  1. [Past Events]
  2. >The Princess had made her appearance in Ponyville within a few hours after receiving Spike’s letter.
  3. >Now she, along with Spike, were making their way from Town Hall to the library.
  4. >To say the princess was shaken up about this is an understatement. She appeared downright livid.
  5. >”We need to insure that these…abominations are contained.”
  6. >”But princess…this Rainbow and Twilight we’re talking about!”
  7. >”That holds no sway over my decision Spike...Twilight’s curiosity got the better of her and this is the end result. If what Anonymous says is true then we’re too late.”
  8. >Celestia’s cold demeanor shut Spike up after that. The two walked along in silence.
  9. >Meanwhile you were busy keeping an eye on both Dash and Twilight; the two had started ramming their heads against the window in a vain attempt to escape.
  10. >Whatever Twilight used in order to make this room is working quite well, neither she nor Dash could break through the one way mirror.
  11. >But their ferocity, their determination to free themselves, is what worried you.
  12. >You figured zombies would give up after a few minutes of being unable to do something, but these equines…they were different.
  13. >They wouldn’t stop and when their goals weren’t achieved they’d smash their skulls against the mirror harder and harder.
  14. >It pained you to see two p0nies you’ve called friends do such a thing…you shook your head in disgust before turning away.
  15.
  16. >Upon turning your head you see the princess herself descend the stairs in to Twilight’s basement. You look to see her pained expression, the knowledge of her own student becoming like this must be hard on her.
  17. >When she casts a glance over to the one way mirror she cringes, Twilight had rammed her head in to the glass so hard she’d broken her neck.
  18. >Even with the new…malformation she continued to ram herself against the glass. Luckily Spike didn’t follow Celestia down in to the basement.
  19. >”Anonymous…how…sturdy is that thing?”
  20. “It’s strong enough to keep the two of them at bay. Though if they keep doing this I have no idea how long it’ll be before they break though.”
  21. >Celestia is silent for a moment as she processes the information you’ve given her. You look to see that her expression shows pity, not only towards the equines, but for you as well, she must know how you’ve been feeling about all of this.
  22. >”Anonymous…I came here believing that it’d be easy to just…cover this whole mess up…but seeing the two of them like this, knowing what we have to do…it hurts. I just wish Twilight would have taken my warning to heart, I told her that those containers were best left alone…but she is- was a curious mare.”
  23. >You take in what she’s said, to know what has to be done must be putting a strain on her, she was Twilight’s mentor, Celestia was closer to her than any p0ny aside from her family, and even they didn’t keep in touch.
  24.
  25. >Celestia takes in a deep breath, when she exhales she casts her gaze from the zombie equines, to you.
  26. >”Anonymous?”
  27. “Yes Princess?”
  28. >”Please…take care of them…put them out of their misery.”
  29. >Her words weight heavily upon your conscience, but at least the two of you can agree that something needs to be done. With a heavy heart you answer
  30. “It shall be done Princess.”
  31.
  32. [Past Events End]
  33.
  34. >The sun peaks over the horizon to reveal the hell Canterlot has become.
  35. >Zombies...a near literal sea of zombies has taken every single courtyard surrounding the castle itself
  36. >If there are any p0nies remaining they've already fled the area. It's just you and Storm Caller now.
  37. >You'd include Fluttershy but...well...yeah...
  38. >You're still asleep, oblivious to the events occurring right outside the safety of your own room.
  39. >When the sun's rays illuminate your face you begin to stir.
  40. >The first thing you notice is that there is a particular amount of weight upon your chest.
  41.
  42. >You poke at the weight upon your chest without opening your eyes.
  43. >From the fur you feel you assume its a p0ny, but it's not breathing...
  44. >You open your eyes and you're given a full view of a pair of glowing, blood colored eyes.
  45. >Fucking Zombieshy, she's sitting on your chest staring right through your damn comfort zone.
  46. >The two of you stare at each other for a moment before she smiles.
  47. >You hear a squee when she smiles; you're then treated to a full view of all her sharpened teeth...teeth that chew through zombie bone like it's nothing.
  48. >You scream in both surprise and fear, this screaming startles Zombieshy...you do not startle a zombieshy.
  49. >Now she's screaming because you're screaming and boy is she louder than you.
  50. >All this damn screaming has made Storm Caller wake up and now he's screaming because he thinks the two of you are being torn apart.
  51. >When he gets his bearings he gives the two of you the best deadpan stare he can muster.
  52.
  53.
  54. >The two of you are still screaming though now you've gotten your hands upon your ears.
  55. >You're trying to out scream Zombieshy in hopes of drowning her out.
  56. >The sudden movement of you covering your ears causes her to scramble away from you, her screaming only gets louder.
