Every Game

I saw that Pichi is planning to do an "Every Game I've Ran" Marathon and I freaked out at this brilliant idea. One of my problems with speedrunning is that I just want to speedrun ALL THE THINGS and never have time for it - so why don't I just go ahead and play ALL THE THINGS anyway?! Obviously none of these would be good runs, but it would stil be a *really, really* fun thing to do. It would be like a celebration of everything I've done in streaming to date.

So, consider this my official announcement that I am going to, Lord willing, do this some day. In the future. TBD. Maybe this year. Maybe next. Maybe never. Who knows?

Now, I'll have to decide if I want to include games that I've done a single run of. Each of these were either part of a Get Yourself Speedrunning, a bonus to Mega Man Week, or just a random race. I'm leaning towards "maybe" for all of them....

The BIG question is whether I include FFIX in there. The E2PG is obviously not something I can just run back, but technically it was a speed run (segmented). And it also was a huge part of my stream, and I gained a ton of viewers from that who still hang around. A reasonable solution would be to do an any% run of it, but split it across 4 days or so - one per disc. So it'd be like an IGT attempt instead of an RTA attempt.

How would I do this? Well, I'd try to work it in to basically a tiny bit more than normal stream schedule - maybe 4-5 times a week. It would probably take about 2 weeks to go through it all (or 3 if I decide to do the FFIX thing). There would definitely be a DKC Trilogy 306% run in there. Maybe even an all-6 NES Mega Man run if I learn enough about those before this.

Also, if I don't do this soon, I may end up adding two other games to the list: Banjo-Kazooie 100% and Super Mario RPG! So that's either an argument to do it sooner or later. Not sure which.

This week? Getting Breath of the Wild (Wii U) on Friday. Trying to finish up the main story of FFXV before that, so may not do as much streaming this week. If I do it will be 101% attempts.

Started playing The Last of Us, as well - so far it's living up to the acclaim.

Still planning on another 306 before the month is out - I'll be doing a lot of work on 102 probably starting next week to prep for my SNES Super Stars run.
