  3.
  4. Each film is structured as a set of 25-minute (pre-commercials) episodes for ease of planning.
  5.
  6. The Force Awakens:
  7.
  8. Episode #1: “”
  9. •A seven year old girl roasts under the blazing sun of Jaaku as she shuffles through sand dunes. The camera follows her, eventually getting ahead of her, and exposing her destination: a crashed Star Destroyer.
  10. •Opening Credits:
  11. •The girl—Rey—explores the massive remains of the Imperial Star Destroyer. Rey scours the fallen ship for supplies and eventually comes across an officer’s quarters. Inside the quarters Rey finds something of a shrine of the officer’s collected Jedi items. Books, scrolls and other various things! Among these artifacts Rey finds a light saber and accidentally activates it. Overwhelmed by the brimming power of the blue blade, Rey drops the hilt and the blade begins to sear through the floor. Quickly turning the blade off, Rey giggles at what she’s found.

  13. •A Part: Days later, Rey has snuck the Jedi artifacts back to her hut where she lives alone. Having nothing better to do in her spare time, Rey begins studying the Jedi texts, which even contain some basic forms for light saber dueling. Rey builds from her scrap pile a training sphere to shoot low-intensity beams that she must defend against. The days pass but Rey finds her having trouble with a particular form. Suddenly, a voice calls out to Rey and tells her to be mindful of her feet. Finally, Rey gets the form down and successfully blocks the chain of blasts she had been having trouble with. Rey looks around the hut for the origin of the voice but can’t seem to locate it. Finally turning around to return to training, Rey walks right into a towering cloaked figure. The man doffs his hood and introduces himself as Luke (the Luke from the flashbacks in The Last Jedi). Rey asks him where he came from and Luke points to her light saber, “That light saber was mine and my father’s before me. I guess it’s yours now!” with a jovial intonation. Rey says that she doesn’t want to give it back but Luke just smiles and tells the girl that she doesn’t have to return it, “I don’t want it anymore, anyway!” Rey retorts that she still doesn’t understand where ‘Mister Luke’ came from resulting in a second voice chiming in, “All life forms leave behind a piece of themselves in the objects and places that mean something to them,” Rey turns to find another man casually heating up her stove to cook some of her food. Luke chimes in, “It’s not nice to eat other peoples’ food, Father!” but doesn’t actually seem too stern about his comment. Anakin (Hayden Christensen) rolls his eyes and returns to stoking the flames.
  14. •B Part: Luke and Anakin explain that they are indeed Jedi. Rey, who has always looked up to the Jedi, begs for them to train her. Anakin is nonplussed about the idea but Luke gleefully agrees to do so. Via montage the audience learns that Luke and Anakin stay with and essentially ‘raise’ Rey. Ten years pass and Rey tells her two head-mates that she wants to leave Jaaku, feeling restless. As expect, Luke eggs Rey on while Anakin provides a pragmatic voice. Rey eventually tells her boss to go screw himself and then heads out in search of a ride off of Jaaku so that she can go and join the Resistance.
  15. •Ending Credits:
  16. •