  57. >Storm Caller facehooves and shakes his head in disappointment before speaking
  58. >"Guys?"
  59. >"AAAAAAAH!"
  60. "Aaaaaaah!"
  61. >"Guys."
  62. >"AAAAAAH!"
  63. "Aaaaah make it stop!"
  64. >"FOR THE LOVE OF CELESTIA JUST SHUT THE BUCK UP!"
  65. >You and Zombieshy sudden stop in mid scream and look over to Storm Caller....silence now fills the room.
  66. >He groans
  67. >"Finally, just what in Tartarus was that all about?"
  68.
  69. >Your response was quick and precise.
  70. "Flutters here was watching me sleep! That's just creepy...doesn't help she's a zombie..."
  71. >"Okay...now why was Fluttershy screaming?"
  72. "Because I was screaming."
  73. >"So...knowing you're in the middle of a zombie infested castle you scream as loud as you can?"
  74. "....Yes."
  75. >Storm Caller's face seems to get quite red with anger, he's even got this cartoony smoke billowing from his ears.
  76. >He starts spouting random sounds as if he's trying to say something without screaming it. He finally manages to say something coherent.
  77. >"I swear Anon if I have to make a quick decision to save myself I'm breaking your legs, just remember that."
  78. "Well that isn't every nice..."
  79. >"I don't give a shit! The two of you probably have every single zombie in Canterlot on full alert!"
  80. >Oh shit Storm Caller's right, you slowly get to your feet. Well that's new you can move now...sure you're still a little off balanced but you can move!
  81. >You flash your two party members a smile, Zombieshy offers you one in return, though you notice she's not staring at your face this time.
  82. >You turn to see Storm Caller with a forehoof over his eyes.
  83. >"Hey Anon mind doing something about your tent?"
  84. >Just what is the world could he be...oh wait. Yup you've got a case of morning wood.
  85. >And Zombieshy is staring dead at it like its her next meal...a very cold shiver courses down your spine.
  86.
  87. >When she was among the living, and before this whole mess started Flutters had a little crush on you.
  88. >At first you thought it was cute, but you weren't in to p0nies at the time and you're still not interested. >After letting her know you weren't interested things started getting a little weird.
  89. >Every other day she'd come to your house and guess your fetish, then came the nets...then the chloroform...then things started getting creepy for a while.
  90. >After that you had a nice long talk with her and things went back to normal, you honestly didn't expect asking her to quit would work but it did.
  91. >Now it seems like that old flame of hers is back, you see she's drooling a little while she stares at you....more specifically at your package.
  92. >Storm Caller turns his head and notices the spectacle going on between you and Flutters.
  93. >"You getting hard for zombies Anon?"
  94. >You thank your lucky stars you're fully dressed, you don't need to be raped by a zombie.
  95. >Oh god, just the thought of Flutters taking advantage of you now makes you sick...oh god she's really strong now...she could easily overpower you.
  96. >You struggle to hold back your vomit as you stumble over to a nearby window, upon opening it and releasing the contents in your stomach you become pale with fear.
  97. >As your vomiting you realize you're vomiting on to a horde of zombies in a courtyard...its about a 200 foot drop so you get to watch as your vomit coats them.
  98. >You can hear Storm Caller laughing his ass off back in the bedroom.
  99.
  100. >You fail to find anything funny out of this, there's literally hundreds of zombies down there.
  101. >Wait a minute, he's laughing at the fact you're vomiting...he's gotta take a look at this...but first those hay fries are saying hello for a second time.
  102. >You feel a gentle hoof rub your back as the dry heaves start coming in. You turn to see Flutterzombie is the one trying to comfort you.
  103. >Oh thank god she's got a one track mind...though you still need to relieve yourself, you can't remember the last time you took a leak.
  104. >You really feel uncomfortable relieving yourself with a potential rapist, and the p0ny who's threatening to fuck you up if things turn desperate nearby so you grin and bear it.
  105. >When the dry heaves finally stop you look on at the mess you've made...your vomit didn't make difference among the already messed up looking equines.
  106. >Though they did take notice to being thrown up on. The pegasus p0nies in the crowd take to the skies and head right for your window, the prospect of potential food drives them right to you.
  107. >You done goofed Anon.
  108.
  109. >You hurry and shut the window, you turn your front side away from the window and dive.
  110. >As your stomach hits the ground the window shatters and in pours a few pegasus zombies.
  111. >One dives for your back almost immediately, but Storm Caller tackles the equine off of you before it can bite in to you.
  112. >You flip over on to your back as another equine comes diving for you.
  113. >You manage to reach out and grab its neck, barely dodging the disease filled bite it tried to land on your exposed wrist.
  114. >It still brings all four of its hooves in to your chest, causing you to release the air in your lungs.
