- Description: Margit was folding clothes in the laundromat at the Palmetto Apartments, when Lake attacked her. She attempted to defend herself, injuring Lake, before Lake shot her and fled the scene, with Margit crawling out of the laundromat in search of help. Margit’s 12-year-old daughter found her body underneath a tree outside. Lake was connected nearly 40 years later by DNA and investigative forensic genetic genealogy.
