- [18:06] Sunken eyes kept to the teen's face, weakened steps slowly dragged the two forward as Xander's gaze remained on the floor. Flesh wounds showed across his body as his shoulder had shown signs of being blasted by repeated blows of a rifle.
- His very breath was slow, as if it was a struggle to move forward. All until he finally reached the Academy with a barely conscious Ranym within the confines of his hands.
- "It'll be alright Ranym… We won... We're safe now.... It'll be alright..."
- Repeating his words to keep himself up right. Xander tried his best, his mental fortitude was the only thing keeping him aflot. Keeping him standing as he finally came to find the gates of Starfall Academy before him.
- Slowly, his blackened hues rose to find their great walls. Water welled in the corner of his eyes as he took a final breath. "We made it Ranym.. We made it home.. Safely... You didn't fail us..."
- Weakly, his head turned to those who were present. "Please... Is there a medic..." his voice was barely audible as he begged for help. "Please... We need help... We.. We were attacked by.. By.." Tears broke as the situation was unmanageable. He couldn't contain himself as he fell to his knees.
- "They.. It.. Whatever that thing was.. It was too strong.. We barely made it out alive..." His head lowered as he held Ranym up. "I chased them down.. But we barely managed..." his voice broke. "Someone please.. Please help us... Save Ranym.. Save him please..."
- (Xander Byron)
- [18:13] Azed just dropped to his knees, even if he wished to help the Fae that he respected so much but it was much more than just respect …
- IT was all too much for his mind, the idea that Azed might have lost another one … especially someone so special to him like Ranym.
- Thankfully even if this state Sage managed to get into his mind, a whisper, words that gave him purpose once more … something he lost seconds ago.
- "Away from the Fae"
- He said with a cold tone, and with the revolver in his hand ? one could easily mistake that he was gonna murder someone.
- But he didn't, the revolver found it's place on his back as he slowly approached the Fae, with intend to grab them to safety.
- And with this closeness ? Ranym could feel … an odd refreshing nature aura coming off him, especially his satchel.
- (Azed Bolim)
- [18:13] Ranym was unconscious. Though he seemed physically unharmed, for the most part, there was a few scratches here and there, his hat missing, and he was shivering and sweating, ice cold and clammy all at once, and the shimmer he usually held was concerningly dim.
- He curled up on his side in the boys hands, his eyes shut to the world. A faint movement of his lips... an apology?
- (Ranym)
- [18:16] Zoraia limps out of the Academy proper with Rudi supporting her on her weakened side. She begins almost quivering as she sees Xander, but there's something... different, about him. This wasn't the twisted monster that she'd seen in the Mire. No, no, no, this was-- him. Just a young Rhoynish man. A beaten and bloodied one, at that. Her eyes slowly trail down to the thing cradled in the kid's hands. Ranym.
- He's *alive*. Definitely not fully intact, though- she remembers how brightly that pink glow of his used to shine. She looks between Xander, then Ranym, then Xander again, her breathing quickening. "He's-- you-- you saved him!" Memories of Xander battering her with blast after blast until she could fight no more flick through her head, but clearly whatever overcame him has finally dissipated.
- "Thank goodness... I-- I thought we would never see him again!" Tears begin trickling down her face. Joy, maybe? "The demon, is it-- did you kill it!?"
- (Zoraia)
- [18:19] The kid's injuries, however, quickly become apparent to her. It's as if chunks have been ripped out of him- it's a gruesome sight, but one that she bears just to look upon Xander with awe and joy.
- (Zoraia)
- [18:20] Sage says, "We must...move this to a private setting."
- [18:20] One of Azed's hands reached towards his satchel holding onto something while the other one was displayed towards Byron as he spoke.
- "The Fae, hand it over so … we can help them"
- The shimmer … it was so faint, too faint, something was wrong and people talking about creatures from hel ?
- He knew something had to be done.
- "We have to help them at once"
- Distrust towards the Byron was clearly displayed, not trusting them even for a second more with the Fae.
- (Azed Bolim)
- [18:20] Esther ven Grimmore says, "I agree"
- [18:20] Sage says, "Come with us, Mr. Byron, Miss Zoraia."
- [18:25] Severely hurt, and swollen, every word that passed over head blurred as his vision gave way. Fading into the everlasting dark as his cries fell silent.
- "Please... Help Ranym.. They.. They're soo..." Broken.
- Raising his hands high, he offered for a proficient medic to take them. To treat them and mend all their wounds. All the while, he was told to follow the headmaster somewhere else.
