  1. A young man stood strong, in the narrow constricting hallway of an unsightly part of town. In a building, empty save for one person he expected to find on his way. On his left shoulder, an unfitting green pauldron protected him with all the force it's plastic makeup could muster. A blue and purple towel, repurposed as a cape, was swung over his right shoulder. Strapped onto him with leather belts, he had more plastic plate armor covering his chest and legs. He gazed at the entrance to the place he sought. A beige door, closed, with a sign hanging over it. It read 'Susie's Lair' and had a very crude crayon drawing of an anthropomorphic dragon spreading it's claws added to it on the side. The armored knight swallowed down his fears, reached to his left with his right arm, and drew a gladius from a leather sheath made in length visibly to fit a longsword. The gold plating was splintering off it's hilt and the smooth, reflective blade had seen better days, but it had to suffice for when he faced the beast that lurked beyond this door.
  2.
  3. In preparation for the upcoming battle, he tried his best to spite the ridiculous getup he was wearing and to slip into character. He was the knight, sent to take down the beast that threatened these lands. And he had to come up with some good lines before he opened that door. She would be disappointed if he came in and broke character. Kris had to say, he was nervous. Not because it was embarrassing, he was nervous for other reasons. He had to lessen the unease in his chest before he could move on, so he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and took his dear time for it. Then, he forced his eyes wide open, brushed his hair far enough to wind some of it behind his ears, grabbed the door by the hilt and slammed it right open. In purposefully forceful steps, stomping onto the dangerously loaded carpet floor of a messy room, he entered the room and raised his blade. "Come forth, hideous beast! Show thyself!"
  4.
  5. He had to fly over the entire floor in what little moments he had. It was covered in all sorts of everyday items, nothing really of note. Not that it differed from the usual, but in the heat of battle, you had to watch your step. In a corner of the room, a large pile of things was cramped together and laid over with a white blanket, which was painted over to look like a huge pile of golden coins and chalices. In another corner, next to the unkept double bed, lay two plastic dolls - a man and a woman - tied up together on a porecelain plate, with knife and fork neatly placed on both sides of it.
  6.
  7. After a short pause, the closet, twice as broad as the knight, stirred. It's doors two slammed open and revealed a creature that looked as ferocious as they came. The purple, scaly skin of the dragon the knight sought after, covered her entirety, laid almost entirely bare in glittery chains hanging off of the entire length of her arms and chest, with only a few spiked collars wrapped around her neck and wrists and a makeshift black skirt, made of leather belts, hanging off her waist. Her claws were as pointy as the drawing outside - surely a warning to any adventurers who dared tread into her lair. And the teeth her slobbery tongue hung off of, were every bit as sharp, and had every bit as nasty a yellow tint to them, as you expected from a feral creature that spent her days devouring innocents and lumbering about in an otherwise untouched cavern.
  8.
  9. In confident steps, she left the closet, never dropping her strangely forced-looking hunched-forward stance, with her hands tense to keep them in the shape of painful-looking claws, and licked her lips. "So once again, a foolish adventurer tries his luck with the maiden in the dark. I have been starving. Too bad you won't live to see what joy you bring me."
  10.
  11. The knight pointed his blade straight forward, the tip of it being a mere foot or two from the rounded nose of the beast. "Submit now and repay what you owe, and I shall yet spare you. Resist, and I will smite thee with my mighty blade."
  12.
  13. "Very well, fragile boy! Have it your way!" Without moving otherwise, the dragoness reached to her right with her right arm, and upon realizing that she couldn't grab her weapon without looking after grasping for it a few times, she eased her stance a bit and looked to her right to see it had slipped off of the hoard. So she had to pick up the grey axe from the floor, it's swingful plastic blade shinier than the knight's sword. Now with her weapon in hand, she resumed her menacing stance and charged his way. He had to raise his blade and hook it in at the base of the axe's, and once locked in a stalemate, he stared his adversary deep into her eyes. When he had done so for a bit too long, her grin turned all the wider. "You're a feisty one, aren't you?"
  14.
  15. He seized the moment of her gleeful carelessness, raised his plated leg and gave her a precise kick in the stomach that sent her stumbling backwards, way too easily for what little force he applied. She pulled herself together, struck out with a demonstrative pause and swung her axe, only for him to duck under the attack, spin on the ground, and then draw his blade smoothly against the bare skin of her weapon arm. It hurt quite a bit when her weapon banged against his head before it fell on the floor. But that didn't matter, she was disarmed. Now, she was all but defeated. He grabbed the beast by her bare, and distractingly shaped shoulder, pressed her against the back of the closet, and kept her from making too hasty moves with the edge of his sword a mere inch from her neck. "Still so confident, beast?"
  16.
  17. Suddenly, all strength in the way she moved, vanished, her movements softened up, she moved along with every milimetre of his left hand guiding her. She raised both her arms, surely strong enough to rip him apart, in a helpless, defensive gesture. "Please, have mercy. I never expected a human so versed in combat!"
  18.
  19. Kris gave her a stern look while taking another quick breath and with renewed strength, press the dragon against the wall. "Will you leave the townsfolk alone?"
  20.
  21. The dragon's lengthy head moved about at nervous paces, often looking off to the side, and back at him, when his stares were too hard to ignore. "Sure, of course."
