  1. [16:39] {NARRATION} Soft sky above, and sharp stones underfoot, with clouds caressed with reflecting light... ocean shore is a gateway, a place where the aquatic and terrestrial worlds collide. Needless to say, it's rather peaceful... with lacy waves being drumbeat that echo one's heart, and breeze blowing the tension right out of bones, though... anyone to step onto the sands of this particular island would only feel the crippling dread.
  2.
  3. It's a twisted, disgusting sensation, pushing against the group of mages like an invisible gale all the while, creeping over like an icy chill, numbing in the moment. Regardless, as soon as the unit docks their boat, and steps out, first thing to notice would be the distinct lack of any other means of transportation. No ships, or rowboats, or anything of sorts.
  4.
  5. As for the sight to follow, well, a single castle standing tall about a couple miles off. It lays like an old man of the hill, with sunlight shimmering along its craggy, tumble down face. Moss clung in the shade of the ancient walls like a straggly beard, and yet... one didn't need to be attuned to the Arcane, or be an exorcist to sense the corruption embracing along, emanating from its borders all the same.
  6.
  7. The reports held some truth, it appeared. The taint of undeath was all over the area.
  8.
  9. Upon further inspection, two dirt paths should be clear, one likely leading to the fort up north, meanwhile the other drifting over to the west, to a place unknown, though the chaotic presence certainly isn't as vivid in this particular direction.
  10. [16:43] Stepping onto the island she could sense the taint here... much like the taint that followed the Lich King's army... She certainly knew they were in the right place if nothing else...
  11.
  12. Looking around she takes note of the lack of other ships... it made her wonder for the other inhabitants of the island... were they all gone..? Fled the undead...? Or... were the ships sank so no one could escape...?
  13.
  14. As she steps from the boat she pulls her shield and mace... may as well be ready...
  15.
  16. She looks to her mother to decide the path they take... however.. she was ready for danger should it arise...
  17. (Anise Ixis)
  18. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. [16:47] "I do not like the stench," she says as she gripped her nose with her right hand and holding her staff with the left, "it is really gross."
  21.
  22. Her eyes looked in the area, how could something like this happen? Never would she suspect that something as bad as this could happen. It's not difficult that she survived, either. With the help of gravity whatever did happen she avoided by a large margin. Upon seeing everything that was happening, she could only deduce that this place was not safe.
  23.
  24. Very, not safe.
  25.
  26. "What do we do, now?"
  27. (Mikiko Heifang)
  28. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  29.
  30. [16:48] The feeling of dread that hit her as soon a she stepped foot on the island was similar to that of then the army of undeath attack her home, though here it might have been a much, much worse feeling that last time. The place was teeming with the feeling of corruption and undeath, whatever was going down here, wasn't good. Obviously.
  31.
  32. "Quite the uh... place. Makes my skin crawl just stepping foot in here. Reminds me of the army of undead that attacked our home, but worse somehow."
  33.
  34. She'd give a look around before drawing her staff. Tapping then ground and making herself float. She didn't really care to step on the soil, for all she knew it'd corrupt her somehow simply because of the feeling she was getting from the place.
  35.
  36. "Two paths, one seems to be heading towards that big castle, possibly. The other, who knows. Though I'd say whatever is givingoff this dreadful feeling is coming from that castle. Might be more dangerous to go that way, but with my moral's it would be the path I'd take. Maybe stop whatever's leaving this place feeling like a big island of taint."
  37.
  38. That was her opinion, take the dangerous path, possibly encounter whatever was lying in wait for them there and slay it.
  39. (Evi Tatasuki)
  40. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  41.
  42. [16:48] Gabriel seemed to be asleep for most of the ride. The ocean always seemed to put him at ease and make him tired. Feeling the boat dock. Gabriel's eyes slowly opened up. Letting out a yawn and a stretch. Getting out of the boat, he'd look around for the moment. His yawns still escaping his mouth, making it a little hard for him to see as his eyes shut with each one.
  43.
  44. Rolling his head around stretching his neck a bit. Gabriel started to take things more serious. Feeling it already from here. This island was indeed tainted in some shape or form. Suppose Ashera was right about this.
  45.
  46. " Hm..So Ashera what now ? "
  47.
  48. Gabriel asked, drawing his large great sword from his back, resting it on his shoulder awaiting for their command.
  49. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51.
  52. [16:55] Ashera would smell the amount of corruption in the air. She would take a look around the place... This amount of Corruption and disparity. It truly disgusted her...The reports were unfortunately as real as it could get. The victims here would be subjected to necromancy. The smell of rotting flesh had hit very close to home to her.
  53.
  54. Fear not my allies. We are to cleanse the depravity here, putting the undead to their rightful rest, and restoring the lifestream in doing so. Let us not wait any longer to finish this task, lest this Island will grow worse.
  55.
  56. Ashera would slowly attune her emotions with her holy aura once more. And she had slowly felt more obligated to put a stop to this madness. To take a stand against this plague. She would work tirelessly to fulfill that dream.
  57. Ashera would grab the hilt of her blade. And would point towards the large castle towards them.
  58.
  59. "Let us siege the castle before us. And start cleaning up the depravity that awaits us behind closed doors....
  60.
  61. Ashera would say, slowly walking towards the castle gates. Expecting the others to tag along with them.
  62. (Ashera Ixis)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [16:56] "Cleverly deduced, Evi. It would be wise to go north and handle it at it's source, but what if we got rid of everything first so if anything that is big and bad doesn't narrowly destroy or surround us?" she looks at the two dirt trails for a few moments before looking back at her and Ashera.
  66.
  67. "Though, I do think splitting up will regard us five man as weak if we split. So, let's just handle that way and just-"
  68.
  69. She was interrupted, but she agreed wit what they said and simply nodded. With her figure in the air and ready, she starts to follow up north towards the castle while using the torchlight potion on her side a flicker and a tug.
  70.
  71. "Jiuwehu, give us faith."
  72. (Mikiko Heifang)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [16:59] Gabriel Gelmont asks, "Think any of us should wait out side ?"
  76. [17:01] Mikiko Heifang says, "Hell to the no."
  77. [17:05] Mikiko takes a deep sigh as she awaited for the group to start moving. Deep down, she was not ready to go or start anything she couldn't do. With her eyes focusing around the vicinity, she could only assume the very worst. Some one or a few people may die and she would have to accept it sooner or later. She then turned to Evi before parting her lips, "What are our chances of fixing without a scratch?"
  78. (Mikiko Heifang)
  79. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  80.
  81. [17:06] Gabriel Gelmont asks, "Fixing?"
  82. [17:06] Mikiko Heifang asks, "The island?"
  83. [17:06] Gabriel Gelmont asks, "Do I look like a dryad ?"
  84. [17:06] Mikiko Heifang says, "...A little."
  85. [17:07] Gabriel Gelmont says, "Miki, you're out of the gang."
  86. [17:07] Mikiko Heifang says, "-"
  87. [17:07] Mikiko Heifang asks, "Can I recant my statement?"
  88. [17:07] Gabriel Gelmont says, "You can watch the boat. "
  89. [17:07] Mikiko Heifang exclaims, "Hell no! I don't want to die!"
  90. [17:07] Gabriel Gelmont says, "The boat needs protection."
  91. [17:07] {NARRATION} It wasn't a long way down, really. Boots merely dig into the dirt underneath as the group progresses forward, and the path offered is certainly clear enough, and each step took them closer to the towering castle. The fort walls were definitely the strongest thing for miles around, yet upon further inspection, one could notice the stones of varying sizes and shapes, each one unique. From a distance it is uniform grey, however once up close, it's a mosaic of humble rocks, each of them nobody would think anything of were they loose by the roadside. But together, they stood tall, the crown of the landscape, and protector of the taint residing behind.
  92.
  93. A gust of dry wind breezes through the maze of surrounding, abandoned houses they'd encounter along the way, where windows have long shattered in the weakness of their structures and rotting boards. Doors hang on the few threads of their hinges, and groan with pain at every sway to follow.
  94.
  95. All the way until it was finally visible-- two large, gigantic gates leading to the insides of the castle all the while. While guarded by numerous undead, they weren't particularly... closed. No, instead, the doors stood wide open, allowing a trail of hooded, cloaked figures to waddle in and out in the moment. Surprisingly similar in attire, much like members of a cult or so, but... upon sparing a careful glance, one could easily tell that they weren't particularly happy with their conditions. Heads remain bowed as they pass the forces of undeath-- out of fear, rather than respect, but...
  96.
  97. No movements just yet. No sounds. If the mages wished to make their way inside, fighting through appeared to be the only option, to say the least.
  98. [17:07] Mikiko Heifang says, "Let nature protect the damn thing."
  99. [17:11]
  100. {LOAD GAME}
  101.
  102. [17:16] "I really, really, really regret coming here on such short notice. And, why are they coming from the west? This doesn't even seem remotely safe, you know?" she looks to the left and the right, the air was getting more spooky as she got closer with the group. However, not a beat was missing in her step as she made her way towards the fort walls themselves. She made sure to keep it low key, never making much sounds due to her gravity magic and turning the potion of light off.
  103.
  104. Leaning closer towards the group, she simply whispers to keep the look of them away from her person: "How about we go over the fort walls?" she pointed towards the top of the wall and simply blinks at it before continuing, "if we go over that, we can avoid these wandering eyes."
  105.
  106. "The next, we can do is PROBABLY blend in?"
  107. (Mikiko Heifang)
  108. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  109.
  110. [17:18] Taking note of the defenses of the castle they were going to 'siege' she frowned slightly... two of them could sort of fly... but that leaves the rest of them on the ground...
  111.
  112. The gates however were wide open... though the undead guarding them may prove to be a nuisance... and they were here to cleanse the place after all..
  113.
  114. Taking note of the robed people... she wondered if they were the missing islanders.. or servants of whatever was doing this... possibly the former given their body language...
  115.
  116. "I doubt you could lift us all with your magic... and who ever is on the other side could see us.. If not the guards out here... odds are we cut our way through..
  117.
  118. And hope those are the islanders we can free.."
  119. (Anise Ixis)
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  121.
  122. [17:22] The path oddly enough, wasn't all that long nor was it hard to move through. It was mostly clear, like it was travelled often and kept up to make it easier to traverse. Or it might have been cause there wasn't much of anything living to really obstruct the path, she didn't really know.
  123.
  124. Yet, even with all the stench and feeling of death and decay that seemed to be everywhere, she'd press on with the group, until they made it to their destination. Giant stone walls seemed to cover the perimeter of the castle, yet now it was seeming to be more of a fortress than a castle.
  125.
  126. It wasn't hard to spot the cloaked figures moving in and out of the gates, they seemed to not like the place. Visibly moving in a reluctant fear of whatever was about. She'd give a nod to Mikiko though.
  127.
