, guys.|/n
  269. I'll avenge you with all of/n
  270. my strength!|/n
  271. After that, I guess I can tag/n
  272. along with that Roy guy...|
  273.
  274. ## Scene 1
  275. \f[#|Bartre]\f[#|Villager/Fighter Generic]
  276. \s[#]
  277. So the people living on this/n
  278. island are captured in that castle?|
  279.
  280. \s[#]
  281. Yes.|
  282.
  283. \s[#]
  284. Well then, let's go rescue/n
  285. them, shall we?|
  286.
  287. \s[#]
  288. ...I'm sorry.|/n
  289. I know you were looking for your/n
  290. daughter, and we made you help/n
  291. us out like this...|
  292.
  293. \s[#]
  294. Well, you guys helped me,/n
  295. so I should help you, too.|/n
  296. Besides, a real man wouldn't look at/n
  297. people suffering due to their marquess'/n
  298. greed and simply ignore them.|
  299.
  300. ## Talk Fir Bartre
  301. \f[#|Fir]\f[#|Bartre]
  302. \s[#]
  303. Father?|/n
  304. What are you doing here?|
  305.
  306. \s[#]
  307. Ah, Fir!|/n
  308. I was looking for you.|
  309.
  310. \s[#]
  311. Father,/n
  312. I have made up my mind.|/n
  313. I want to become a great/n
  314. swordfighter like Mother...|
  315.
  316. \s[#]
  317. I understand.|/n
  318. I don't mean to drag you home.|/n
  319. In fact, I want to assist you/n
  320. in your journey.|
  321.
  322. \s[#]
  323. Assist me?|
  324.
  325. \s[#]
  326. Well, I know that there are a lot of/n
  327. hardships during a journey of training.|
  328.
  329. \s[#]
  330. So I can help you out/n
  331. in tough situations...|
  332.
  333. \s[#]
  334. But Father, if you kept helping me,/n
  335. there would be no point to my training.|
  336.
  337. \s[#]
  338. Nonsense.|/n
  339. Would you not be able to train your/n
  340. sword skills with your father around?|
  341. Or do you not understand your Father's/n
  342. love for worrying about you like this?|
  343.
  344. \s[#]
  345. No!|/n
  346. That's not it...|
  347.
  348. \s[#]
  349. Well then,/n
  350. we understand each other.|/n
  351. But first we must capture/n
  352. that castle.|
  353.
  354. \s[#]
  355. Sigh....|/n
  356. I have to tell Roy that we're/n
  357. getting another member...|
  358.
  359. ## Vs Morgan
  360. \f[#|Morgan]
  361. \s[#]
  362. What are you doing?!|/n
  363. Hurry off and kill/n
  364. the ones who escaped!|/n
  365. ...?|
  366. Wh-Who are you people!?|
  367.
  368. ## Morgan Defeated
  369. \f[#|Morgan]
  370. \s[#]
  371. The resistance forces in this/n
  372. area have been eliminated...|/n
  373. Who...are you people...?|
  374.
  375. ## Outro 1
  376. \g[Castle]
  377. \f[#|Elphin]\w[16]
  378. \f[#|Roy]
  379. \s[#]
  380. Even though we've captured Castle Idina/n
  381. and released the people here, it doesn't/n
  382. mean we've rescued all the people/n
  383. living on these isles.|
  384.
  385. \s[#]
  386. Right.|/n
  387. To fully liberate the Western Isles,/n
  388. we must get rid of the Etrurian/n
  389. capital.|
  390.
  391. \s[#]
  392. So we must head for Djuto.|/n
  393. ...Elphin,/n
  394. may I ask you something?|
  395.
  396. \s[#]
  397. What is is, Master Roy?|
  398.
  399. \s[#]
  400. Correct me if I'm wrong.|/n
  401. But are you not someone of/n
  402. high Etrurian nobility?|/n
  403.
  404. \s[#]
  405. !!|/n
  406. ...What makes you think that?|
  407.
  408. \s[#]
  409. Well...|/n
  410. I can't really explain it, but...|/n
  411. For example, the way you talk/n
  412. sounds very educated.|/n
  413. In Ostia, I learned how to 'study'/n
  414. people and to make estimates about/n
  415. them.|/n (This sounds weird to me, maybe 'to discern them' could be better)
  416. Anyway, am I right?|/n
  417.
  418. \s[#]
  419. What would you do if I/n
  420. were what you think I am?|/n
  421.
  422. \s[#]
  423. What?|/n
  424. No, I wouldn't do anything/n
  425. in particular.|
  426.
  427. \s[#]
  428. ?|
  429.
  430. \s[#]
  431. You must have some reason/n
  432. to hide your identity.|/n
  433. You can tell me when you/n
  434. feel comfortable about it.|/n
  435. Okay?|
  436.
  437. \s[#]
  438. .....|
  439.
  440. \s[#]
  441. Then let's go to Djuto!|/n (Maybe onward to Djuto! could work here too)
  442. To save these isles and/n
  443. defeat our true enemy!|
  444.
  445. \s[#]
  446. Hey, you with the mustache!|
  447.
  448. \s[#]
  449. What?|/n
  450. Who are you?|
  451.
  452. \s[#]
  453. Here,/n
  454. give this to General Roy.|/n
  455. Thanks to him, we can see/n
  456. our families again.|
  457.
  458. \s[#]
  459. We people of the Western Isles/n
  460. never forget when people help us!|
  461.
  462. \s[#]
  463. Make sure you say thanks/n
  464. for us.|
  465.
  466. \s[#]
  467. And that we all express our gratitude/n
  468. from the bottom of our hearts!|