- That much passed his ears.
- "I'm..." coughing up blood, he spat it to the side. "Okay..." Slowly, Xander struggled to come to a stand. Moving weakly over to Sage to follow them wherever they wished to go.
- (Xander Byron)
- [18:26] Zoraia follows after Sage, with Rudi helping her along. She looks like she's about to collapse from exhaustion at any moment, though.
- (Zoraia)
- [18:29] Zoraia half-stumbles into a seat. She looks like she's about to pass out at any moment, given the day's hardships.
- (Zoraia)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:30] "Ranym everything will be … all right …"
- Azed said worryingly looking over the Fae, trying to feel out what was wrong … but he already had some idea what it might be.
- He tried to be as gentle as possible, his open palm of the hand as still as possible.
- (Azed Bolim)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:30] Esther takes her defacto seat in the headmster's chair. Still without all the details, she allows Sage to head the meeting
- (Esther ven Grimmore)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:41] After taking out those that were not necessary for the room, Sage will examine the boy that is in front of him. A burst of holy magic when directly to him...just to see how he was.
- The boy was not as bad as the girl...regardless, the holy magic washed away some of that vicious energy that he, for some reason has on his body.
- After taking care of that, he went to take a sit over the table, of course, he took out from a green portal a mini-chair and table, just like the big one that the headmistress was using.
- "Mr. Xander, according to Miss Zoraia, you were lurking inside the forbidden forest, and not only that, she stated that you team up with a demon to attack her and Mr. Ranym." He gestured towards, Azed.
- "Mr. Bolim is here, as forestkeeper." Then at Aurella. "Miss Dayndros as house representative." And then looked behind him. "And of course, Deputy headmistress, who is going to be acting as the acting headmistress, alongside with me." His eyes went to the boy, they were somehow cordial but still the solemnity of the moment.
- "We would like to know the facts that lead you two, here. After that, we are going to decide the consequences of your actions.: He shifted his sight between the two.
- "Both of you may speak now.."
- (Sage)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:51] Zoraia looks incredibly close to passing out. Put simply, she's had an awful day. She looks towards Xander, shivering, before giving her explanation of the events once more. It hurt much less to go over it now that she KNOWS that Ranym is alive and Xander is... relatively sane, albeit clearly damaged psychologically from whatever that horrible monster did to him.
- "Xander and I were-- we were sparring on the edge of the Mire. I didn't even know it was that way. Then, as we were about to go again, a voice echoed in both of our heads, telling us to commit bloodshed and trying to make us perform greater v-violence."
- Zoraia shudders as she hears that horrible voice echo through her mind once again. It's just a memory, but it still burns. "We stopped sparring. I told Xander that I was going to get help, and Xander said he was going to investigate. I ran back and told Ranym, a-and he told me to lead him to where Xander was."
- She looks back towards Azed and Ranym with concern. "We got to where we were, and Xander was nowhere to be found. So, we went further south, and entered the entrance to-- to the Mire proper. That was when the demon started its attack. It screamed directly into my mind by some kind of psychic power, a-and conjured up darkness around Ranym, Xander, and I. I was-- terrified."
- "I summoned up my light and dispelled the darkness for a little while. I even managed to reveal the demon in the process- it was this giant, hideous monstrosity with ashen skin and fiery eyes. It reeked of occult magic and seemed to be able to manipulate the shadows. Just looking at it made my heart lurch out of my chest."
- "And then-- Xander started repeating its mantras. About how the light was wicked, about how darkness would reign supreme. I tried to talk him down, b-but he had this-- this look in his eye. This horrible, evil look. A fight broke out, and... and..." Zoraia's voice quivers as the memory flashes through her mind. "The demon consumed Renym in is darkness. I was extremely hurt and my leg was wounded, and I could barely move. I-- I could only watch."
- She gives a fearful glance to Xander. "Then, Xander started approaching me. He was about to shoot me and finish me off, but I managed to escape by teleporting away. I limped back to the Academy before they could pursue me and found Sage."
- (Zoraia)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:05] To explain what had happened...
- "It's all.. It's all really fuzzy.." he started as he sat before the group, confused about the entire altercation. "You.. Go first Zoraia." They were in a better shape of mind after all.
- Slouching forward as he pressed his palm against the side of his head, he hoped that Zoraia's story would help fix his memory. Aiding in his fuzzy thoughts as he believed that the two's story should match up perfectly.
- He was wrong.