  128. "I say we could probably take a few of the cloaks and sneak our way in, unless we just simply want to slay any undead in our path. Would make it easier so they don't converge on us in some sort of surprise attack when we fight whoever or whatever is behind all of this."
  129.
  130. "Fighting would easily give us away though."
  131. (Evi Tatasuki)
  132. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  133.
  134. [17:23] Gabriel nodded towards Ashera. Following along with her. He did not know what would be inside of the castle, but he knew that this was most likely not going to be easy. Gabriel stopped with the others for the moment. Looking over the castle, noticing that its walls were rather strangely built.
  135.
  136.
  137.
  138. Looking over the abandoned houses. Gabriel thought of the lives that must of lived there at a time. All the pointless deaths. Gabriel shook it off as he continued forward.
  139.
  140. Seeing the gates. Noticing that the hooded cult like figures left the gates in a west fashion. Gabriel stood still for a moment. Listening to his comrades in arms. But most likely would go with what ever Ashera planned. Mattering if it was bad or not.
  141.
  142. He'd walk over towards Miki.. " Hm..I could toss you over the gate! Tell us what's in side.. Don't worry! I can teleport to you and make sure ya don't get exposed. " Gabriel said with a thumbs up.
  143. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  145.
  146. [17:27] "I like the idea of if we were to come where those people go to, we can easily just nab a cloak or maybe find out what is making them sad, maybe?" her gaze then shifted towards Gabirel, moving back before lifting her hands towards them and trying to give the sign of 'no', "No, none of that. Let's just go where they come from and just nab the cloak and maybe free people?"
  147.
  148. Mikiko was not going to literally be tossed. Even being high was enough air for her to follow. Anise was right in the regard that she could not carry people, she wasn't the strongest in the group while everyone was literally made of iron.
  149.
  150. She paused as she considered the option of being tossed, however. Going to the top to see what she could see would warrant that she was spotted and that would end in her demise. The only real option would be to siege the wall or go to the place where the cloaked figures were and nabbing a cloak to blend in, she chose the latter.
  151.
  152. "Let's just go where they came from; Evi is right in all regards that we can not engage in a fight that may end up in a far more worse position."
  153. (Mikiko Heifang)
  154. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  155.
  156. [17:30] Gabriel Gelmont asks, "...Do they have a cloak that wont ruin my hair ?"
  157. [17:34] Ashera would slowly unsheathe her sword, The taint would slowly become more unbearable when she had walked closer. She would have two decisions. Either we fight through, Or we blend in to help find the source of occult. As she would take her blade out. Ready to do what she came to do, And it was siege the gates. And cleanse any remaining undead that she had seen within her path. Her holy light would glimmer brightly, as her strong flow of obligation and commitment would encourage her to take the heavier route.
  158.
  159. Ashera would begin to speak her mind, if she was going to do this. She was going to make sure that they had a heads up. Ashera would purse her lips and speak.
  160.
  161. "We are going to clear every last hint of depravity from this land. I am not leaving any one of the trapped souls unshackled. Do as you must. This is the path that I am going to choose. Despite it being the hardest one to do from the two."
  162.
  163. Ashera would then very quickly begin to take up the pace. She would be able to use whip out her blade. And attempt to barge through the doors of the castle. She wanted them to take notice. She also wanted them to understand that this plague that the necromancers were spreading, will soon end.
  164.
  165. And with a swing of her her sword Ragnell. And would attempt to fight her way in.
  166.
  167. "In the name of Kraus, we will free this land form the shackles of necromancy!"
  168.
  169. She would say, charging in towards the undead armies. Fully ready to take on the adversity that is before her.
  170.
  171.
  172.
  173. (Ashera Ixis)
  174. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  175.
  176. [17:36] Mikiko listened intently on the words that she were saying, and the only thing she can deduce it to is all of us getting killed. Instead of actually being able to just sneak in, she chose the hard mode. Her gaze shifted towards Ashera towards Evi as she brings the palm of her right hand towards her face in a loud smack, so loud that it could potentially alert some people that they were here in the open.
  177.
  178. "Ashera…" she paused as she rested her gaze back at them, "Do you know what you're doing?"
  179.
  180. "We might end up dead, and if we just chose the safer option, we could have easily freed them all by stopping from the west, first...what?"
  181. (Mikiko Heifang)
  182. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  183.
  184. [17:38] Gabriel let out a single sigh.
  185.
  186. "Onward!" He shouted out his sword high in the air as he rushed with Ashera.
  187. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  188. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  189.
  190. [17:40] At the moment her mother began her charge she followed... weapon and shield already drawn... a vibrant blue aura envelopes the young warrior as lightning fuels her muscles... giving her an impressive movement speed... quickly catching up and slowing down to match pace with her mother..
  191.
  192. "By the will of Kraus!"
  193.
  194. She was ready to wade into the tainted creatures and free them from their torments...
  195. (Anise Ixis)
  196. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  197.
  198. [17:40] Mikiko Heifang says, "<<Jihweihu, please haver mercy on me.>>"
  199. [17:43] {NARRATION} "Intruders!"
  200.
  201. The frantic shouts echo loud and wide, and so does the sudden, rushed movement to follow. The surroundings were clear, for most parts, and there wasn't much room to hide, either. The only way to blend along would've been if they already possessed the cult's attire, somehow. Though, not that it mattered-- choices were made, nonetheless.
  202.
  203. Aspera's declaration only brings forth the horde walking corpses, all rushing over to the unit of mages all the while. Hectic scene, to say the least, and the hooded, cloaked ones panic in the moment, as well, running about, attracting even further attention.
  204.
  205. Within moments, the group is surrounded by numerous, lesser undead, likely led by a seemingly powerful, yet just as rotten commander in the middle. Sharp, heavy tendrils of occultic waters practically explode across his back, whipping against the thin air as he'd assume a proper stance, ready to pounce at any moment. The vile, chaotic magic was always present... and it was rather overwhelming, if anything.
  206.
  207. They didn't particularly spare any words, however. Instead, blades were sheathed, and corrupted arts flared about, snarling all the same.
  208.
  209. Fighting their way through was the only option, at this point.
  210. [17:46] "I. Fucking. Told. You."
  211.
  212. The young kitsune closes her eyes and focuses on the darkness that resides deeply in her, letting the flames shroud her before she opened her eyes to a more straighter hue. The once brown hues turn a deep yellow and her hand lifted up to focus on the palm of her hand, that too, went ablaze in darkness.
  213.
  214. She kept herself levitated in the air, waiting to bring them all down with out worrying about how this would end. No time like the present to actively bring down undead people, they smelled bad anyway.
  215. (Mikiko Heifang)
  216. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  217.
  218. [17:50] As they undead surround them the warrior wears a neutral expression... battle thrilled her as always... but the circumstance is what bore the issue.. these people could have been innocents before their corruption... but they must be freed...
  219.
  220. The blue aura around her began to glow with more brilliance as she drew through the newfound crack in the barrier.... soon it will be gone..
  221.
  222. Though it was all internal.. she felt more chip away as she drew... allowing her to draw a small amount more than before...
  223.
  224. She whipped her mace around her hand in a flourish as her steel-grey eyes began to glow from within... a sign of her connection to her star...
  225.
  226. "May your souls be put to rest..."
  227.
  228. Though no other expression of sadness was on her face... a few tears made their way down..
  229.
  230. She had a duty to these people...
  231.
  232.
  233. (Anise Ixis)
  234. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  235.
  236. [17:51] Ashera had, simply ran in ready to assault the fortress. A bit of a reckless decision but she couldn't let the woman run on in alone, so she'd shoot off, flying towards the woman while molten rock would seem to form about her skin.
  237.
  238. "Maybe be a bit more careful next time Ash, now they know we're all here."
  239.
  240. She didn't mind fighting, but she wanted to fight smart and not be reckless, it was to late for that now though, she'd simply ready her magic to strike the enemies that surrounded them as they entered, numerous normal undead and one that seemed to be a bit more powerful than the others.
  241.
  242. The place had it's fair share of defenses it seemed, ones that they were forced to go through now.
  243.
  244. "May the emperor give us strength and allow us to cleanse this land of the corruption that plagues it."
  245. (Evi Tatasuki)
  246. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  247.
  248. [17:51] Gabriel's eyes would widen. Pupils dilatating . Squatting down for a moment, allowing pressure to build in his legs. The ground under him started to give way. A smile coming across his face. As he shot off. Shooting at the hoard of Undead like a bullet. The smile never leaving his face.
  249.
  250. Focusing onto the commander. Gabriel locked with them. Before vanishing. This was not a flash step, this was not some insane case of speed or becoming invisible. All known traces of Gabriel left the battle field if only for a moment. Reappearing next to Ashera.
  251.
  252. " So.. Whats the plan man?..Do we just keep cutting these Undead down or Maybe a plan of some sorts. But up to you boss.?"
  253.
  254. He said with a smile, before vanishing off again and towards the hoard of undead.
  255. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  256. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  257.
  258. [17:55] Mikiko looks at the army of the undead with her tongue sticking out. This wa snot amusing, in fact, this was the exact opposite. This was fundamentally and irrelvacy gross to her and she would even seek to destroy them first before attacking the necromancer themselves.
  259. (Mikiko Heifang)
  260. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  261.
  262. [17:58] Ashera would maintain her stance. As she would give a grimace towards the undead army. This is the adversity that the krausite paladins would have to face. She would bear the burden of the souls before her. And would not rest until that act was done. Ashera would maintain her fomorian stance. And amplify her holy energy to help combat the depravity before her. Before she engaged. She would speak a small prayer.
  263.
  264. "Oh Kraus creator and savior of Agartha may you give us strength to cleanse the undead plague before us. Let us put an end to this madness once and for all. Let us put the bodies of the undead to great rest."
  265.
  266. The Iron paladin of Kraus would finish her small prayer. And would prepare for the worst. She would point her sword at the undead army. And would attune her emotion of empathy once more. As she would attempt to push her holy aura to new limits.
  267.
  268. "Mages. Prioritize your targets to undead skeletons and alternate between them and their controller. Let us show them that thew will of justice is within all of us. ONWARD!"
  269. (Ashera Ixis)
  270. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  271.
  272. [18:01] Undead Commander 2 says, "dwsaa dwa"
  273. [18:03] Mikiko takes a deep huff before she simply gets back into position. This was kind of easy, but it was annoying with a bunch of undead attacking from all areas at the same time. For the love of god, stop it.
  274. (Mikiko Heifang)
  275. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  276.
  277. [18:15] Mikiko was actually shocked with the way the fight ended. The undead was cleared out by the prowess of Evi and herself with their destructive control on the field and the commander of the army was being downed faster than vodka. Mikiko was shocked, looking at Evi with more confusion than ever, her lips parted as she asks: "What...just happened?"
  278. (Mikiko Heifang)
  279. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  280.
