【剧　　情】

　　裘西是个生活严谨、长得又不太出色的25岁女子，她在「芝加哥太阳时报」中任职，是个颇受好评的文案编辑，但是她心中却一直有一个无法抑制的渴望：当记者，以及和一个所爱的人来一次真正的接吻。
　　一天，因为报社要炒新闻，来刺激买气的缘故，所以「芝加哥太阳时报」老板就指派最像高中生的裘西去混入高中校园中，做一个「现在青少年言行」的专题报导。就这样，裘西「想当记者」的愿望实现了！但是接踵而来的是裘西必须面对她以前曾经历的“惨澹”高中岁月：既丑又常被人捉弄，简直是一只极不讨好的丑小鸭。
　　但是为了做好这个专题报导，裘西——这个自觉“个性古怪”的女子，必须重新打扮自己，假扮成酷炫的新新人类，重回她的高中母校，混入校内最酷的小团体中，以期能做出一篇实又精彩的报导。
　　但是，尽管裘西用尽各种方法，却依然无法得到最酷的小团体的青睐，而使得自己所能报导出来的「现在青年言行」太过保守，所以引起了老板的不满而向裘西下达最后通牒，如果裘西再表现如此的“菜”，那就可以卷铺盖走路！在这种紧急的情势中，裘西该怎么办？
　　此时，裘西也和文学老师对上“眼”了，她是否能得到她一直所深深向往的深情之吻呢？