- "N-No!" he stuttered! Weakly, he turned to Zoraia. Horrified that they'd even consider such a thing, if anything. Make up such a lie. "No, no way.. That's not what happened." Shaking his head side to side, a pained expression crossed his face.
- "No.. no.. After the class the Stellus had taught.. I went to go train with another student. We went south of the Academy because thegym and underground arena were full, so he decided that the best place to train would be an open patch of land near Fenrir's household." He explained.
- "After a couple of fights with them, they left to go attend to something. I was going to head back to until Zoraia came back.." He paused, as he couldn't seem to come to grips that Zoraia had accused him of such a thing. "I asked Zoraia if she wanted to have a friendly spar. She accepted and we got about one round done.. Then..." He halted again, his body began to shake as he began to relive the memories of the creature that could've killed them all.
- "It came. It started to talk in our voices, I noticed it first as I told Zoraia. Then she told me she heard the same thing. We both decided that it was best to go get some help to figure what it was. So I decided to stay to keep the creature busy while she ran to grab some administration. They came back with Ranym and a fight began.."
- Chancing a glance, he looked to Zoraia. Frowning as he knew this was where their stories separated. "We all fought against the creature, but it was to strong and it managed to capture Ranym. Zoraia decided to head back while I pursued... It took.. It took a while.. I followed them to the dreadwoods before I finally managed to stop them. Then another fight happened. Ranym and I fought against the creature.. Barely.. He supported me throughout his.." He glanced at Ranym's direction. "State.. And we finally managed to beat them back... I then took Ranym and walked across Esshar to finally get here... And that's it."
- (Xander Byron)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:06] Sage says, "Thank you for the information Miss Zoraia."
- [19:06] Zoraia asks, "M-May I head back to the Infirmary now?"
- [19:07] Sage says, "You may go to rest."
- [19:07] Zoraia says, "Thank you..."
- [19:07] Xander Byron says, "Good night.. Zoraia."
- [19:07] Zoraia glances back to Xander, feeling rather confused and a little betrayed.
- (Zoraia)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:07] Zoraia says, "--Goodnight, Xander. I hope we can f-finally find out what happened."
- [19:07] Zoraia limps out.
- (Zoraia)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:07] Xander Byron says, "... Yeah."
- [19:08] Zoraia walks into a locked door.
- (Zoraia)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:08] Zoraia says, "--ow."
- [19:08] Zoraia says, "--thanks."
- [19:12] Sage moved his attention between Azed and Esther.
- (Sage)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:25] Esther mulled over the stories, it seems there definitively was an attack, one of a Mire being against students and Ranym. Though the involvement of Xander and what side he was on was debated.
- Did he attack the others? Was he possesed? Either way, there were certainly discrepancies to sift through.
- "Hmm, Mister Byron, according to Zoraia's story, you were not directly involved in a fight, but tried to attack. In your story, you fought with Ranym and Zoraia. Due to Ranym's state of unconsciousness I cannot get their side, so it stands as one student's word against another."
- Esther rested her elbows on the desk.
- "I have seen many fights, and even the winner has some marks left over. Even upon recent return none were scene. So I would like to hear on how you were able to come out of the battle unharmed."
- (Esther ven Grimmore)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:34] The Fae continued to be within Azed's hand, as gentle as it could be, not shaky at all even if he is truly shaken over what is happening.
- He felt the aura emanating from within the Fae and knew it all too well especially considering it's source but in truth ? more than one thing was wrong.
- Azed was no medic, not yet, not without proper medical training, and he really regretted now not attending those classes.
- Everything happening in the background was a muted blur to him, from time to time his mind would register some words, just enough to piece together some things but his entire focus was on the fairy … until he heard a whisper.
- "what ? but would that not be"
- His gaze for a second turned to his satchel as if listening to something within it before replying.
- "Are you sure it is saf… yes …"
- His free hand reached deeper into the satchel, grabbing onto something as sweat began appearing on his face while his aura was weakening, as if whatever he touched was draining his mana.
- "Ranym … you better … live damn it …"
- Because even if IT assured him this would be safe to the three of them ? he was truly not sure.
- With whatever mana was still remaining within him that was safe to use he began incantation for the forest form, quickly spreading bark around his limbs and skin, making Ranym look like they were just resting on a branch of a tree if not for their clothes and aura around the Fae, except this tree would not be just a normal one.
- And then his aura changed drastically, it began growing in power at an alarming rate, making the bark on Azed's skin slightly glow as he winced in pain, clearly whatever was happening was painful to him but he kept the hand with Fae steady.