  281. [18:16] {NARRATION} Arts swirl about, spreading along the grounds underneath before they slam into forces of undeath all the while. Lesser ones taste the dirt within moments, though the one seemingly leading the charge held his grounds. Sharpened tendrils of occultic waters are tossed about, lashing onto the forms of mages present, yet the damage is only superficial at best.
  282.
  283. Slowly, but surely it withers down. Rotten form giving up, before the body crumples to the grounds underneath-- leaving the gates exposed for them to enter through, yet... it was clear that the undead was no more than a mere guard. If anything, the group made quite some noise through all this.
  284.
  285. Silence takes over yet once again, but the entrance remains eerie, unsettling all the while. One couldn't particularly tell what lay on the other side, not with the darkness that shrouded along, much like the mouth of a blackened cavern.
  286.
  287. Regardless, they were free to proceed without interruptions. For now.
  288. [18:21] Wading into the undead the warrior would become a blur... lightning and cosmic magic letting her weave her way in and out a trail of bodies in her wake....
  289.
  290. The longer she fought the brighter her aura seemed to grow... the harder she hit.. and the more tears she shed...
  291.
  292. A mace wasn't good for mercy killings... bones were shattered... skulls crushed... bodies tossed aside by the impressive strength the girl bore... her shield more of a weapon than a defense... throwing the undead around...
  293.
  294. Finally she saw a gap to the leader of theses undead.... and fired a blast of energy directly at it... if nothing else it may allow an ally to strike if it even only distracted it...
  295.
  296. Then the gap closed and once more bodies began to fall....
  297.
  298. Finally as the last were felled....
  299.
  300. "May you achieve peace."
  301.
  302. She said to the field of corpses... now still...
  303. (Anise Ixis)
  304. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  305.
  306. [18:24] She had spread her magic all about, the very earth shook underneath and erupted with magma, fire covered the area around the gate, lighting the undead on fire as the earth shook them about, impairing their movement and making them more or less unable to move.
  307.
  308. Their main opponent, mere guard or not was able to hold it's ground, yet she would do her best to disable the undead, heating up the rotting corpse with fire and shaking the very foundation below it as well. All the while slinging fire about in large waves as well as waves of earth.
  309.
  310. At times a large arrow of fire would push their opponent back, until finally their opponent fell to the overwhelming force of their magic, falling to the ground and crumpling into the dirt, leaving the world just as the others. Gabriel seemed to land the killing blow though, however he did so.
  311.
  312. "I guess that's it for now, though I bet we'll have quite the warm welcome when we step into this castle. Should all be ready for a fight. Be ready to return more of these walking corpses back to where they belong."
  313. (Evi Tatasuki)
  314. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  315.
  316. [18:25] Whatever happened in the follow events, happened. The commander were defeated and the army of undead spirits collapsed. However, she still didn't think any of this was safe. With a sniff, Mikiko was able to deduce that there was still more danger ahead and if they split right now, it will be to a point of failure. The commander, who was more accustomed to the darkness used water magic, but something in her head told her that the next was just more destructive.
  317.
  318. She took a deep breath, then levitated forward. Mikiko did what she had to do and she did it pretty-damn-well.
  319.
  320. She then looked at Evi for a mere moment before looking towards the group. They all did well in their venture and as such, were more than capable of handling the next thing to follow. They had their own special things, but deep down, Mikiko was feeling the outcast role pretty well. Even though she hated the undead, the way that the occult magic was being used, she could feel more intertwined with that darkness than their holy magic.
  321.
  322. She paused before shaking off those bad ideas and simply went forward, slowly, eye shifted left and right, and even above to make sure that it wasn't going to be another commander to jump down out of no where.
  323.
  324. "May you watch over us..."
  325. (Mikiko Heifang)
  326. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  327.
  328. [18:25] Gabriel rushing into the hoard with his comrades. Slashing away at the few undead who came his way. Though most of them were taken out by the two mages of the group. Miki and Evi. Giving a thumbs up to them as they passed him by. His focus was going to be on the commander.
  329.
  330. Kicking from the ground. Smashing into multiple undead. His great sword cleaving them in half as he made his way closer and closer to the undead commander. Who seem to be sporting what Gabriel would call. A mighty nice hair cut.
  331.
  332. Seeing Anise hit the commander with a might energy burst to the back. Gabriel seen this as his chance. Rushing forward. Gabriel vanished from view. Much like the time before, except this time he was gone for longer. Feeling the undead energy. From the other realm. Gabriel started to toss out fist after fist, energy building up as he continued to move through out the spirit realm.
  333.
  334. Appearing before the Commander of the undead. Gabriel's right arm reeled back. Taking in a deep breath. Gabriel smashed his fist into the chest of the Undead. A bright blue light hit the area. As dozens and dozens of fists came flying out of the energy shroud that surrounded Gabriel .Seems this was what he was doing in the spirit realm.
  335.
  336. The end result was the undead being torn to shreds . Unshackling the soul from the Zoimbie. Gabriel let out a long breath, with it a sigh. The right shoulder of Gabriel was killing him after putting the much effort in.
  337.
  338. " Rest easy.. Guessing this isn't going to be the last this strong. We should be prepare to fight even stronger foes. So whats the call Ashera? "
  339. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  340. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  341.
  342. [18:30] Ashera was confident in this outcome of hers. She would raise her blade, commanding the mages to finish off the skeletons. As they all burned one by one in the fire. She would see that the undead can finally be returned to rest. However, For now? It was her turn to pull her weight as well.
  343.
  344. As she had attempted to attune herself using her emotions to connect to the world around her for a short while. In this state. She would sense the beings around her much more sensitively. She would sense the occulted undead being as disharmonizing as ever, as the wretched sensation would slowly begin do sop as the enemy inches near death.
  345.
  346. Ashera would continue to flash her blade against the undead captain. As every undead that was slain here was returned the balance towards the lifestream. The group did splendid work in regards to cleansing the ecil that had arised here.
  347.
  348. As Ashera had helped defeat the enemy before her. She would use her holy magic to cleanse the depravity from the confines of the castle. Using holy ground to spread around the holy magic, and deal with the darkness much better. The air was still depraved if they had moved forth. But the paladin had cleansed the area around her.
  349.
  350. "May the journey towards the atmos be peacefull. The area is cleansed here. And it is much easier to breathe for now. But there is more trials that await us my friend. Stay aware, and stand your ground."
  351.
  352.
  353.
  354. (Ashera Ixis)
  355. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  356.
  357. [18:34] {NARRATION} The hallway to follow was eerie, to say the least, however their path was quite linear-- or rather, there only one direction to proceed in. With each step they took, the further they ventured, the harder it became to actually see what was across. Barely any light embraced them, slowly but surely nearing the complete absence of it, yet... those soft, albeit uneasy gusts continue to blow down the corridor, aiming to grasp them with their chilly touch, and... somehow, they appear to come from within the fortress.
  358.
  359. It continues on, for a couple more, longer moments before they finally found themselves standing before a single, seemingly locked door. It was smaller, though a faint light of lavender hue could be seen sneaking through the gap underneath.
  360.
  361. No sounds follow. No movements, either as time ticks by, seconds passing away.
  362.
  363. Until they decide their next step, if anything.
  364. [18:35] Anise Ixis says, "Hm..."
  365. [18:38] Mikiko Heifang says, "Well, we can punch it open, or we can unlock it."
  366. [18:38] Gabriel Gelmont exclaims, "Dibs!"
  367. [18:38] Mikiko Heifang says, "Maybe with a key-"
  368. [18:38] Mikiko Heifang says, "."
  369. [18:38] Ashera Ixis says, "I have an Idea..."
  370. [18:38] Anise Ixis says, "Or raw energy... or fire..."
  371. [18:38] Gabriel Gelmont exclaims, "Raw energy punch!"
  372. [18:38] Ashera Ixis says, "Wait."
  373. [18:38] Gabriel Gelmont asks, "Smas- What?"
  374. [18:38] Anise Ixis says, "Have Evi light your hand on fire first..."
  375. [18:38] Gabriel Gelmont says, "...."
  376. [18:38] Mikiko Heifang asks, "Why not manipulate my flames with that energy and PUNCH it down?"
  377. [18:38] Anise Ixis says, "Flaming raw energy punch..."
  378. [18:38] Gabriel Gelmont exclaims, "Flaming raw energy punch smash!"
  379. [18:38] Ashera Ixis says, "Anise you come to the right side near the door with me."
  380. [18:39] Ashera Ixis says, "Gabriel,Mikiko, to the left."
  381. [18:39] Ashera Ixis says, "We are going to cover each side."
  382. [18:39] Mikiko Heifang asks, "Your left or my left?"
  383. [18:40] Evi Tatasuki asks, "Guess I'm standing in the middle then?"
  384. [18:44] Ashera would see that all corners of the area were checked by either party As she would look towards Gabriel, giving a pridefull nod and a smile. Punching is what the guy did best. And she needed this door broken open. But she needed the instructions done.
  385.
  386. "When the door is opened, we approach the area, me and Gabriel will use our shields to block us from impending attack if their was one. Now, on my signal Gabriel, hit that door.
  387.
  388. Ashera would keep count in her head.
  389.
  390.
  391.
  392. Ashera would then give the signal for Gabriel to bash open the door in fron of them.
  393. (Ashera Ixis)
  394. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  395.
  396. [18:44] Mikiko simply shook her head at what was going on. Why do we have to positon ourself when Gabriel could manipulate travel through the realms and just unlock it from the other side? Better yet, why not just let him punch it and be done with it? As fun as it was to combine our energies and magics for a super punch, there was a more professional way, so she thought. "I wonder what -is- beyond the door."
  397. (Mikiko Heifang)
  398. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  399.
  400. [18:45] She readies herself... her own shield ready to protect the others behind the pair if anything should pass them... both a physical shield.. and one formed from energy....
  401.
  402. She awaits for the noise...
  403. (Anise Ixis)
  404. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  405.
  406. [18:47] She didn't have a 'shield' like the others did, but in her own way she'd give herself some protection, conjuring up a wall of earth in front of her, one that was a few feet taller than she, in case any magic were to come flying through the door at them, or some kind of trap.
  407. (Evi Tatasuki)
  408. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  409.
  410. [18:49] Gabriel smiled. Cracking his knuckles. He wondered how strong the door was. But he doubted that it would be able to hold up.
  411.
  412. " Alright! One Fire Raw energy punch coming up!" Gabriel shouted out as he embued his hand with energy. Though might be some lack of fire, depending on if anyone put some on it. Still, he'd smash into the door. Busting it down.
  413. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  414. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  415.
  416. [18:51] Evi lights Gabriels hand on fire.
  417. (Evi Tatasuki)
  418. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  419.
