Six friends--dwarf, half-elf, warrior, mage, knight and kender--separated to seek some sign of the ancient, true gods of the world of Krynn. Five years later, they reunite amid rumors of war and growing evil. It's not until they meet a beautiful tribal princess and her barbarian protector that they find the sign that they've been seeking. Now they face monsters and horrors beyond their imaginations--horrors that will either destroy them or forge them into the greatest heroes that the world of Krynn has ever known.
After five years apart, searching the world of Krynn for proof of the existence of the true gods, a group of adventurers find their proof in the form of a barbarian woman carrying a miraculous blue crystal staff. Soon they are thrust into war as an army of dragons overtakes their homeland.
i remember also watching an early animated version of Tolkien&#39;s The Hobbit. The animation was terrible. This has the same feeling to it. Correct me if I am wrong but maybe the animation part was done in the Philippines or India?<br/><br/>Like a previous rating, the movie shattered my imagination of Krynn. I imagined Krynn to be a darker Tolkien universe. The movie made it seem like a Disney&#39;s version of it.<br/><br/>The voice do not match the lip movements, the action (if any) was very stolid, the animation has no emotion of any kind, the humor is non- existent.<br/><br/>I was just glad that they did not make the part 2 of the series!
It&#39;s about time that they finally got this amazing epic on film. But why did they go with animation, (of which I am a super fan), and not live action. Live action would have made them millions at the box office, and more in DVD sales. Someone really wasn&#39;t thinking here on this one. But at least it is out there now. The original Fantastic Four movie wasn&#39;t all that hot either, but i found a copy long before the new movies came out. It may not have been all that good, but i always said one thing. At least it&#39;s the FF.<br/><br/>The same with the destroyer, where they called it Remo Williams, the Adventure Begins. It sure wasn&#39;t accurate either.But at least it was there.