- And Ranym ? if they were awake ? could have felt sensation of balance, stability, and harmony, feelings that were perhaps familiar, feelings that perhaps would have reminded Fae about their Mother.
- Azed's arm became as if branch of the world tree itself for a moment, the energies that it released was not really strong enough to dispel any sickness affecting the Fae but for sure it calmed down the mental effects of the occult at least for a moment, after all, mother herself whispered to him this idea.
- He grunted, even if those energies were of good his body was not made to handle them, painful transfer of power between IT in the satchel and bark around his limb that was holding the Fae.
- Finally he retreated his hand from the satchel as his aura was slowly returning to normal, the connection was cut and with sweat pouring out from his face he looked at the Fae and asked.
- "Ranym ?"
- (Azed Bolim)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:37] Sage waits for the answer.
- (Sage)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:49] Raising his head, he continued to hold his frown as the question was brought about his current appearance.
- "When Professor Ranym wakes up. I'm sure that he'll tell you the same thing..." Shaking his head side to side, he couldn't seem to comprehend his current situation.
- "I've been fired at.. Shadows tore through my flesh and they blown out my shoulder with their rifle.. I don't know what else there is to tell you." Stars flooded his vision as his head continued to bob side to side. Dazed after the entire conflict, and not receiving any medical help.
- "I did all I can.."
- Slowly, did his frame fall into his seat as he groaned softly. Lowering his grip on his shoulder, revealing his flesh wound as he slouched further. "I don't know what you mean that I'm not harmed.. But I do need some medical attention... M- My father.. He's a doctor. He can come to the school and help me...Wait.. Is.. Is Ranym okay? Is he doing alright?"
- (Xander Byron)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:01] Esther kept her fingers interlaced as she listened in. Perhaps she missed the injury. Eyes her age could be doing that, but at least her mind is still as sharp as ever.
- "Mmm, very well, this can be looked into further when Raynm regains consciousness and are free. We only have circumstantial evidence to go off of right now, and an injury that is disputed on how it was received."
- A paused was held for a moment.
- "So until then, what I would like to know from you Mister Byron is why students believe this creature you encountered is a demon? A monstrous appearance and ability to use telepathy could fit the requirements to a ogre, a truly far gone mutant, or most likely, a nethradin. Demons have not been on Esshar for over one hundred years..."
- Esther remembered the rumors of monsters in her time, but it was one of a very different kind.
- "It is not impossible, after all, vampires came here when they were thought myth. I justwant to know if there were any other features that could solidify that this creature was indeed a demon."
- (Esther ven Grimmore)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:06] Mother...
- Cold walls, mildew dripping thick into a puddle below.
- Come home Ranym, come home.
- Dust on the shelves, the pages so old they fall apart.
- She waits, Ranym. Come home.
- A cold so deep, his bones ached. A heat so thick, his sweat stuck. Ranym's eyelids fluttered as he shifted, twitched. His breathing hitching. The past, the future, tumbling violently over one another. Dimly lit halls bled into vast stretches of sand broken by the occasional ruin. Too late. He would be too late, it wasn't enough, not yet...
- A brush of something graced his flesh, and in that moment there was a spark. A conflict. The fluxation of the lifestream arched over his flesh. Something dark, disgusting, slimy, pursued it a moment later.
- The tree would grace it in such a fragile moment, and everything in Ranym screamed 'NO!' And as that little fragment of 'mother' reached out, its paths crossed with that unsavory portion.
- And everything in the seed would recoil in horror. The taint of deep rooted occultism energies... It had been a sweet thought, but poorly executed. Such a contrasting energy would be like a severe burn against such a pure portion of something beyond nature. Ranym would jerk, violently. A hand reaching out, as if to shove the tree aside, curling in on himself.
- That fragment of 'mother' within was screaming in pain, yet nobody would hear its voice. Nobody save for perhaps Sage - kin as sensitive as he was - and Azed - who stood so interlaced with that piece of their world. A silent scream that quieted soon after.
- Yet what effects were sought soon came to light.
- Ranym stirred, and opened his eyes slowly, as if they weighed as much as the world.
- The touch of their mother had stirred him, but in turn it would grace upon what it should never touch, a conflict of two opposing energies, ripping so deeply into the fae that he felt as if he was being torn in half.
- "Mo..."
- (Ranym)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:14] Sage would not speak until it was appropriate, which it seem it was. "Regardless of what happened, Mr. Byron," Sage said calmly.
- "I will tell you two things, one, you should not use the Leonaus uniform, change it immediately. You're from House Fenrir." The fairy then joins his hand.