  115. >With a quick twist you snap its neck, but that isn't enough to kill it. It's still trying to bite you and now it just looks ridiculous.
  116. >Zombieshy is quick to react, she leaps and like Storm Caller she manages to tackle the zombie off of you.
  117. >Her teeth go to town upon its flesh and soon it's no longer moving. You turn from Zombieshy to Storm Caller.
  118. >He's busy slamming his hooves down in to the skull of the first equine that tried to bite you, he doesn't see the two pegasus diving towards him from above.
  119. >You scramble to your feet, ignoring the feeling of vertigo you make your way over to him just as the two Pegasi land.
  120. >He's pinned on his stomach and the two peagsi take advantage of that. They start trying to bite in to his flesh but his armor keeps them from doing so.
  121. >With a swift kick you manage to knock one in to a nearby bed post, the second one brings its attention to you.
  122.
  123. >As it turns to you, you feel something slam in to your back...another damn pegasus zombie.
  124. >The impact causes you to lurch forward, and right to the awaiting maws of the one that had just been chewing on Storm Caller's flank guards.
  125. >A set of hooves slam in to the jaws of said zombie, the force of impact dislocates its jaw. Storm just saved your life.
  126. >You fall right on to the equine he'd bucked. Despite being unable to bite you it still struggles under your weight.
  127. >Meanwhile you're grabbing on to the head of the zombie on your back, you can hear its jaws snapping in an attempt to bite in to your exposed neck.
  128. >You must look like quite the site, you're in a figurative zombie sandwich after all.
  129. >Storm Caller is to his feet, he's about to buck the zombie on your back but the other pegasus zombies that have flown in your room are keeping him from doing so.
  130. >Flutters is too busy chowing down on every dead thing that moves, her body count is at four and its steadily growing.
  131. >One tries to dive like all the others, Flutters snaps her head up and opens her mouth as wide as she can.
  132. >one chomp from Flutters' unforgiving jaws nearly decapitates the zombie equine, only a few strands of flesh keep the head attached.
  133. >When that body drops she moves on to the next pegasus, like the others she dispatches this one with ease, it actually leaped at her from its grounded position, leaving its belly exposed to the hungry zombieshy.
  134.
  135.
  136. >Meanwhile you've managed to get to your feet without the equine on your back biting you.
  137. >With what little strength you can muster you manage to pull it off of your back and bring it to your front.
  138. >It's still trying to bite you even in this position, you quickly toss it up a little and then you grab on to its tail.
  139. >It now hangs up side down, now its attempts at biting you are almost sad, you've got it arm's length away from you so it's chances of biting you are slim.
  140. >You see Storm Caller struggling with three equines that have managed to corner him on the far side of the room.
  141. >Without putting much thought in to it you unleash a war cry the likes of which have never been jeard, it catches the attention of the three trying to bite Storm.
  142. >As they look at you they get a face full of zombie brethren. Using the one in your hands as a weapon you sling it in to one of the three in front of Storm like you would a bat or a 2x4.
  143. >It goes down without much of a fight and the one in your hands has apparently lost consciousness.
  144. >Is that's even possible? You have nothing to go on other than the fact that it's bleeding and not moving.
  145. >Whatever you're currently using a zombie p0ny as a melee weapon your fucks are at 0 as it is.
  146. >Storm makes short work of the second of the three, when it turned to look at you Storm acted.
  147. >He bucked the zombies fore hooves out from under it, and before the zombie could rise Storm brings his hooves down upon its skull.
  148. >The last one can't seem to decide if it wants to bite Storm Caller or you, it keeps looking between the two of you as it backs up.
  149. >The fact that there is only one of it and two of you must have put its mind in to a perpetual state of fuck.
  150.
  151.
  152. >It's now backing up and away from the two of you. In its confusion it doesn't realize its backing up right to an awaiting Zombieshy.
  153. >You feel kinda bad...it has no idea what's coming. Zombieshy opens her mouth and with one bite she's got her next victim.
  154. >Finally the last one goes down...at least you hope it is....with a heavy breath you fling your zombie weapon out of the shattered window.
  155. >You really didn't need shit like this right now, but at least you have p0nies here to back you up in case more start pouring in.
  156. >It's good to have friends, with this momentary reprieve you take a look at your surroundings.
  157. >There's a lot more bodies in here than there were before...it's unsightly to say the least, especially the ones that Zombieshy got a hold of...she's a very sloppy eater.
  158. >That feeling of vertigo hasn't left you yet, it causes you to take a seat right next to Storm Caller, he mimics you, going right on to his stomach panting heavily as he does so.
  159. >Zombieshy looks from your tired form to Storm Caller's, she then raises a brow in confusion as if being tired from killing zombies is an uknown thing to her.
  160. >She shrugs before digging in to the morsel at her feet, you've never been so disgusted before in your life.