  420. [18:53] Mikiko the door was punched and her ears flickered as they were sensitive to the sounds of things being bashed in. She quickly covered her ears to the best of her ability and took a sudden step back to let the dust settle. It was really a bad idea, and she would've opted to take the actual route to just open the door with a key. "I hate loud noises...jeez."
  421. (Mikiko Heifang)
  422. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  423.
  424. [18:57] {NARRATION} A louder thud echoes through the corridor, and the door is effortlessly smashed over to the side-- and though they didn't meet any foe or so, but quietness wasn't what welcomed them, either. A faint, whistling sound finds its way out, only to be followed by the way horrid, toxic gases of greenish hue practically explode outwards in their direction, spreading along within moments, aiming to engulf the group whole.
  425.
  426. Given the noise caused by the entrance outside, as well as all the ruckus they made during the fights, it was only natural for ones to reside within the fort to be alerted, and they responded in kind. Traps were set, silently waiting for the group of mages.
  427.
  428. As it washes over, aiming to shroud them whole, the unit doesn't particularly have a lot of time to save each other, and themselves all the same. They'd need to react quickly-- otherwise, if inhaled, the noxious presence is sure to leave its mark behind.
  429. [19:01] Gabriel noticed the gas right away. His holy shield quickly coming around him. Attempting to block any of the poison gas coming his way. Placing his hand to his mouth, a holy earth kind of make shift gas mask would get formed .
  430.
  431. " Really hope this stuff does not mess with my hair.. You all alright? "
  432. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  433. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  434.
  435. [19:04] Ashera knew that something like this would have happened. Ashera had already have a shield of light around her. Ashera would surround the unshielded mages with her holy water Sanctuary. The bubble would slowly filter out any depravtity or damage. Slowly defending them from the damage. The act should work for the both of them, And they should be able to breathe freely.
  436.
  437. "There...Is everyone else all right?
  438.
  439. Ashera would say, Looking at everyone fully shielded up.
  440. (Ashera Ixis)
  441. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  442.
  443. [19:05] There were no enemies, but there was something particularly dangerous that came from beyond the door. A green gas that looked and probably smelled horrid, not only that whatever it was, was meant to do harm. She didn't really have much to send the gas away from her, like wind magic or anything of the sort.
  444.
  445. She was more or less helpless at the moment, anything that she could do would involve cutting off her airflow entirely, which wouldn't bode well with her organs the way they were. Partially fixed but doing something that reckless would only cause damage.
  446.
  447. She'd simply hope that those around could assist her, she used her magic for attacking mostly after all, not defense or protection. That wasn't how she worked.
  448.
  449. "Of course they'd set some kind of trap, maybe bursting in wasn't the best of ideas..."
  450. (Evi Tatasuki)
  451. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  452.
  453. [19:05] Upon hearing the gas, the little kitsune quickly utilizes the best she got at the very moment. Seeing that it was a gas, the only way to handle it was to inhale her breathing long enough for her to do the following actions:
  454.
  455. First, she took off the cloak and ripped it in enough pieces to cover her mouth and nose in double time. Wrapping it around her head and tucking the strands into her mithril armor. Since she was no longer breathing the gas directly, then perhaps the effects would mean nothing to her until very later.
  456.
  457. Or, well, it would've been a good idea but the bubble that wrapped around her let her breathe just as freely.
  458.
  459. (Mikiko Heifang)
  460. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  461.
  462. [19:05] As soon as the door was broken and the gas was bursting forth a blue shield of energy formed around her body hopefully deflecting the gas.... she was prepared to defend the others from a physical attack... she had nothing that could help here...
  463.
  464. Instead she prepared herself to grab Evi and dash back the way they came with holy magic should she prove unable to defend herself from the gas...
  465. (Anise Ixis)
  466. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  467.
  468. [19:14] Mikiko shifted her gaze to the left and right, making sure that everyone was solid and okay. It appears as though no one was truly injured, and as such, she was able to calm herself as she unwrapped her now ripped cloak from her person. "Well, this is useless," she says as she tossed it to the shield of the bubble to be disposed of later.
  469. (Mikiko Heifang)
  470. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  471.
  472. [19:22] Mikiko looks to the left and right for a few seconds. It was quiet, too quiet, even. She never expected that a castle of this size was so quiet and would have life, but I guess she was wrong. Very wrong, even. With her gaze focusing back at the group, she sighs before her lips parted: "So, what do we do after this is all over?"
  473. (Mikiko Heifang)
  474. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  475.
  476. [19:30] {NARRATION} The mask of Holy Ground was more than enough to block out the gases present-- as well as filter any hint of toxin that does manage to make its way in. Meanwhile, as the righteous waters spread about, Ashera somehow managed to muster up enough energy to cover up, and defend the remaining mages in the abrupt moment. The gases soon clear up, further expanding, before eventually dissipating into the thin air, however...
  477.
  478. "My, my..."
  479.
  480. The words are soft, really, and the voice behind even more-so. Small and slow steps brush against carpets underneath as a single figure makes its way closer. Amused, darkened hues gaze about, drifting between each of the mages present, and the longer, lavender locks gracefully fall over her shoulders all the while, framing those delicate features of snow hue just perfectly. Accompanied by the quieter scent of lilac, an aura matching the colors of her hair lingers about her form, likely the source of light they witnessed earlier.
  481.
  482. As the girl comes to a halt, and tilts her head over to the side at the crowd present, she'd only blink a couple different times, curl of lips widening all the same. One rather young-- not any older than Mikiko herself, even, and yet... something lingered about her. Sweet, and yet quite a chaotic sensation-- one that creeps down the spine of those present, like a careful spider leaving a trail of silk.
  483.
  484. "An amusing bunch, indeed... and to think that you came to hunt down master?"
  485.
  486. Hummed outwards, and only a bit of giggle follows suit, before he'd shift her weight from one foot to another, allowing occultic flames to practically explode outwards, along her form. As the girl's smile widens even further, it only brings forth the same, unsettling feeling to the air.
  487.
  488. "...rude, too. Caused so much harm already... killed so many of the... slaves. But, but, but... we're the nice ones, are we not? If that's what you wish, your death shall be peaceful... and you aren't going to harm him. You aren't going stray anywhere near him. Not when I'm around-- never. So leave this very instant, or die, alright?"
  489. [19:34] "To be fair, I did not want to get anyone else involved in this, but some people don't want to listen." she looked at Ashera before settling the gaze back on the woman in front of the group. Her index and thumb on her right were already rubbing together to release some of the kinetic energy to brighten the area a bit more than it already was.
  490.
  491. "Regardless, how about we handle it the easy way and we simply skip this little thing and go forth to handle what we came here for, yeah?" she asks with a smile appearing upon her gestures, her occult energy wasn't happy with what she was feeling and seeing and the aura was biting towards their direction, wanting to feed, "I would hate to make all of this messy."
  492.
  493. She wasn't ready to actually fight, but she did do what she needed to do in order to handle this situation in front. Even though she was all most the same age, it was evident that she wasn't here to drink some tea and settle down for chatter, however, Mikiko had to double check:
  494.
  495. "Well?"
  496. (Mikiko Heifang)
  497. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  498.
  499. [19:34] Ashera Ixis says, "Pussy ass student"
  500. [19:35] Mikiko Heifang says, "fat-tittied-ni-"
  501. [19:39] Gabriel smirked. Seemed that his filter of holy ground worked out in the end. Though not always one to think quick on his feet, when he need to it seemed to go well.
  502.
  503. Raising an eyebrow as he heard a voice. Hearing the steps, it seemed to have been some one small or at least light in weight. But seeing the figure.. Gabriel tilted his head. A small girl ? He seemed some what confused. But at the same time. He could feel the occult coming off of them, something fierce. The smell coming from her reminded him a bit of Sian, which was odd.
  504.
  505. Feeling more of her occult come forth as she switched stance. Gabriel stood tall. Allowing his holy aura slightly merge with his earth. Covering himself over.
  506.
  507.
  508.
  509. " Hm? I'm not sure who this he is child. Be I'm assuming they are the one who corrupted you. Plus I'm not sure my paladin friend here would take kindly to leaving. I as well.. Will not be. " Gabriel said putting his guard up.
  510. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  511. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  512.
  513. [19:40] The warriors lip would want to curl slightly...
  514.
  515. Beautiful or not... she served whoever did this to these people... and she was threatening them..? Commanding them..? She had no right... contributing to such evil...
  516.
  517. Her aura would grow again... the anger she was beginning to feel causing her to draw even more power... twinkling motes of starlight would begin emitting from her... drawing what her star could offer....
  518.
  519. Her feet seem to slide against the floor as she readies herself for combat... she didn't see any form of diplomacy working here...
  520.
  521. She waits for the word....
  522. (Anise Ixis)
  523. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  524.
  525. [19:41] Mikiko Heifang says, "ooc "
  526. [19:42] The gas would soon dissipate, leaving them free to breathe without assistance, which was quite nice. She didn't wish for the others to wear themselves out fully trying to help her stay uninjured and alive, she had to pull her weight somewhere, though she would offer a thank.
  527.
  528. "Appreciate it Ash, most of what I could have done is block off any airflow to my lungs and with how my organs already are, that would have ended badly."
  529.
  530. She'd stop talking as soon as she heard a voice ring out, one that belonged to a girl, their next opponent most likely. Referred to whoever was at the heart of all this as their 'master'. Their entire presence was unsettling and so was the occult that they let out in what seemed to be a torrent of flame.
  531.
  532. "Seems like she mans business, though I don't plan on leaving, fought worse than a girl with occult magic, much worse."
  533.
  534. She'd raise her staff towards the girl, a ball of fire forming at the end of it. She was raring to fight, to cleanse more of this place. That's how she was going to pull her weight, striking down their enemies. That was her area of expertise.
  535. (Evi Tatasuki)
  536. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  537.
  538. [19:47] Ashera would be quite irritated at the woman before her. She could sense the absolute discord coming from the woman herself. She would see that this is the very people that were causing, the problem. The very necromancers that were causing these Slaves to be controlled. Allowing them to never journey to the afterlife. She had even attempted to gas them out.
  539.
  540. Ashera would have a feeling of disgust from the womans presence. She would take a look at everyone around her. She would not have any of her threats bother her. To her they were as hallow as the lady's heart itself. Ashera would glare daggers of anger at the woman. As she would grip her hilt. She would feel the chaotic energy emanate from them. She will not back down. Not one bit.
  541.
  542. "Whilst this plague and corruption still remains here. Whilst your "Master wields innocent lives as puppets, shackled from their freedom, only to be used as slaves? When he damages the lifestream with his depraved arts? No. We will NOT leave, we will NOT falter.. And more important of all.."
  543.
  544. Ashera would radiate her holy aura. The feeling of obligation. The feeling of facing of against any trial by any means necessary to bring peace here. It welled up inside of Ashera. She was determined to cleanse this land. And that was what she was going to do.
  545.