  22.
  23. "What value lies with the words of an animal?" He had to take this a little further, so he brought his blade closer, wound his other arm around her neck and pulled her by her mane. "What assurance do I have that I leave this place and it was not for naught?"
  24.
  25. "Please, I can offer many things, anything you wish? Shall I release the prisoners? Is it gold that you want?" Suddenly, she shrugged her way further into the corner, and turned her blushing face off to the side. "It couldn't be...you wouldn't mean to..."
  26.
  27. Kris figured that dragging her by her hair was a bit much, so he opted to grab her by her shoulder again. "I would indeed!" But once that adjustment was made, he stepped back, pulled her out of the closet and pushed her towards the bed. Within the same swing of him pushing her, she jumped backwards and right into the bed, before spreading and curving her limbs in a purposefully frail-looking but somewhat alluring way.
  28.
  29. This wasn't really the way he felt like acting, but he had to. One of the legplates was already half-slipping off, so he slid it off mid-sentence. "I came to slay a dragon one way or another!" he roared as menacingly as he could. "And by all gods, I will!" Still with his sword in hand, never letting go of it, he stepped onto the bed. Susie, feigning helplessness in sight of him being armed, just lay there, while he put on a menacing grin, grabbed her makeshift skirt by both sides of the very simply metal hook that held it together, and undid it to spread it open, leaving her form completely bare beneath his. But by this point, he couldn't go on without at least taking a moment to undo his own clothing. Now with a little less seriousness, but still in an attempt to keep their play going, he pointed his sword at her. "Make one wrong move, and I will carve my name into your flesh!"
  30.
  31. He had to admit to himself, seeing her so effeminate, pretending to be weak and incapable of defending herself, that was a part of this that he could enjoy as well. With what little time he had bought himself within the magical world inside her head, he quickly removed the plates covering his legs and chest, and then kneeled right above her, pressing her deeper into the mattress with her free hand. He kept the sword in his right hand. She wanted him to. But that didn't stop him from also pinning her left hand with it. He crawled a little further up and trailed his tongue against the unevenly breathing dragon's skin, tasting the salt that must have accumulated within the span of over a day. "What a nasty creature you are. But so healthy, so strong!" he whispered into her ear. "I shall claim you for myself. You will make a fine companion on my travels!"
  32.
  33. "Oh no, anything but that."
  34.
  35. He didn't even give her much time to go on. He wound his arm right under her neck to bring her lazily hung down head a little closer. "Show me your tongue."
  36.
  37. She still showed a little token resistance. Ever so slightly turning her head off to the side with her eyes softly closed. "Reduced to the mere pet of a human?"
  38.
  39. "Out with your tongue!" he shouted. Now, herself breaking character, she grinned, opened her mouth wide, and stretched out her tongue only to have it hanging off of her mouth like before. Only this time, they weren't fighting. He leaned in closer and wrapped his mouth over her juicy goodness, so that within his mouth, he could caress her tongue with his own. And doing so brought all the uneasy flutters right back into his heart and made him feel an inconceivable warmth all around. He loved her so much. He didn't like this shoddy play they put on, but he would do it a million times, just for her. She felt so divine, she tasted so divine, he wished this one part of it could go on forever, but not long after they started, he slipped a little too deep and felt himself choking. It was best to pull back. He felt her along her neck and the back of her cheeks. She felt so warm, and he could tell from the motions that she wasn't left cold from this either.
  40.
  41. He did pull himself together enough to pull back and break their kiss. Kissing wasn't really easy with a mouth like hers. Now, he was sporting a second blade between his legs, ready to slay the dragon beneath it. And with a few more adjustments and one more shout demanding her to look him in the eyes while he did it, they began to dance the rough and clumsy dance of inexperienced lovers.
  42.
  43. This had gone on for several weeks now. And it all started with Susie finding this book in Kris' room. Asriel's favourite novel about a ruthless, but just dragonslayer who fights and overpowers a dragon early on, and makes her his pet. At first, the dragonslayer would wield her as a weapon, but his first encounter with the dragon already foreshadowed that their time together wouldn't remain platonic for long. Kris should have seen the signs that something very strange was brewing, from how the aloof tough girl that always put on a pretense of indifference, was suddenly full of glee and fascination, not to mention the way she blushed and sweated when she fawned over that story. Then as time went on, and they were alone, she would quote the dragoness from the book at odd moments. Then, one day, when his Mom was out of the house, she pretended to be the dragon character, overpowered him, forced herself onto him, and made for an awkward, but certainly unforgettable experience.
  44.
  45. Ever since, she made him play along. She bought odd objects and crafted props. Pieces of armor slightly resembling the armor Kris had worn in their adventure in the dark world. And then she insisted he played his part. This whole fantasy of building up a confident and ruthless persona, only to be conquered by a smaller man and taken by force was so exciting to her, she could barely think of anything else. And then again, who was he not to oblige? So he played along. He put on his costume, he wielded the toy weapon they got for this, and he went through with it all the way. Every time, he ran into a certain smug bird, who couldn't resist asking what anime convention he was cosplaying for or what LARPing venture he was practising for, he had second thoughts. But every time, some parts of these little adventures in Susie's little lair, made it all worth it in the end.
