  3. Racanzar strolled down the steps leading to his lab-esque basement, pressing down upon a keypad and entering a string of digits that would allow him access to the room that confined all of his ideas and creations. He'd been fixated upon one for some time now-- a supercomputer that would allow you to rearrange your own genetic code. With it, much could be accomplished, and he could use it to increase his mental and physical prowess. It was a powerful piece of technology, but it required some time to construct, and an even more prolonged period of time in order to make it fully functional.

  5. It lay hidden under a brown cloth, to which was removed once the scientist had approached his invention-in-progress and removed the aforementioned cloak; revealing what he'd been working on for close to three months now. It consisted of nearly every component necessary aside from one thing: a memory chip that would allow Racanzar to save any modifications made to his body to the supercomputer. It would also let him encode his own genetic information onto the device for future use. Sliding open a compartment full of wires, hardware and other bits and pieces of tech that made up the operating system, he seized the minuscule chip within his fingers-- precise and cautious, careful not to break the tiny memory device in between his fingers-- he gradually placed it within its designated spot. This happened to be the center of the OS, making the task very daring. One mistake could set back all of his progress, but he was determined. Slowly but surely he hooked the chip up to the system, and slowly but surely he removed his hand from the genetics computer and slid the small door shut.

  7. Triumph and satisfaction enveloped him as he pressed the "ACTIVATE" button near the corner of the top of the machine.
  8.
  9. The keyboard and the screen lit up, as did Racanzar's face with a smirk. He had proved to be successful.