  546. "We will NOT yield."
  547.
  548. Ashera would draw her blade once more. Prepared for the adversity before her. As long as the group is ready. She was more than able to fight head on.
  549. (Ashera Ixis)
  550. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  551.
  552. [19:50] {NARRATION} "Corrupted? No... master gave me the world, and more. Now, hush... suppose we're done with warnings, and such. I'll put an end to this..."
  553.
  554. It's spoken with just the quietest of chuckles, and just as idly would the girl lift her arm upwards, a soft, little hum escaping all the while. No words follow, really, and the silence lingers on for perhaps a bit too long, curious hues still drifting between the ones present, until--
  555.
  556. --another, larger explosion of Arcane... yet, the energies that tug along are utterly chaotic all the while, aiming to slam into the ones present as those corrupted flames swirl about, darker than before. Occultic energies only clash with that of the exorcist's. Even then, there's a smile upon the features of this one.
  557.
  558. With each step taken onward, it's only bloodlust which laces those eyes of hers-- and every blow to follow carries the intention to hurt. To maim. To kill.
  559.

  579. {LOAD GAME}
  580.
  581. [20:35] Their opponent was quite the tough one, a lot more formidable for one girl, one that was enough to push her back sveral times. In the end despite her being, less help than she wanted they'd pull off the win, either killing the girl outright of sending her off packing.
  582.
  583. She'd be on a knee for a moment, clearly injured in some way, but not enough of an injury to keep the girl down. She'd help herself up with her staff and be ready to go, though she was in pain all the while. What she would give to have some form of recovery magic right now.
  584.
  585. She'd have to deal with it for now though, she knew this wasn't the end of their journey through the castle, they had more to go. She wasn't going to let her injuries stop her here.
  586.
  587. "Good job all, we managed to pull through this one."
  588.
  589. There most likely were injuries with the others of the group, but most likely not as severe as somehad taken.
  590. (Evi Tatasuki)
  591. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  592.
  593. [20:41] She was expecting her to be stronger than the undead at the gate... but she was even more powerful than expected.... giving the five of them trouble... and none of them were weak by any means...
  594.
  595. The advantage swaying back and forth between the two sides... the forces of darkness and chaos were strong... so strong... and it was up to them to bring light to this darkness...
  596.
  597. Finally things began to sway for the last time... thankfully in their favor... everyone going in one last ditch attempt to bring her down... some of her allies fell and got back up... everyone at one point or another catching the ground... only to return to the fight..
  598.
  599. Finally in one last clash again Gabriel downs the foe with the final blow...
  600.
  601. If this was how strong the servant was... how strong was the master..?
  602.
  603. "We should be on our toes for her master "
  604. (Anise Ixis)
  605. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  606.
  607. [20:42] Those flames, they burn hotter than anything I could ever see. Not only that, she can manipulate the gravity better than I could ever do - and she can use Zeriel's ability? Sheesh...
  608.
  609. The battle was no easy feat for any of them. If they were alone facing this monster it would most definitely end with them on the ground with ease. Even with the combination of multiple people there, it was barely even enough to bring Hestia down without a little bit more effort and planning.
  610.
  611. When the battle started, she heat up the air around them to make them slow down and think, which was more than good enough for any of the two holy users to use their Marble Grasp first. She then followed suit with her entire repitrore of techniques to bring them down with the aid of everyone else. All that energy at once would've brought an average person down to the ground without even breathing.
  612.
  613. However, she was different. This person was full on capable of sustaining that damage and going the extra distance in returning the same amount of abuse that was put out. Countless times were the people brought away due to the magical hole of gravity she formed within the flames, and multiple times did everyone get downed to the ground.
  614.
  615. However, that was not going to be enough for them to stay down. Huangzhou wasn't a push over settlement, it was evident when they all got right back up and strategized how to bring it all together. However, not without causalities. Most people had injuries that some might say was -too- much to handle. Bruised and beaten, she only had only one thing to do.
  616.
  617. With her eyes gold and the pupil being a straight line, she focuses the shadow flame magic into the hand of Gabriel who was ready to punch the body of Hestia either out of existence, or punch her very soul out of it. When he landed that fatal blow, the dark flames ruptured around the being from the inside out, designating them to nothing butdust and ash afterwards. With them down, Mikiko found her way to the floor and only remembered that one technique that utilized the force of the arcane itself.
  618.
  619. Multiple times have she seen that same technique, she felt something similar when it came to Zeriel himself. The way he was using it against Zendrick in the artic north was prominent and useful in ending the battle. However, the opposite of his was more sinister than before. For the first time, she could understand that the Chaotic tendencies of them was full in effect. Now, the young Kitsune was interested.
  620. (Mikiko Heifang)
  621. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  622.
  623. [20:52] Ashera would have been fallen on one knee, weakened.. She would have to find another way...She would have to continue and march on against the grasp of adversity...If she wanted to cleanse the depravity here. She would have to work together. Everyone was disorganized. They needed to guide the way through. She would remove this evil at all costs. And she means it.
  624.
  625. "We have to hold her back! Everyone. Attack her on all fronts! Slow her down! And take advantage of her Weak points! Mikiko! Shower her with blinding flames, Gabriel. Lets up the ante with our earth techniques! Evi and Anise? Pressure her down with your abilities!"
  626.
  627. Ashera would yell. As all her allies before her would start to attack her, this time more synchronized than the last. She would see that she and her allies were all putting everything on the line for this...So she would too.
  628.
  629. Ashera would huff, heavily. As the iron paladinwould move towards her enemy, hitting her with her blade. Ragnell. This was one of the hardest Trials that she had to experience. Ashera would for a split second see the dream of the island, cleansed and free from corruption. And would charge continuing to hit and weaken her. So that Gabriel her off with one final blow. Her holy light has done the work. It was time for Gabriel to finish up what he had started.
  630.
  631. "In the name of Kraus! LETS PUT AN END TO THIS!"
  632.
  633. She would scream seeing Gabriel charge up and use his special technique...
  634. (Ashera Ixis)
  635. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  636.
  637. [20:56] Gabriel went into the fight some what cocky. Though not something he usually did. It was rather that it was a small girl. He did figure out this was a grave mistake. As the clash happened. Gabriel felt it. Something he had not felt since his childhood. An overwhelming force of occult power. The mans eyes would light up. Grabbing a hold of the hilt of his blade tight. The ground shook under him. Feeling shadow flame cast over him. Gabriel quickly cast his holy and earth magic. Creating a powerful shield around him.
  638.
  639. Wincing as even with this protective barrier. He could feel the occult and heat coming from the flames. " We need a plan! Now!" Gabriel shouted out. His right arm started to glow bright with holy magic, earth slowly forming around it. Reeling his arm back. Throwing it forward, the mixture would collide with the young girl. Holding her in place for his allies to do some work.
  640.
  641. Rushing from the fire, knowing he could not stay there. Gabriel once clear of the flames looked to see her. Watching her movements closely. Trying to figure out what she would do next. But this would last a short while. As Gabriel started to feel himself getting sucked in. Rappidly. This was the same feeling he got from sparring against Koume. Not taking a chance, he'd sprint away from it. Getting as far away as possible.
  642.
  643. Suddenly. Gabriel vanished from view, entering the spirit realm. Still feeling the girls malice from even there. He'd attempt to do as he did before, stock piling energy punches one ontop of another. A moment later. Gabriel would reappear. His right arm glowing bright blue. " This is it for yo-" Just as Gabriel was about to connect. He felt a strange sensation run up his arm. Falling back Gabriel would grab his arm in pain. Looking down it. Wondering what she had done. It felt brittle as if it was to fall off at anymoment. But at least his hair was fine.
  644.
  645. "You!..I! AH!"
  646.
  647. Something strange was happening to Gabriel. As he seemed to phase in and out of this realm and into the spirit realm. The same feeling he had gotten oh so many times before when he was stuck in a hard spot. Dizzy? Was that the right word for it. Maybe a fuzzy feeling in his head. But this time was different. He had trained himself to not lose control in such moments. For Gabriel every time he went into the spirit realm, he'd end up in the same box like place. All white with nothing but his Grandfather there. This time the old man had his right hand held out. Gabriel would grasp it and with this.
  648.
  649. Gabriels body would morph, growing larger and almost a foot in height, the muscle on the man was clear as day. It was as if a different person stood before them all. As his aura changed completely . The right hand of Gabriel started to glow even a deeper blue then before, becoming a teal after a short moment and dense. Though his left arm was still rotten his right arm was still in full use! Feeling the shadow fire embue onto him.
  650. Gabriel would give Miki a nod before vanishing. Appearing before Hestia faster then before. The raw energ that laid in his palm was far greater then all of the punches he had combined to defeat the commander earlier. He'd toss it infront of himself. Before catching it and smashing it in his own fist.
  651.
  652. Shadowflame Spirit Smash!
  653.
  654. Gabriel shouted at the top of his lungs. The ground ripped a part at the impact of the blow. Hitting Hestia, picking her off her feet with ease, she'd fly straight into the nearby wall. Smashing it as well..
  655. Gabriel stood tall, huffing and puffing. Before returning to his normal size. Grabbing a hold of his arm.
  656.

  669. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  670.
  671. [21:09] {NARRATION} With Arcane arts being tossed about, accompanied by those corrupted flares all the same, the fight was rough, to say the least-- chaotic, even. Even if the lavender haired one managed to overpower them at first, to push them around, slowly but surely the group managed to grasp an upper hand. With each retaliation, with each step she took back, the girls cheery and calm demeanor would continue to deteriorate.
  672.
  673. She'd scream, she'd shout, hurl insults at them with each burst of Arcane to follow-- lifestream in itself twists about her form, sending forth that disturbing, utterly horrifying sensation in the moment
  674.
  675. ...and yet, slowly but surely, she found herself weakened. Defenses crumbling down as Ashera landed blows after blows, sending her crashing. Backed into a corner, with nowhere to go-- little escape as Gabriel charged up his final blow, blitzing in her direction--
  676.
  677. --it's a laugh which echoes across, accompanied by loud, incoherent shouts regarding revenge, as well as her superior before the assault connects, and occultic flames overpower her own-- engulfing her whole until the Chaos magus' body is hurled over to one of the walls, shattering the bones along her back almost immediately.
  678.
  679. Victory is achieved, and even as the seemingly lifeless body of tainted magus lies buried under the ruble, it didn't come without a cost. Amidst the battle, chaotic energies would snap at Gabriel's arm, accompanied by the occultic plague, draining the life force within, as well as leaving it in a twisted, disturbing condition-- as if almost sucked dry.
  680.
  681. Though Mikiko and Evi managed to avoid a fate as grievous, they were by no means fortunate. Somewhere in-between, an occultic palm finds itself pressed against the throat of the Tatasuki, and while no flares follow suit, temperature would be raised abruptly-- enough leave an imprint along the skin there, a burning, searing sensation all the while.
