background:
chaeri grew up in a music-based family. they always pressured her into doing something music-related so she chose to do hip-hop, a completely different genre than her family. her parents disagreed at first but her sister told them it was still acceptable as a genre of music. she looks up to her father the most because she had always been fascinated by different instruments creating a different background for songs every time. when she finally got her own computer at 13, she bought her own keyboard and started making small beats like her father. unlike him, she did much faster rhythms and included many different uncommon instruments as well. when she was 15, she was pretty much in her room all the time and by 17, she decided to apply as a music producer at a small entertainment. fantagio entertainment caught her eye so she submitted a composition and got accepted after a few rejections. she also started to explore rapping so when she saw rappers practicing, she asked to switch to a trainee and rap and compose instead. fantagio agreed after a while of debating so she trained for 3 and a half years before debuting with blank.

personality:
chaeri is an extremely outgoing person although it may not have seemed that way from her high school days. she was the exact opposite; an anti-social, shy and reserved girl. it seemed that way because she often on a computer composing or scribbling inspiration in her notebook. she is not actually awkward with people, she just doesn't talk a lot but when she does she makes you want to die because of her endless puns. chaeri is very forgetful, she can take around a week to remember information, reminders or a new face. it's mainly because she actually doesn't take it to heart but she does have a better memory than you think, especially her long term memory. she is great at sympathizing with people so they often go to her to rant and talk about things (but she only really is pretending she understands their situation most of the time) and she will respond with her piece of advice based on what she understood. she's the best person to go to if you need someone to procrastinate with.

his personality:
jimin is cute fluffball that is really shy around new people. he likes to laugh a lot and make people comfortable by cracking the occasional joke. he is also really good at taking in things so he won't mind if people use him as a punchbag (not literally) and insult him if they had a particularly bad day. you can see him smiling a lot of the time but usually he has a somewhat blank face when things get serious. he is quick to understand jokes and he will retaliate with an equally bad one so he makes a great person to be around for any mood unless you feel like killing someone.
how you meet:
chaeri and jimin first met when jimin and rap monster were asked to be guest host for a show in which blank (can be whole group or just black unit) happened to be on.
first impressions:
+chaeri at thought he was a serious person because he didn't talk much at first but as the show grew longer, she found him to be a funny and happy person.
+jimin saw chaeri as a shy person because she would answer questions in a small voice thus he tried to make her less shy by aiming a few jokes at her which was how chaeri first saw him.
how she acts around him:
+at the beginning, she is awkward with him as she doesn't really know what to say for once. she can come off a bit rude if you don't understand her jokes so she tried to avoid saying those jokes both to avoid being on his bad side and being bashed by extreme fans. at some point, some of her group members started to get bashed on their accounts.
+near the middle, it takes a few words from the older members to help them realise their feelings. they did get a lot of bashing from both fandoms to the point that they can't even leave the company building for 3 days straight and even recieved death threats. she started to notice jimin becoming more and more distant from her.
+at the end, the fans started to accept that they were while the supporters from the beginning started proclaiming their ship. jimin and chaeri are still shy around each other but in public, he's really cheesy and sweet with her. she gets red very easily.
how he acts around her:
+at the beginning, he just saw her as another new rookie group member but something in him made him want to make her easy around cameras. fans at first thought that he favoured her on shows together or was just flirting so they started to take interest in that group that at some point, they started to ridicule the other members for silly reasons.
+near the middle, it's pretty obvious he favours her over other members so his hyungs tell him that that's what love is. because of the fans and the company, he tried to distance himself to avoid making it hard for both groups and companies. the fans notice this of course and start bashing both members.
+at the end, the supporters of the ship start guilt-tripping the bashers so it dies down slowly. jimin actually confesses when bts gets a win at a show. they still have haters of course but the majority are supportive. he is really cheesy and sweet in public.