  161. >You turn your gaze from the disgusting site in front of you, to Storm Caller. Unlike you he can actually watch.
  162. >In fact...he's staring...he's got this look of horror on his face, he can't look away.
  163. >At least now if he makes it out of this alive he can tell his friends that he's seen some shit.
  164.
  165.
  166. >You give a small chuckle when Storm Caller starts to dry heave. Flutters had just eaten an eyeball.
  167. "Oh come on Storm, you gotta have a stronger stomach than that."
  168. >"B...B...buck you Anon."
  169. >You shake your head before giving Storm a sly grin, you turn to see Zombieshy happily munching away.
  170. >You've grown accustomed, you had to or else you'd be vomiting every few seconds.
  171. >Hell even knowing Flutters here still has the hots for you from beyond the grave is creepy.
  172. >Necrofoalia isn't your fetish, but it might be Zombieshy's...you shiver in fright at the thought.
  173. >You try to steer the conversation to a more positive...less creepy light.
  174. "So, Storm Caller...about that chariot. How close are we to getting to it?"
  175. >Storm Caller's dry heaves finally subside and he answers
  176. >"Anonymous, we've still got to make it to the southern section of the castle, after that we've got an area cleared for take off."
  177. "That reminds me, don't know if we've already gone over this but...how does it work? If you're all that's left you can't exactly fly it yourself. A single peagsus carrying another pegasus and a human?"
  178. >"Well Anonymous I'm not going to be at the helm, this particular chariot doesn't need a driver, it runs on magic, we've just got to steer it."
  179. "Wow...that makes this a bit easier, how long does it take to get airborne?"
  180. >"About five minutes."
  181. "So what are we going to do if zombies start swarming the runaway."
  182.
  183.
  184. >"We'll defend it, unfortunately for you, you don't know how to pilot it. So that means that Flutters here is our highest priority because she's an Element, then its me because I have to fly us out of here, then there's you."
  185. "So what you're saying is..."
  186. >"If worse comes to worse we're leaving you behind."
  187. >Well...isn't that just peachy? You weren't looking forward to possibly becoming a meal for the rest of these equines.
  188. "You know...I'm not looking forward to becoming food for any of those things."
  189. >"Sorry to hear that, but if we're unable to take off with you on board you're going to have to find a way to keep yourself alive, without us."
  190. >You sigh to yourself before crossing your arms in front of your chest.
  191. >On one hand you didn't want to risk your own life any more than necessary, but then again if you can get Fluttershy to Celestia there could possibly be a way to stop all of this.
  192. >Anonymous, the price of one life does not equal to thousands of others.
  193. >You sigh again before shaking your head.
  194. "If worse comes to worse I'll provide a distraction."
  195. >Flutters shared your sentiment, when Storm Caller finished explaining she trots over and nuzzles your hand.
  196. >When you looked down to see her you see that she's got two trails of blood leading from her eyes down to her cheeks.
  197. >Wow...she's crying blood...that can't be healthy. You give her a reassuring smile before turning back to the broken window.
  198. >The zombies from outside begin to moan, they carry all the way up to your window.
  199. >The sun is burning away Anonymous, you guys had better hurry up.
  200. >You're okay enough to walk, you can defend yourself, let's do this.
  201.
  202. >You waste no time pushing away the items that make up the barrier in front. You take your time breaking off two wooden posts that made up the bed frame.
  203. >If you were going to clear a path you needed a melee weapon, and it was always good to have a back up in case your first failed.
  204. >You give the wooden post a few test swings, yeah they'll do. They aren't bats but you can't complain, you had nothing before.
  205. >With Storm Caller's help you're able to get rid of everything that just so happened to block the way out.
  206. >When all that remained was the door itself you take notice that the zombies that had tried to get to you the night prior had literally chewed a few holes in to the door.
  207. >You look through said holes to see that the majority of the zombies from last night have cleared out, there was still quite a bit, but it seemed doable.
  208. "You guys ready to do this?"
  209. >You look to your partners, Storm Caller gave you a small nod while Zombieshy licked her bloody chops.
  210. >You take a deep breath before kicking the door as hard as you can, due to it already receiving some damage, you're able to kick the door off of its hinges.
  211. >It lands upon two equines, you leap out of the room and on to the door before either zombie could get back to its feet.
  212. >Immediately the other zombies take notice of you, they all break off in to a full blown gallop, intent on eating you.
  213. >You brought out one of the posts you'd taken, when one leaped to take a snap at your face you swing your post, it collides with the side of said zombie's face, it's down.
  214. >Storm Caller comes out from behind you and finishes off your target with a pair of hooves before it can get up.
  215. >Three more zombies rush you simultaneously, yeah shit just got harder.
  216.
  217. >Why are there so many zombies?