- "I will let Miss Grimmore decide over this situation, the only thing I'm going to add, whatever she decides, is the following." He paused and took a deep breath.
- "Since there are any discrepancies in your story and the one that you peer said.
- if hear that any of you went to the dark forest or the approximate, you will be expelled and your privilege to be a student here revoked." Sage said.
- "It still doesn't make sense to me, the injuries that your friend had were darker, with magic that it doesn't match the injury that you have."
- "I fix both, and it's very weird to me that the same magic was not used on you." He paused.
- "I also don't understand how you two, as you said, injured, were able to take down the monster after, Miss Maira fleet, nor I don't get why she didn't tell me to run towards your direction when she spoke to me or Mr. Bolim.
- Things are not adding up, But, I will give you the benefit of the doubt with the condition, I just said, If I see you, or one person report me, that you put afoot, in the dark soil, and believe me, I will know, you can consider yourself expelled." After that, Sage moved his attention back to the other fairy.
- "I hope he is okay, and I'll wait to hear his side of the story."
- (Sage)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:24] "I'll be sure to keep eyes on him then. I'll uh.. let another know to for when I sleep, Sage."
- The Dayndros' head tilted from left to right and a hand extended to call her resting Direwolf to approach. The hand ran through its course fur.
- "But, if that's all I should probably go try and get some rest."
- (Aurella Dayndros)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:24] Aurella Dayndros says, "Unless you'd like to say something further."
- [20:24] Esther ven Grimmore says, "That is all Rep. Dayndros. Report any reports you recieve on the matter to Sage or I"
- [20:25] Aurella Dayndros says, "Sure."
- [20:25] Sage nods.
- (Sage)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:25] Aurella Dayndros says, "I'll talk to Sage in the morning incase I miss anything."
- [20:25] Sage says, "Sleep well."
- [20:25] Aurella Dayndros asks, "Can someone let me out?"
- [20:25] Aurella Dayndros says, "It's locked."
- [20:27] The verdict of the given situation was long, but necessary based on the severity of the situation. A demon-like creature attacked, and even harmed a couple of students and teacher. Something that wasn't the norm, even amongst the rampant battles that occurred between the students every day.
- Shallowing hard as he began to hug himself, he finally replied "I understand the situation, and I thank you both for doing all that you can to help figure out this situation. It was my mistake to go further into the dark soil. It was wrong of me to linger there any longer than necessary. But if you ever need to call me back to answer anymore questions.
- I'm more than happy to help out and come right away." he sighed, hoping that the two stories would eventually come together and that the headmaster would learn the truth. For him to attack his fellow peer sounded senseless to him, but as long as Ranym was okay. He wouldn't mind waiting, even if there was punishment.
- "As for the description of the creature.. I believe it was a Mutant.. They shot me with their rifle and I don't believe that Demons or Ogre's use such humane weaponry in battle. So maybe that was the case?" It could also be a powerful witch, he knew that they could whisper inside the mind of others as well.
- "The reason why I say Mutant.. Is because they had a humanoid body.. They had.. Odd features, smoky even when it used it's magic. But the rest is blurry... I can't exactly tell you with vivid details. Sorry for not being any more helpful..."
- His head turned towards Sage.
- "I apologize about my colors as well. I'll change them immediately the moment I leave here. It's against school rules and I should follow them like everyone else. I also promise not to pass the boundaries into the dark soil again. This.. This experience is more than enough to tell me to not go there again. As for the specifics? I'm not quite sure... The entire mess is really fuzzy to me. I do apologize again.."
- Again and again, he continued to apologize. Clearly traumatized from the encounter that he had lived through.
- "I hope for the best for Ranym.. And hope that we get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. If there's nothing else.. Then I'll go.."
- (Xander Byron)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:29] Sage says, "No Mr. Byron, you did not understand me, you are not to go down there anymore, you and Miss Maia, can't go there, a foot in that dark soil, will be the end of your career here."
- [20:31] Sage says, "This means, that the areas around it, say even the green forest, is forbidden to you."
- [20:31] Xander Byron says, "I know.. I won't ever go there again."
- [20:32] Xander Byron asks, "-Wait, green forest?"
- [20:32] Xander Byron asks, "You mean near the Boars?"
- [20:32] Xander Byron asks, "Or the forest south of the Academy?"
- [20:32] Sage says, "No, you are not to walk down the stairs near Fenrir's house, nor cross the bridge that belongs to Basilisk."
