Similar to "The Dirty Dozen" or one of that nature. Japan is trying to take over the world and the generals of the allied forces trying to stop the Japanese have been taken prisoner. A force of loners and fighters is put together to try and rescue the generals and save the war effort with the promise of gold and/or pardons of past crimes.
Set at some point during the thirties or forties, Japan is at war with China. During an attack on the Chinese forces, the Japanese capture four Western Generals. Fearing that if this news were to reach their troops it would affect their morale greatly, the Chinese hire Captain Don Wen to form a commando squad and get the Generals back in four days. Don decides to regroup his old squad (consisting of thief Old Sun, escape artist Grease Lightning, con artist Billy and his ex-girlfriend Lily, the bumbling and apparently unnamed General and his buddy Stone) one last time to get the Generals back. Don is apparently killed in an attack but the group continues on regardless, with the aid of ex-wrestler Sammy and his former manager Emily who trail the group to make sure they stay alive, so they'll have a share of the reward. Towards the end, the previously comical film takes a bizarre turn and climaxes at a Japanese bunker where the group go kamikaze and fight off a small army in the hope that the last survivor will be able to claim the reward. But are the Japanese the only villains?
I cannot believe how much of a riot this film is! I have both no idea where to start describing this film, and how do do it. The movie is so bad, so very very bad, but it is so bad, and so off-base thats it is GREAT! It's a rare film that unintentionally pulls this off. Films like Gymkata and the Transporter do, and only because they are laughably funny in their ineptitude. This film is the king of bad but enjoyable movies. Poor film quality, editing, acting, voice-overs, direction, plot, continuity, historical accuracy, choreography, lighting, and writing combine to make this the kind of movie i could not make any better if I were making an action movie to show funny mistakes in film-making. It's like a blooper reel of F$%k-ups! Nazi's that drive 70's American cars with Hebrew stars spray pained on them? Amazon women ninjas? I reccomend this film to anyone who will take it for what it is, IE not seriously. One word of warning for others, this is not a Jackie Chan flick in the modern sense. He's in the film all of 10 minutes! And he's on the cover!
Everyone must be very high while making Fantasy Mission Force cause this is easy the strangest movie starring Jackie Chan, Brigitte Lin and Yu Wang i've ever seen.There actually a plot in this movie but most of the time it go nowhere for no good reason.The movie is so freaking random that by the time it end i still don't know why or how that happen.I'm never bore while watching this movie,but......ugh!Go watch Eastern Condors if you want a true kung-fu war movie

The Japan-DVD features an extended cut of the movie. In several parts there are longer action sequences. These are not worth mentioning and will be interesting to collectors only, to whom this might be a good buy.  a5c7b9f00b