  218. >Why do ALL of them seem to be in this hallway?
  219. >How are you actually making a push towards the end of said hallway?
  220. >The only answer you can come up with is: Magic.
  221. >Your bed post comes down on one zombie's head with a sickening crack, splitting its skull wide open.
  222. >Zombieshy tears in to brains, stopping it completely.
  223. >But you don't know that, you're too busy swiping your bed post piece at another zombie, unfortunately you're unable to hit the head on this one.
  224. >You settle for its side, upon contact you launch the unfortunate zombie in to its brethren, knocking six of them down like bowling pins.
  225. >Wait...that's it, they're so close together that if you manage to throw one, the others will be knocked down.
  226. >Some of these zombies aren't able to stand as quickly as the zombies you ran in to back at the front gates a few days ago.
  227. >Your thought process is shattered by a peagsus zombie leaping at you with the help of its wings.
  228. >You instinctively catch it, dropping your weapon in the process.
  229. >The zombie you've caught is desperately trying to bite you with its broken, yellow teeth.
  230. >For a moment you think of some rabid infant being held in your arms, desperate to take a chunk out of you.
  231. >You'd laugh if your life wasn't on the line. You take that pegasus in your arms and toss it as hard as you can at the incoming zombies.
  232. >Lo and behold they all crumble under the thrown zombie.
  233. >"My Celestia you really can think on your feet! Guess you aren't such a dumb shit after all!"
  234. >Storm Caller, the best motivational speaker you know.
  235.
  236. >He's currently stomping on his target, he's not able to kill it, but at least it won't be crawling after you.
  237. >Storm Caller moves on to the next zombie, he bucks it before it can leap, his buck takes the jaw off of this one making it unable to bite properly, it lands on the ground stunned.
  238. >As you're picking up your bed post another zombie tries biting at the top of your head, Zombieshy takes care of it for you, its poor head is crushed within her mouth.
  239. >You look up with your melee weapon in hand to see the site, she flashes you a bloody grin before she bites off the leg of an incoming zombie.
  240. >God aren't you happy you've got her on your side
  241. >Her razor sharp teeth make quick work of another four zombies, she focuses upon their legs now, acting as a sort of living lawn mower.
  242. >Okay, maybe you won't have to work as hard as you previously thought.
  243. >You pick up one of the legless zombies she's made and toss it a few feet ahead of her in order to make her work easier.
  244. >She just keeps chomping away, God its like watching a shark chew through bloody meat.
  245. >It doesn't take her long to dispatch the last of the zombies along the hallway, the once stark white walls are now painted with the blood of her various meals.
  246. >You and Storm Caller walk on in silence behind her, taking the occasional glance over at the zombies trying to worm their way over to you.
  247. >They're failing miserably, their stumps can't propel them close enough to the two of you in order for them to be considered a threat.
  248.
  249.
  250. >"Well...this is...unsightly. And here I thought she was supposed to be the quiet, shy one."
  251. "That's an astute observation there Storm, too bad a zombie apocalypse changes peop- p0nies."
  252. >"Indeed."
  253. "So, where do we go from here?"
  254. >"Oh! Uh...hold on give me a minute."
  255. >The three of you make your way to the end of the hallway, you've now got three different directions you can go in.
  256. >You wait on Storm Caller to point your group in the right direction.
  257. >You look down at him and he just sits there, contemplating.
  258. "Shouldn't you know which way to go? You did say the southern section right?"
  259. >"Yeah I did...which way is south?"
  260. >You don't answer him with anything more than another question
  261. "And when you said south, did you mean the back of the castle, or south of what our position was?"
  262. >He opens his mouth to speak, but no words come out.
  263. >His eyes grow wide when he realizes he dun goofed. He sighs before face hoofing.
  264. >"I don't even know anymore. We've been making random turns to escape zombies. I need to get outside."
  265. >You sigh to yourself before crossing your arms in front of you.
  266. "Isn't there an open courtyard or something on this floor?"
  267. >"Maybe...let's make a left down this hallway, and see where it leads us."
  268. >He points to your left and as soon as he does he gets back on to all fours.
  269. >He leads you and Zombieshy down said hallway, which leads in to various twists and turns down multiple hallways.
  270. >Just how large is Canterlot Castle?
  271. >It feels like hours have passed before you finally reach a set of stairs
  272.
  273. >The three of you end up walking up the flight of stairs, leading to what you assume to be the third floor of the castle.
  274. >Right, left, left, another right, and another right.
  275. >Does Storm Caller know where he's going or is he just making it up as he goes along?
  276. >Well, whatever he's doing, it's stopping you from having to kill zombies, this floor seems empty for the most part.
  277. >You've heard the occasional moan, or groan, but those were from a distance, you've had no need to break off from your path to engage.
