  1. "Kris, I don't think I can do this. I mean when it's just you and me its great but...in a group? I don't think I can do this around other people."
  2.
  3. "You got this Susie. I already told Noelle, Catti, and...Berdly how good you are. The three of them are REALLY excited to see you in action."
  4.
  5. YOU TOLD OTHER PEOPLE!? Kris, what the hell? How could you possibly think that was a good idea, that I'd be cool with that?
  6.
  7. C-calm down Susie! There's nothing to be embarrassed about. We all had a first time. Sure it's a little weird in a group and the first time is almost guaranteed to be awkward but... then you loosen up and it just becomes fun. I PROMISE, you'll love it.
  8.
  9. Susie looked down and into Kris's smiling face. A warm and comforting glow emanated from his eyes and Susie couldn't help but trust him.
  10.
  11. "Alright freak, I trust you. Let's give it a shot. How bad can it be?"
  12.
  13. "Yeah! That's the attitude Sus. Come on, the others are waiting.
  14.
  15. Kris took Susie's hand then pushed open the door to Hometown's friendly neighborhood game store for Adventure's League night.
  16.
  17. "Wait a sec, freak. We uh... we can still play are one-on-one game, right?"
  18.
  19. "Of course Susie, now let's go. If were quick we can maybe force Berdly to sit at the Temmie table instead of ours."
  20.
  21. Susie smiled at the thought of seeing Berdly forced to endure the horrendous ERP of Temmie and her table mates.
  22.
  23. Kris pulled open the door and lead Susie inside. In his hand he held his character sheet for Kristopher the human paladin. In Susie's clawed hand was the character sheet for Cinderus the dragonborn barbarian.