  682.
  683. Mikiko got a taste of her own magic, however. A larger, powerful blast of Shadowflame surges onward, practically slamming into the girl's abdomen all the same-- even the armor present is somewhat charred as flames, though diminished, managed to seep in. If anything, the Kitsune would be left with numerous burns, pulsating with tainted, chaotic mana at all the time-- nothing severe, but definitely not an injury that'd heal within weeks, or even months.
  684.
  685. Regardless, they couldn't particularly afford to sit about. Not when they stood within the enemy's lair...
  686.
  687. The path remains linear. Yet another corridor embraces within blackness-- for them to trudge onward. To find out what lies up ahead.
  688. [21:11] Anise Ixis says, "Now to find her... /master/...."
  689. [21:11] Gabriel Gelmont says, "...Anyone got like a bandaid.."
  690. [21:11] Ashera Ixis says, "We need...."
  691. [21:11] Gabriel Gelmont says, "Maybe a sling.."
  692. [21:11] Ashera Ixis says, "To finish what we started...."
  693. [21:11] Mikiko Heifang says, "..."
  694. [21:12] Anise Ixis says, "I packed this..? Will this work Gabriel..? Tear it up however you need."
  695. [21:13] Mikiko Heifang says, "<<Zeriel is going to kill me for coming back injured, and to think I always told him to come back safe...dammit.>>"
  696. [21:15] Gabriel nodded, taking a hold of the kimono. Gabriel wondered how he was going to rip this a part with on good arm..and he always wondered why no one helped him. Shrugging, a slight wince as he did it with both shoulders on reflex.
  697.
  698. Gabriel took the clothe, ripping it slowly a part, before making him a sling, placing his arm into it. After he'd grab his sword by the hilt. Swinging it over his shoulder with a slight sigh.
  699. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  700. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  701.
  702. [21:17] {NARRATION} Among the rubble, perhaps they could notice one thing; a single pendant laying about, embraced within just the softest embers all the while. It pulsates with strong, fiery mana.
  703. [21:18] Mikiko would contemplate if it was wise to keep going, but she was going to do it anyway. Even though she was damaged with second degree burns, Mikiko was brave enough to just keep on going despite the horrible situation she was in now. Not only was she bruised with ash going down their person, but Mikiko was also feeling very dizzy from all these fights. With the commix of the smell of the undead, the shitty-scent of corruption, and the inhumane flames, she couldn't even think to keep on going. However, her eyes saw an amulet and she went to grab it.
  704. (Mikiko Heifang)
  705. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  706.
  707. [21:20] She'd soon notice the rather, burning sensation about her throat, she wouldn't be able to see it, but she could feel what was there, a hand shaped prints across her throat that seemed to be a rather large burn, something she didn't notice amidst the battle. Regardless of treatment it would probably leave a nasty scar, but she'd deal with all that later.
  708.
  709. For now she'd gaze down the hall, they still had more to go, things to finish. They had already stormed the castle, killing numerous undead and a rather tough guard beforehand and now a girl that was most likely another pawn of the one she called her 'master'. A rather cruel fate, being worked against your will.
  710.
  711. "Let's move on, best to not waste time here."
  712.
  713. She'd keep her statement short and sweet, it hurt to really even move her mouth without the burning feeling over her throat getting worse. It was best for her not to talk to much, until she got some kind of treatment for it.
  714. (Evi Tatasuki)
  715. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  716.
  717. [21:26] Ashera would walk with her blade in hand. She was ready for what was to come. She would slowly tend to gabriels wound first. As she would try and heal the pain with holy magic. It would cause Gabriel quite a bit of pain. But he can muscle through it.
  718.
  719. Ashera would very carefully tread forward. As she would Warn everyone in advance. And would take a look at everyone condition before she would tread forward. Ashera would encase her body in her holy shields, And would do the same for Evi and Mikiko as well. She would slowly Cleanse the area the chaotic occultist inhabited as the holy magic would remove any trace of depravity as well.
  720.
  721. The Iron paladin would instruct the others as follows. They are going to venture forward.
  722.
  723. "Alrighty. Everyone who can tread forward? Move with your shields UP! And watch your six!" The paladin would speak, as she would slowly lead the troupe towards the end of the corridor.
  724.
  725. "Alright everyone...Watch out. We may not be AS lucky as we were this time. We must continue our fight. And cleanse the rest of the plague that resides here. We are almost there!"
  726.
  727. Ashera would say. As she would be puffing heavily. The last battle tired her out. But she was going to continue protecting her allies...And freeing the lost spirits. It is time to put an end to this cycle of depravity. And this was what she was going to do.
  728. (Ashera Ixis)
  729. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  730.
  731. [21:33] {NARRATION} The corridor to follow remains as quiet as the one they left in their wake. And just as eerie, as well. No sounds follow, barring that of their own footsteps against grounds underneath, though with each moment to follow, perhaps they could feel the lightness in the air, though it was nothing drastic, to say the least.
  732.
  733. Quiet, slow, all the way until the group comes across yet another, peculiar sight all the while. Large, netted holes lie all over the area before them-- whether it be on the walls, or the ceiling, for that matter. Though nothing in particular is visible on the other side of such gaps-- barring the utter blackness.
  734.
  735. Even then, the path remained linear, and no sign of any movements whatsoever. On the other side of the hallway, stood a single door. However this time around, it was slightly ajar, allowing those cold, soft breezes to whistle past-- the source of all those gusts they felt.
  736. [21:33] Gabriel Gelmont says, "...Some one else can open it this time."
  737. [21:34] Anise Ixis says, "We shouldnt just walk into this.."
  738. [21:34] Ashera Ixis says, "Lets approach carefull."
  739. [21:34] Evi Tatasuki says, "I can send a large rock flying through it if you want."
  740. [21:34] Gabriel looked to his rotten arm..
  741.
  742. " Agreed"
  743. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  744. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  745.
  746. [21:34] Ashera Ixis says, "No, no."
  747. [21:35] Ashera Ixis says, "Ill walk through."
  748. [21:35] Gabriel Gelmont asks, "How about..anyone here stealthy ?"
  749. [21:35] Anise Ixis asks, "Whar?"
  750. [21:35] Gabriel Gelmont says, "...I could always eh..just teleport in and out. "
  751. [21:35] Ashera Ixis says, "Not with your arm like that."
  752. [21:35] Ashera Ixis says, "Im not embracing that risk."
  753. [21:35] Gabriel Gelmont exclaims, "It's fine!"
  754. [21:35] Evi Tatasuki says, "I tried stealth earlier but someone ran in and assaulted the pkace."
  755. [21:35] Winced from his arm not being fine
  756. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  757. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  758.
  759. [21:36] Ashera Ixis says, "And in doing so."
  760. [21:36] Ashera Ixis says, "Cleansed an area and freed spirits."
  761. [21:36] Anise Ixis says, "It looks like an avocado... that had sex with an older avocado.."
  762. [21:36] "This has to be it," she says weakly, hold on to the wall to keep her going with the tiredness that she was feeling, "If we don't know any better, this one must be a mage who uses ice magic or something close to it. If we're not careful, this can be it."
  763.
  764. She looks at everyone involved before nodding at the large rock idea, and the teleport in and out idea; both of them were good by she took the primary option of it. She then laughed at the notion of Evi bringing up how it all happened, and she was truly amused.
  765.
  766. "And in doing so, Gabriel lost an arm and we have two injuries. This isn't good; this is not okay. Let's try Evi's approach."
  767. (Mikiko Heifang)
  768. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  769.
  770. [21:36] Evi Tatasuki says, "But also, let this entire place no we were here, putting us in more danger."
  771. [21:39] Ashera would look towards the door. She would look towards Evi, as before she would think about opening it. She would ask.
  772.
  773. "Alright Evi. What do you think we should do Evi? I do not think throwing a rock would be effective...."
  774. (Ashera Ixis)
  775. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  776.
  777. [21:40] Looking to her mother as if she were a bit crazy.... she nods nonetheless... She didn't like the idea of her mother just walking through this... but.. she was in command at the moment..
  778.
  779. Nonetheless she maintains a wide open connection to her star... ready to rocket forward and move her mother from danger if need be...
  780. (Anise Ixis)
  781. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  782.
  783. [21:41] "If we're moving stealthily and cautiously for once, I won't toss a boulder through the door, next time we should start with stealth though rather than alerting everyone in our general vicinity to our presence."
  784.
  785. That was more or less reckless and did lead to them having one formidable opponent that left several of them injured. She was all for venturing out, but not recklessly. They were here to cleanse the place, not make fancy entrances.
  786.
  787. "So, treading carefully is what we will do, no matter how many undead may lie between us and their master, besides, they are kept up by the master, we take them down, they all wither, right?"
  788.
  789. She wasn't to knowledgeable on how necromancy worked, but if you killed something, the things associated with it that were attached, died. At least that's how she saw it, especially when they were directly tethered to said thing.
  790. (Evi Tatasuki)
  791. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  792.
  793. [21:43] Ashera Ixis says, "Alright.."
  794. [21:43] Ashera Ixis says, "On your call."
  795. [21:43] Evi Tatasuki says, "Might as well go now if we're all ready."
  796. [21:43] Ashera Ixis says, "Yep."
  797. [21:43] Mikiko Heifang says, "I'm...ready."
  798. [21:43] Evi Tatasuki says, "Keep defenses up if ya got em, support those who don't."
  799. [21:44] Gabriel Gelmont says, "..I'm ready."
  800. [21:44] Anise Ixis says, "Same."
  801. [21:46] Gabriel placed his holy shield over him, hardening his body as well. Reading himself.
  802. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  803. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  804.
  805. [21:47] Before she walks through a shield of blue energy forms around her... her magic wasn't like her mothers... she was unable to shield others the same way...
  806.
  807. As she steps through she holds her literal shield in a defensive position in front of her.
  808.
  809.
  810. (Anise Ixis)
  811. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  812.
  813. [21:48] She'd carefully head through the door, surrounding herself with earth as some form of defense, but such was not full proof if it came to certain threats like gasses. She would need shielded again by others if injury was to be prevented by such.
  814. (Evi Tatasuki)
  815. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  816.
  817. [21:48] Mikiko passes through, utilizing the bubble of holy water to avoid any and all danger in the form of gasses.
  818. (Mikiko Heifang)
  819. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  820.
  821. [21:50] Ashera would slowly approach. As she would be sure to bubble her mage allies once more to make sure that the would not be in danger. She would reapply her holy barrier. And would slowly walk carefully with the two nearby...
  822.
  823. Ashera would stand in her fomorian stance. And be prepared for any evil that is to come her way. This will be quite the interesting precdicament that they were in. Hopefully Ashera's utility would help her out of those situations...