  278. >As he leads you past a meeting chamber he stops.
  279. >He does a quick scan of the area, at the end of the hall it splits off in a sort of T shape, one way leading to the left, the other to the right.
  280. >There are two open rooms in this area, one is the meeting room. Inside is a long, skinny table with a dozen chairs, two chairs are positioned at the opposite ends.
  281. >The second room appears to be a relaxation area, complete with pillows, small tables, and the like.
  282. >Though one thing stands out in this room, there's a huge fucking hole in the wall, leading to the outside.
  283. >Whatever did that, you do NOT want to meet it.
  284. >You visibly shake at the site, Storm Caller does not, in fact he smiles.
  285. >"This ain't a courtyard but it'll do."
  286. >He trots over to the hole in the wall, he sticks his neck out and looks around, he leans out a little further before shouting to the two of you.
  287.
  288. >"There it is I see it! We just need to make a right down this hallway and from there I think I got it!"
  289. >As soon as he finishes shouting you hear the collective roar of zombies from outside.
  290. "Damn it why did you have to yell?!"
  291. >He turns back to you with a look of fear, he probably saw what was coming in from outside
  292. >"I yell when I'm excited! Run!"
  293. >He dashes past you in a yellow and white blur, Zombieshy is close behind.
  294. >You take one last look around the room, hoping to find something useful. You curse before breaking off in to a run in order to catch up.
  295. >As you get out in to the hallway you see Zombieshy motioning for you to follow.
  296. >Thankfully she waited on you, seems like Storm Caller doesn't want to wait on you.
  297.
  298. >Their collective roars draw closer than before, giving you that extra boost needed to speed up.
  299. >You shoot past Zombieshy, and you see Storm Caller a few yards ahead of you.
  300. >He looks back to see if the two of you are keeping up, when he turns back to look at where he's going he nearly runs in to a wall.
  301. >He skids to a stop before making a left, the two of you follow close behind.
  302. >Now you can hear the thunderous noise of hooves clopping behind the three of you.
  303. >You refuse to look back, you safely assume that its Flutterzombie at your heels rather than the horde.
  304. >Your leg muscles scream for a rest, you've been running/walking for the better part of the day.
  305. >You fight through the pain and keep going, you living takes a higher priority.
  306. >Against better judgement you turn your to get a quick peek behind you.
  307. >You immediately wish you hadn't
  308. >You thought you saw a lot of zombies before?
  309. >This horde chasing the two of you now makes every other horde you've run in to seem minuscule in comparison.
  310. >A near literal wave of zombies are twenty yards behind and closing.
  311. >You look down to see Zombieshy running for her life right behind you, she looks to you and screams in fear
  312. >You scream back, then the both of you scream together as the two you take off in hopes of catching up to Storm Caller.
  313. "We're gonna die!"
  314. >"Raaaaaaaaaaah!?[Is dying a horrible death your fetish]?"
  315. "I don't care run faster!"
  316. >"Raah! Okay..."
  317.
  318. >After a few turns you see Storm Caller burst through a set of double doors.
  319. >You and Zombieshy run through shortly after.
  320. >As you watch Zombieshy run past you, you turn to the doors you just came through.
  321. >The zombies are a little ways off, so you take this time to shut both doors.
  322. >As you do, you notice that the handles of the doors seem large enough for you to put your bed posts through.
  323. >You sacrifice your melee weapons in hopes that they'll provide some sort of barricade against the horde.
  324. >You turn back to look where your friends ran to see that Storm Caller is frantically pointing to some sort of odd looking chariot in the middle of an open courtyard.
  325. >At least you think its a chariot, it looks more like someone took the wheels off of a carriage, and welded the front of a chariot to it.
  326. >If you didn't know any better you'd say it vaguely resembled an over sized bumper car.
  327. >You didn't really care how odd it looked, if it could fly, if it could fit you in it, you were home free.
  328. >As you run over Storm Caller opens the door in to the interior of the 'chariot'
  329. >Inside it you saw a single solitary seat in front and two seats in back, it'd be a tight squeeze for you but you'd manage.
  330. >You look over the front seat and see that its facing two levers, a steering wheel, and two pedals.
  331. >This thing looks like it was built for someone of your build rather than a p0nies.
  332. >Regardless Storm Caller is able to situate himself the helm just fine, he looks at the window facing his front, he's going to have a large amount of blind spots.
  333. >Hopefully this thing can fly faster than the zombie pegasi you keep running in to.
  334.
  335. >>2473812
  336. "How long will it take for you to get this thing off the ground?"
  337. >"Gotta give the magic time to do its thing."
  338. >You watch Storm Caller lean to the right and flick a switch under his seat.
  339. >Suddenly the carriage..flying..machine..thing whirs to life.
