- Posted with Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy in mind, but feel free to try this with any PSP game of your choice that supports multiplayer.
- 0) Enable built in pro ad hoc server in PPSSPP network settings
- 1) Launch your first PPSSPP instance, go to the game and then change the pro ad hoc ip to localhost (just type in "localhost" without spaces or quotes)
- 2) Launch your second PPSSPP instance from the same executable or shortcut, it should say "instance: 2" in brackets at the top of the emulation window.
- 3) With the second PPSSPP, untick the "enable built in pro ad hoc server" and type in localhost again to the ad hoc ip address field
- 4) You may have to adjust controller inputs to avoid synchronised inputs on both emulators. If both players send a match request at the same time, it will be nullified so be careful.
- 5) ???
- 6) At this point you could set up Eddienput scripts to playback fixed input sequences for training and experimentation purposes.
- 7) Profit?