  824. (Ashera Ixis)
  825. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  826. [21:56] Mikiko slowly starts to rub her eyes in an act to show that she was tired. She was missing the homeland, it was better there. However, this experince has showed her something of importance. There is chaos magi that existed; zeriel was right in every regard about them. However, it needed to come to an end. In the worst way possible, this may be a time to pray, for she might never make it at all.
  827. (Mikiko Heifang)
  828. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  829. [22:03] {NARRATION} Perhaps tossing a boulder to check as to what was going on-- or simply blocking those holes with the use of Earth magic would've worked better. Walking in was reckless, even with proper defenses, and yet...
  830.
  831. ...it wasn't poison which shot outwards this time around. Instead, swift, abrupt jets of heated steam found themselves exploding outwards all the while. Within an instant, they aim to embrace along, much sharper-- more searing than any single magus could ever manage to produce, most likely. Though Gabriel's Holy Earth, as well as Evi's attempts on a similar armor do keep them away from any significant damage, such was not the case for ones embraced within waters in the moment.
  832.
  833. The blazing vapor pierces through, aiming to burn, to hurt, to maim-- and while Ashera was fortunate enough to find herself on the other side with only faint, superficial burns, Mikiko wasn't as lucky. Perhaps because of the injuries she suffered earlier on, however... the blistering comes into contact with the Kitsune, shrouding about her back, somewhat scorching through the armor all the same-- damage similar to what the Chaos Magus inflicted early on, yet nothing far too grievous, at the very least. Her body would be able to heal, even if it takes quite some time-- months, or nearly an year.
  834.
  835. As for Anise; while her shield worked better than the holy waters, it wasn't as absolute of a defense-- she'd be left with numerous, harsher burns as well... though unlike Mikiko's, hers wouldn't last for more than a couple days, or perhaps weeks (-10 vit, but just for the event. You'll have to /powerdown vit 10 for the next EC battle, or so.)
  836.
  837. Some uninjured, while other snot as lucky... at the end of the day, the group did manage to get on the other side of the hallway, now standing before the door in itself. No movements, still, even as steam continues to burst forth in their wake...
  838.
  839. ...the entrance remains ajar, and soft, peculiar breeze continue to escape outwards-- yet, once up close, perhaps one could sense the just the faintest hint of twisted, disturbing corruption those gusts carry.
  840. [22:10] Gabriel stayed behind most of the group. He was injured, though his adrenaline was still running it was lowering. Feeling the pain, he'd wince a bit as they continued towards the door. Once through.
  841.
  842. An amass of steam hit the group. The holy shield of Gabriel was able to hold strong. Gabriel could feel it, the corruption that laid in wait for them. This had to be the master of Hestia. Gabriel once again readied himself, even if he could only use one arm. He'd use it to the best of his ability.
  843. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  844. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  845.
  846. [22:11] The steam stung yes.... but that was nothing... her last trip was to Helheim... and she walked the way home on a broken leg... with a medic in the group no less...
  847.
  848. Skin red from light burns in areas the pain was shrugged off for the most part... though she was ready for whatever lay beyond... as with Helheim she could feel the emotions building within...
  849.
  850. After seeing all the corruption.... the evil... the chaos this place was subjected to... she was angry... she felt pit... and sorrow... even happiness to a small degree for freeing all of the tormented souls...
  851.
  852. She could feel it... hair line cracks... spreading from the first... the barrier holding her back... was preparing to break... it's been as a dam leaking water for a while... but soon it would be ready to burst...
  853.
  854. A determined look marking the warriors face she follows her mothers lead once again...
  855.
  856. Time to finish this....
  857. (Anise Ixis)
  858. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  859.
  860. [22:13] They'd head through the door carefully this time instead of blasting through it. That didn't seem to help though as upon the moment they entered, what she could tell was steam from fighting her husband numerous times had begun to rain down upon them.
  861.
  862. Her defenses had dealt with the assault of steam entirely, negating any and all damage that would normally have been done to her, it paid to have some experience it seemed. She was thankful for it, but others getting injured wasn't all that good.
  863.
  864. "Are you lot alright? Hopefully none of you got to hurt from that."
  865.
  866. A bit more words from her this time, that did sound concerned, yet she'd continue to be ready to press on. The cold draft that flowed through had an odd feeling to it, one that she wasn't used to. It definitely didn't feel right, so she'd keep her guard up still.
  867.
  868. Better to be safe than sorry.
  869. (Evi Tatasuki)
  870. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  871.
  872. [22:23] Ashera would slowly see the largely flowing stream of steam. Ashera would slowly maintain her defensive stance and maintain her aura. Even her holy abilities allowed for the burns to bother her severely. She would feel the searing pain of the steam.
  873.
  874. Ashera feeling the blazing pain of steam, would move forward. As her skin would slowly begin to scorch with pain. Her whole body was aching from earlier fights.... And the pain would continue on for the Krausite paladin....
  875.
  876. She grit her teeth. As she would continue to walk towards adverstity….towards the enemies master... She would continue to keep fighting. She had cleared the evils and trials that were before her. And this was one of many more to keep peace in the world.
  877.
  878. And so the paladin would keep fighting. And keep pushing herself. She would continue her fight. And would keep her declaration from before. She would keep on fighting, and would continue to free the beings shackled by the destable depraved art.
  879.
  880. She had made a promise that she would never allow the pain and evil that happened to her happened to anyone else. She would put her life on the line time and time again to finish what the Krausite paladin had put herself into....
  881.
  882. "I am alright. Thanks for asking, but I will not be satisfied until the people....The people are free from this place. Let us all put everything on the line to bring an end to this madness...Let us set them free, and restore the lifestream…"
  883. (Ashera Ixis)
  884. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  885.
  886. [22:28] {NARRATION} Quiet.
  887.
  888. And it wasn't the pleasant kind of silence, either. Rather, one as eerie as the wintry blanket along northern Agartha; anything but peaceful.
  889.
  890. The crippling dread always tugged about, swirling, shrouding, expanding, and with every step to follow, it only gets more and more... well, unbearable. And amidst this quietness, stands a sole figure across the darkened room. With his back turned to them, and posture as calm as ever... even then, to anyone attuned to the lifestream, or one practicing the arts of exorcism, the sensation to wash over is beyond sickening-- almost enough to churn their stomach all the while.
  891.
  892. Slow, soft movements, before the one called 'master' finally turns about, his features blank for most parts, devoid of any emotions in particular.
  893.
  894. "Hestia...?"
  895.
  896. Murmured outwards, and though those eyes narrow for just a moment, he'd only sigh.
  897.
  898. "Didn't make it, then... and to likes of you, at that. That... was a waste."
  899.
  900. A pause as winds pick up, sharper, and they only get wilder with each step, with each second that follows, all the way until he was mere meters away from them, quiet, unusually so.
  901.
  902. "I'm the one you're looking for, apparently. Well, then, raise your blades-- charge onward. Try to hit me, or whatever..."
  903.
  904. Once his own arm lifts upwards, and palm points itself in the direction of mages present-- one thing was apparent, his command over Chaotic art was significantly superior than the girl from earlier, and his demeanour only backed that up.
  905.
  906. "I'll start it, otherwise."
  907. [22:34] Mikiko was mentally drained, tired, and even on the verge of falling asleep due to the pain she was feeling through her body. Have it been earlier in the day, or she wasn't suffering from all these burns, she would be in tip top shape. However, it seemed that this one was more attuned into the darker side of magic and was evidenced by the undead folk and the aura of the dark winds. It made her stomach turn, but she was ready and willing to bring all she had to the fray. The same battle plan would ensue and she would do her hardest to not falter.
  908. (Mikiko Heifang)
  909. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  910.
  911. [22:37] She couldn't shake that eerie, unnerving feeling. All throughout the trip she had it and it was at it's peak here. The silence, the chill wind. The fighting. Even the undead. It all gave her such an off feeling and soon enough, they'd meet the source. The 'Master'.
  912.
  913. "So we finally meet the Master huh? He doesn't seem to even have a care for what he was doing, or that girl that gave us one hell of a fight."
  914.
  915. That honestly ticked her off. It reminded her of her past, where she was seen as nothing but an object that her father used when he didn't want to do something. A slave if one could call it that. It made those memories flash through her head, one by one, reliving all those horrible moments that her mind vividly remembered. All up to the point where she had run, being blinded in the process.
  916.
  917. "He's like my father, sees those close to him as tools or slaves. That's the impression I get and for that, I'm going to kill him and make those that he has afflicted, rest and return to where they belong."
  918.
  919. There was a decent hint of anger in her voice as the ground beneath them would begin to shake and tremble. Her emotions were affecting her magic, something that often didn't happen. This seemed to be an outlier for most situations.
  920.
  921. She was ready to end this.
  922. (Evi Tatasuki)
  923. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  924.
  925. [22:41] Gabriel slowly made his way to the front, side by side with the others. His arm rest in his slide. He knew that he was going to have to switch up his style. Grabbing a hold of his red shawl, turning it over so that his left arm could be hidden from view. He'd turn into south paw stance. Leading with his right arm forward. Sword in front of himself.
  926.
  927. Feeling the occult and malice come off of the man in front of him. He wondered how strong he was. Not underestimating their foe this time. If they were stronger then Hestia.. They were in a lot of trouble. More then a lot of trouble. It was going to take another big hit from the spirit realm to finish this one.
  928.
  929. Gabriel's arm hurt, he wondered if he could even muster up such a feat again. Hopefully those with him would do some good. He'd perk up a bit hearing the words of the occult man.
  930.
  931. " It's strange. The voice you are giving off. Is one who has grief for a fallen comrade or maybe you're just monotone.. I doubt some one such as yourself could feel much of anything after what you've done to this town!" Gabriel shouted out. Getting fired up. His energy shield coming over him as he readied for the on coming fight.
  932. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  933. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  934.
  935. [22:49] Such arrogance... Such arrogance... at perverting the lifestream.. to trying to bend the creation of Kraus to his will...
  936.
  937. The undead.... the chaos... the people... the taint now permeating this place.... it was all him … he did this...
  938.
  939. The longer she thought about it the more she felt... empathy had always been a trait of hers... this place spoke to her... what it once was... and the pain... the torture... the manipulation of things that should not be....
  940.
  941. The warrior would close her eyes for scarcely a moment all the emotions within her becoming quiet... a calm before the storm... she would whisper,
  942.
  943. "By the will of Kraus..."
  944.
  945. And like the tide returning her emotions returned in full force... the barrier never standing a chance... the thing that had kept her held back all this time blown to nothing... her aura explodes into a blue brilliance around her as she opens her eyes....
  946.
  947. All the pain.... the agony of the souls tortured here... she could almost feel it as if it were her own... tears were running down her face... She looks at the one who caused all of this pain... the master …
  948.
  949. They came to cleanse this place... and it will be done..
  950.