  340. >The carriage seems to shake a bit before a blue light began to emit from under it.
  341. >The noise and light seem to scare Zombieshy, she hides behind one of four stone pillars within the courtyard.
  342. >You sigh before jogging over to her.
  343. "Listen Flutters, this is no time to be scared, you've eaten things scarier than this come on!"
  344. >You grab her around her mid section, as you lift she emits a squeak of protest.
  345. >You aren't having any of that, you chuck Flutterzombie in to the carriage and as you do, you hear a loud throaty roar that causes you to freeze.
  346. >The roar of this beast seems to echo throughout Canterlot Castle, suddenly the ground below you begins to shake.
  347. >The doors behind you guys start to splinter and crack before stopping completely.
  348. >Silence...silence fills the area around you.
  349. >Another loud roar is emitted before the double doors are shattered upon impact of something huge.
  350. >This...whatever it is...had more muscle than anything you've seen before in your life.
  351. >And it seemed nearly twice your size, you look over its features as it stares at you with a murderous gaze.
  352. "Snowflake...?"
  353. >He answers back with another roar before lumbering towards you.
  354.
  355. >Oh shit
  356. >Oh shit oh shit oh shit.
  357. >He's getting closer!
  358. >You run back to the carriage and yell
  359. "Storm Caller you better hurry up! There's a big one coming this way!"
  360. >"I know! It's not ready yet it's gonna be a little bit!"
  361. "We don't have a little bit!"
  362. >You turn back to see Snowflake, he's making good time, he'll be at the carriage in a few seconds.
  363. >Storm Caller is rapidly tapping his fore hoof on the steering wheel while looking back at Snowflake
  364. >Why is this taking so long?!
  365. >"Anonymous!"
  366. >You turn to see Snowflake raising one of his trunk sized fore hooves, he's going to swipe at you.
  367. >You barely manage to roll to the left, avoiding his swing.
  368. >Unfortunately Snowflake hits the back of the carriage instead, sending it flying in to the air.
  369. >From the way its spinning you doubt Storm Caller can do anything to level the carriage out.
  370. >You watch in horror as it flies up, before making a rapid decent in to the valley below
  371. >You can hear Storm Caller's and Zombieshy's screams echo back to your ears.
  372. >You have no time to grieve, there's a steroid junkie right next to you and he's taking another swing at you...
  373.
  374.
  375. >You roll just in time to dodge yet another swing made by Tankflake.
  376. >You yelp in fear when you see the crater where you were kneel just a few seconds before.
  377. >Tankflake growls in frustration before getting ready to swing again.
  378. "Oh fuck!"
  379. >You get to your feet and leap back while keeping your eyes upon your death.
  380. >His hoof slams in to the ground mere inches from your position.
  381. >You've got to find a way to juke this p0ny, you look to his left, then to his right, you've got a window of about twenty feet on each side.
  382. >Maybe he won't be able to turn fast enough to swing on you.
  383. >You try to make a break for his left side only to have him strafe to his left, cutting you off before you can get around.
  384. >He throws his left fore hoof forward, hitting you with a quick, weak strike.
  385. >Though this is a tank, there is no such thing as a weak strike.
  386. >You're launched backwards from the blow.
  387.
  388. >You land against one of the stone pillars within the courtyard. The wind is knocked from your lungs in the process.
  389. >You hit the ground on your hands and knees, as you catch your breath Tankflake roars.
  390. >So this is how you die? By some over-sized zombie?
  391. >You run a hand over your mid section, by some miracle nothing's broken, you really are made out of some tough stuff.
  392. >You look up to see Snowflake barreling towards you, but an object flying to your location from the right catches your attention.
  393. >It's the carriage Snowflake knocked off of the castle.
  394. >Apparently Storm Caller was able to get the damn thing started before they hit the ground.
  395. >The humming being given off by the carriage becomes louder as it flies in, Tankflake looks to the source of the sound.
  396. >Storm Caller rams the carriage full force in to Tankflake's side, knocking him off of his hooves.
  397. >In a desperate effort you reach out and grab on to a small overhang on the bottom of the cart.
  398. >Oh shit you're now airborne and the carriage can't handle your weight.
  399. >As soon as you're away from the courtyard you feel the carriage begin to lower.
  400. >Meanwhile Storm Caller is pulling back on the levers with all of his might in hopes that he can get airborne with you hanging on.
  401.
  402. >The hoof strike Tankflake gave the carriage must have did some damage, and from the pecking order Storm Caller gave you back in your safe room, you're screwed.
  403. >Storm Caller opens the door to the interior of the carriage and he looks down at you.
  404. >You return his gaze, desperation clear in your stare.
  405. >He mouths an apology before banking to the right, he's making a small circle around the castle.