- [20:33] Xander Byron says, "But.. I belong to Basilisk..."
- [20:33] Sage says, "You don't."
- [20:33] Xander Byron asks, "Do I..?"
- [20:33] Xander Byron asks, "-Are you sure?"
- [20:33] Sage says, "You belong to Fenrir."
- [20:33] Azed was exhausted, part of his body used as a vessel for powers originally beyond this realm to help Ranym in his hand with the powers of occult that stained them.
- Scream was heard, loud and deafening within his mind, the pain of the mother as if his own but for Ranym he had to hold.
- The bark around his legs was the only thing keeping him upright as the muscles gave out from the shock of the emotions coursing through him, but thankfully they stopped quickly.
- With a migraine of a lifetime Azed looked at the Fae again that was moving, even opened their eyes and spoke something, a quiet whisper his mind didn't register after such defeating screams.
- "R-Ranym ?"
- pure worry for both beings was within his voice, unsure if the mother was true in it's whispers that it would be safe, perhaps it would just need time to recover now ? why would it lie ?
- His own circuits wre slightly lightly, used to such influxes of mana after Willowtalon cursed him, hopefully he himself will recover quickly enough to explain himself to groggy Fae.
- But his own state didn't matter for him right now, what is important is Ranym, one he thought was dead not so long ago … one that he would not let such fate to happen to.
- "Are you … all right ?"
- (Azed Bolim)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:33] Sage says, "I'm sure."
- [20:34] Xander Byron says, "That's.. Strange..."
- [20:34] Xander Byron says, "Okay..."
- [20:34] Sage stops and thinks.
- (Sage)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:34] Xander Byron says, "I promise that I won't."
- [20:34] Sage says, "You belong to Basilisk, yes."
- [20:34] Sage says, "Sorry about that."
- [20:34] Xander Byron asks, "I do?"
- [20:34] Sage says, "Yes."
- [20:34] Xander Byron says, "No, no.. It's my fault for.. Forgetting..."
- [20:34] Sage says, "Regardess. "
- [20:34] Sage says, "You are to use their uniform. "
- [20:34] Xander Byron says, "I will."
- [20:35] Sage says, "The brigde that goes from your house to the forest? you can"
- [20:35] Sage says, "Use it."
- [20:35] Xander Byron says, "I will."
- [20:36] Xander Byron says, "No problems from me anymore, I promise."
- [20:37] Esther did no press further. It could handle firearms, and if the story was correct that was plenty of evidence towards mutants. Oh if her mutant cure idea ever came to fruition this would be much simpler solution.
- "Very well, I thank you for your cooperation."
- A short exhale was given as Esther straightened her posture. Eyes shifting from the fae to the boy.
- "Ah, yes, Assistant Sage has covered what I intended to say. Take this as an official warning. If I hear you have stepped into the dark soil once again, there will be strict consequences."
- A stern gaze was given towards the boy.
- "I hope the next time I hear your name it is for a heroic accolade. But if Sage has nothing else to say, you are dismissed Mister Byron."
- (Esther ven Grimmore)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:38] Sage says, "I don't have anything more to say, you're dismissed, Mr. Byron."
- [20:39] Alright?
- Was he alright?
- He felt heavy. Everything felt heavy, and cold, but he was sweating, and his head was spinning. Everything felt off. The colors of the world seemed faded, and his mouth was like cotton. Thoughts and memories came slowly. The students... he jolted sharply, shut his eyes, breathed out.
- "...Stu...Students...are... are they...?"
- Some part of his brain registered Azed was here. Azed was the one holding him, not some horrible twisted creature. Yet somehow that gentle touch only made him want to recoil more, and he held his head, his breathing shaky.
- "...Zoraia… Xander…" He could hear one of their voices. Thoughts tangled and tripped over one another as he tried to clear them, struggling to open his eyes. His stomach lurched.
- (Ranym)

- [20:41] Without much of a word, Xander rose respectfully. Bowed silently before giving out his fair share of words.
- "Thank you both, I hope that the two of you have a good night."
- Removing himself from his chair, Xander turned to leave. "Feel better Ranym… You didn't fail us.. I promise you..." Glancing their way one final time before nodding towards Azed, knowing that he could trust Ranym in their care.
- "You all have a wonderful night.. Thank you for everything.."
- (Xander Byron)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:42] Xander hits his head on the door.
- (Xander Byron)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:42] Xander Byron says, "..."
- [20:42] Xander Byron asks, "Can I have some help?"
- [20:44] Sage says, "Farewell."