  951. At the first signal she would explode into motion her initial step cracking the stones beneath her feet. A trail of starlight and blue flames in her wake.
  952. (Anise Ixis)
  953. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  954.
  955. [22:49] Ashera would see that this was the one that they had clamed master...And those claims were very true. She would smell the reak of depravity that had emanated from that person. He was the one orchestrating this detestable act. And worse yet? He was very apathetic doing so....This injustice would not stand with Ashera..
  956.
  957. She would raise her blade once more. Using her holy energy to restore most of the burns that she was given. As well as restoring her physical energy. She would be invigorated and ready to finally put an end to the necromancer cultists madness.
  958.
  959. "This evil....This Injustice that you AND your cult has imposed on this island of innocents.. It will not go unpunished. You will pay for your crimes against the innocent lives here. And I will make sure of that!"
  960.
  961. Ashera would make her defensive stance once more. As she would be in FULL concentration. She would focus on her emotions. As they would empower holy abilities before her. The iron paladin would create a layer of holt ground skin that would tough for even experienced magi to piecre. And would then prepare for an attack.
  962.
  963. Ashera would rise unto the heat of combat and would speak to bolster the morale of those around her...
  964.
  965. "We will show them... Show them they will not go and hurt the innocent as they please. We are the final stand against this injustice. We have suffered before. Suffered pain beyond normal to get here. Let it not be the last. If one truly desires greatness, one must find that weakness....
  966.
  967. Ashera would glow a brighter holy aura. As she would yell.
  968.
  969. "And push it with all your HEART!"
  970. (Ashera Ixis)
  971. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  972.
  973. [22:51] You learned the spell Protect.
  974. [23:13] Gabriel took in a deep breath. He could feet it. It was in the air. A great battle was a bout to begin. He was indeed right. As the it opened. Gabriel was hit was a gust of wind and occult magic, he had faced mourngale before by the hands of two others. But nothing like this, it was far more powerful.
  975.
  976. With his weakend right arm. Gabriel knew just rushing it was going to be risky. So he went with the plan they had made before. Tossing his holy and earth magic out, grasping the man and holding him still for everyone to dog pile on to. This was going to be the main tactic or so he thought. As a massive hit of mournegale and a magic he'd only seen Zeriel use before, and Hestia as of now. Smashing into Gabriel sending him flying backwards into the dirt. Writhing in pain as he grabbed his left arm.
  977.
  978. He'd slowly get up to his knees, standing up. Knowing this was going to be his only shot to put in some form of damage. Gabriel's right arm started to grow larger, along with the right side of his body. Still not fully in control of the power his grand father had lent him. Gabriels right hand started to glow a bright teal.
  979.
  980. " Take this!" Gabriel shouted out shooting a mass of energy towards the man. After Gabriel would fall to his knee's. Holding himself up with his right hand as he started to breath hard.
  981. (Gabriel Gelmont)
  982. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  983.
  984. [23:14] Her earth, her fire, her magma, it all struck with more ferocity than even before. At times she was still pushed back but at times she'd fire off and push their opponent back, leaving him with burns and probably more and more fractured and broken bones as the fight progressed. It was clear she was angry and irate.
  985.
  986. She had no respect, no sympathy for people who practiced necromancy and she had no sympathy for one who acted like people were tools. After the first fight with the guard, this was probably her best fight overall, with how she fought and how powerful her attacks were.
  987.
  988. Yet despite all this, she didn't land the finishing blow. She didn't get to end his disgraceful life, which didn't make her content fully, but as long as he ended up dying, then things were alright.
  989.
  990. "Kill him, end the suffering of those that he has forced under his control, that he has risen from the dead. Cleanse the corruption that he has caused to this world and to the lifestream. End this vile man before I take the chance from all of you."
  991.
  992. She wasn't having any of it, no waste of time, nothing of the sort. It was time someone ended it, or she ended it herself for them.
  993. (Evi Tatasuki)
  994. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  995.
  996. [23:16] As the fight began though she had never been one for it before she screamed... a sound no one has ever heard from her before... the cry was one of many layers...
  997.
  998. As she and the others charged him she would throw herself towards him... moving at a near impossible speed... a gold and blue meteor hurling into the fell winds....
  999.
1000. And they struck... all five of them descended upon him... he would not get a break... he held a brief advantage for a few moments before even his control of Chaos was overwhelmed and his undead fell he became more open to their attacks...
  1001.
1002. She fought with a ferocity she never had before... her mace finding flesh trying to break him down to nothing... some of her strikes sending him to allies only to be hit by them also.... Her aura never dimmed and she didn't falter...
  1003.
1004. The weight of the people here was upon her shoulders... and the others... they would be avenged...
  1005.
1006. At the end... a stumbled... for just a moment... and allof them descended upon him... everyone taking full advantage of his momentary weakness... as everyone struck weakening him to his last bit of strength... Mikiko stepped in and finished him...
  1007.
1008. After it was all over the warriors aura would flicker out... not because she was out of energy by any means... she had more than enough now... there was simply no longer a need...
  1009.
1010. She laid a hand upon the stones of the floor... as if it somehow connected her to this place in some physical and emotional way... she says...
  1011.
1012. "May you all be at rest... and know you are avenged... your lands will be cleansed and its taint gone... I am sorry this has happened... but know that the evil that did this is gone... and will trouble no one any longer..."
  1013.
1014. A few tears would stain the stone before she stands and wipes her eyes...
  1015.
1016. A barrier finally broken... and an island cleansed..
  1017.
  1018.
  1019. (Anise Ixis)
  1020. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1021.
1022. [23:20] Ashera would knock on one knee once more. But she knew what she was getting herself into. Every single time she was knocked down, She would get up. Brushing herself off. She had given her fight everything that it had desired. She would charge towards the enemy. With everything that she had.
  1023.
1024. Ashera would be able to soak up the hits that the master would through at her. And would try and make the best of her advantages... Ashera would slash the enemy before her. Even giving the enemy a severe slash across ones chest. As she would finish her line of attacks, It was just enough to give the others a chance at a final blow.
  1025.
1026. Ashera would give it everything that she has gotten. She would continue damaging the man As the others would follow up. Assisting her with another cut hitting him.
  1027.
1028. "This is it Necromancer! Your reign of terror upon this Island shall end here!"
  1029.
1030. Ashera would glare at the weakened man, and would jump out of the way. Giving Mikiko room to finish her opponent with her finishing attack. Hoping that was the final shot that the group needed to take him out. She wouldn't be satisfied as she did not deal the final blow. But she was happy that the island would finally be able to be rest at peace.
  1031.
1032. After the debacle. Ashera would Slowly cleanse this land of depravity using her holy magic to dispel the occultic magic. Fully clearing the Island of the shackles of depravity.
  1033. (Ashera Ixis)
  1034. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1035.
1036. [23:20] "No. More. I'm sick of this. I'm sick of these god damn undead people on this god damn fuckin' island." she snaps, pointing her hand towards the downed 'Master' with an evil snarl. Her iris, straight as it was glowing with the occult energy wrapping around her person and pushing her to do more violence for the act of it. Luckily, no one was injured...well, no one yet.
  1037.
1038. With her right hand extended out and fueled by the flames of the darkness commixing with her natural attributes, a few sparks of her next spell started to form as she just started to chuckle. She has suffered pain, twice in this little field trip and she was simply not having it anymore. With every little step meeting against the grain of grass, she soon found herself face to face with Ronarck.
  1039.
1040. "Your entire presence is a bother, stop breathing...Drop dead."
  1041.
1042. The sparks then formed into a stream of kinetic energy blazing around the person's face first. The eyes starting to dissolve into nothing and soon did the first layer of skin. Manipulating their wind element to their her advantage, the flames started to shroud around the person in a lethal dosage of disintegration at it's purest form.
  1043.
1044. The second layer was melting away, and soon did the very hair of the master. With each passing second, the agony and strain of the black flames soon started to encompass the master for now his entire body was caught ablaze. The armor, if he wore any, would melt down off their person as the weight he was at was depleting rapidly. Every moment that passed was reaching closer into their skeleton as Mikiko finally held their skull with the flames, ceasing it.
  1045.
1046. Another, boastful chuckle came out of her lips before she spoke in a petty tone:
  1047.
1048. "You hurt my guilds mates, and my elders. And you dare use your disgusting chaos magic to do more harm to nature. Your entire being is worth nothing, NOTHING."
  1049.
1050. Those were here last words towards the person as she ripped the skeleton and the spine away from the existing, charred flesh and bone of the body. Tossing it on to the ground and STOMPING on it multiple times until it cracked opened the bone and pressing harder to shatter it.
  1051.
1052. The deed was done, victory was there's; however, Mikiko felt more darkness than she did before coming. It was as if something in her heart went into darkness. Maybe she was hungry; but, in reality, it was the thrill of killing someone who she believed deserve it.
  1053.
1054. "No more. I'm going home."
  1055. (Mikiko Heifang)
  1056. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  1057.
1058. [23:28] {NARRATION} Perhaps weakness, or perhaps clouded by his own hubris-- the master necromancer slowly, but surely found himself backed in the corner. Unlike Hestia from earlier, he... wasn't as brave, or so, as one may put it. Amidst the panicked features, the attempts at fleeing the impending doom, and everything, he tried to claw his way through. To shout, to incoherently scream outwards all the while.
  1059.
1060. Ultimately, the necromancer crumples the ground-- defeated. Yet... a quick death wasn't what he earned. Flares lick, melting the armor-- only to spread along his skin afterwards. Searing, heated in the moment, wails of agony flood entirety of the fort as he'd slowly wither away, layer by layer.
  1061.
1062. Perhaps deserving for one who toyed with lives-- and deaths of others, but... brutal, nevertheless.
  1063.
1064. The room in itself was rather quiet, and spotless for most parts-- barring a single, larger sculpture of Azrael that stood tall along one of the walls. Despite the harsh battles, despite the chaotic arts that were tossed about, it was unharmed, left without a single scratch, however...
  1065.
1066. ...upon further inspection, it was more than apparent that the thing in itself was formed with the use of pure, pristine Arcanium, pulsating and cascading with mana all the same. While incredible hard, if not impossible to shatter for any normal magus... if brought to a competent smith, it could surely be put to a better use. Better than being shaped into the Fallen One himself.
  1067.
1068. As for the island. As soon as the necromancer's influence wavered, diminished, and eventually faded, the ones suffering the curse of undeath were more than free to return back to the spirit realm, to rest yet once again. While the damage was done, and residents were close to negligible at this point, they wouldn't have to go through forced slavery or so anymore, at the very least. Who knows, following the events, perhaps they'd migrate after all.
  1069.
1070. Regardless, at the end of the day, peace returned to the lands-- and their task, despite the injuries, ended in success, if anything. The individuals who helped such happen would be treated with utter respect by the locals, as heroes, even if they don't stay for long.
