melee sux

im quittin melee fuck it. i dont like where the community has been for a long time and ive had so many awful matches against people in the past 6 months that im just not gonna bother anymore. the exact same tryhard textbook way people have been learning to play melee recently just makes it seem nobody wants to have fun anymore and i cant stand it anymore. i stopped playing in tournament a while ago hoping i'd have more fun playing against people but it hasnt proven to worked that well. im just not gonna bother if someone wants to go for cheese 4 stocks in a row or never approach like their life depends on it in friendlies. before you assume its because of netplay its not. i've been playing more in person melee than netplay and people on anthers are almost more respectable. to all my frens i'd still love to play against you because i love melee its really one of my favorite games but the overall community has just shifted into such a mega tryhard mode. there are still cool people to play against out there but they've become too far and few in between to bother playing randos anymore. im also really liking ultimate and have been playing a good bit but i dont plan on taking it any more seriously than i am melee in my new "retirement" state. thank you for reading if u did, its a big thing for me to say goodbye to such a big part of my life, and if u ever want to play hit me tf up im literally always down to play both melee and ultimate.