  406. >You look in the direction he's flying to find that he's taking you to the front gates.
  407. >Unlike when you first arrived there's little to no zombies here, maybe he's giving you a place to make a run for it.
  408. >At least he isn't leaving you to die without a fighting chance.
  409. >You're still pissed that it has to be this way, but you aren't going to let these damn zombies get a meal if you can help it.
  410. >When the carriage is low enough you let go of the bottom without a moment's hesitation.
  411. >Four zombie equines help break your fall, you're too your feet and making a break for the front gate before your landing area can take a bite out of you.
  412. >The other dozen equines in the courtyard notice you immediately.
  413. >They break off in to a gallop in hopes of catching up to a potential meal.
  414. >Lucky for you those pursuing you are only earth p0nies, you should be able to out run them easily.
  415. >You attempt to leap over the front gates, only to have your pants leg get caught in a broken gate piece.
  416. >Due to physics you land face first upon the broken gate. In your daze you turn around to see those zombies in hot pursuit, they'll be on you in a few seconds.
  417.
  418. >One zombie makes a dramatic leap in an attempt to land on top of you, you bring your free foot back, before bringing it forward.
  419. >Your foot connects with its jaw, launching it back in to its brethren.
  420. >With this moment's reprieve you manage to tear your pants leg away from the broken gate.
  421. >You clumsily get to your feet before making a break for the town of Canterlot.
  422. >You know how bad of an idea that is, but its either head back in to the castle, or make a break for a hot air balloon in town.
  423. >You're planning on the run, if the carriage can't carry you, then you'll have to improvise.
  424. >You smile to yourself as you run across the narrow bridge connecting Canterlot Castle to the town.
  425. >That's when the collective roar of the horde can be heard.
  426. >You heard the collective roar again, this time you look behind and above you.
  427. >Tankflake is actually fucking flying, and he's leading the zombie pegasi to your location
  428. >When he sees you he lets out a throaty roar before descending upon you.
  429. "How in Celestia's name are you even doing that?!"
  430. >You tear your gaze away from Tankflake to run faster.
  431. "Gotta go fast, gotta go fast, gotta go fast."
  432. >You turn to see Tankflake closing the distance with ease.
  433.
  434. >Where the hell is Storm Caller?
  435. >You look in the sky around you in hopes of seeing the flying carriage, maybe Storm Caller will ram Tankflake again for you.
  436. >You spot the carriage as it flies westward...and away from you.
  437. >You're on your own Anon, and you're probably going to die as a result.
  438. >Your legs carry you as far as they can, fueled by adrenaline.
  439. >You hear the wind being parted from behind as Tankflake swoops low enough, you yelp before diving forward.
  440. >Tankflake misses you, he growls in frustration before taking to the sky again.
  441. >As you get to your feet you notice him banking in order to dive for you a second time.
  442. >You use this moment as an opportunity to continue running.
  443. >You've got another 100 yards of bridge to cover before you can reach the cover the town can provide.
  444. >You can do this...you hope.
  445. >Some of the pegasi that followed Tankflake drop to the bridge and break out in to a run.
  446. >60 yards left to cover
  447. >Tankflake tries to flank you from your right, he fails in doing so by a few feet.
  448. >He takes some of the bridge's side with him when he takes off in to the air again.
  449. >40 more yards to go and you're home free
  450. >You can hear the excited grunts of the pegasi as they close in on their potential meal.
  451. >You'd turn around to try to count the amount coming after you, but the vibrations under your feet are more than enough to tell you that you're being chased by a decently large sized horde.
  452. >Tankflake positions himself in the air behind the pegasi
  453. >He dives for another strike, he blows through the zombies pursuing you in order to get ahead of the pack.
  454. >He's given up on trying to dive you and instead has gone to a good old fashioned chase.
  455. >That doesn't stop the pegasi in the air from trying to dive.
  456. >One in particular manages to latch on to your back and you can't seem to reach around to grab it on the run.
  457. >You grimace when you feel its teeth bite in to your shirt.
  458. >Its trying its hardest to get to your flesh below.
  459. >Twenty yards now Anon, you spot the side of a wall to some random shop.
  460. >If you can get in to town you believe you know how you're going to get rid of your 'new friend.'
  461.
  462. >You can hear the loud, thunderous stomps of Tankflake as he slowly closes the distance.
  463. >This little pegasus on your back is desperately gnawing on your shirt, thankfully it's teeth aren't broken.
  464. >It's doing a poor job at breaking the skin, you chuckle when you successfully manage to get in to the town.
  465. >With that wall close by you run full speed at it, then leap.
  466. >At the last second you turn around so you land back first against the wall.
  467. >You can hear its bones snap upon impact, when it's grip loosens you ram your back in to the wall again.
  468. >The zombie finally lets go and you're free to keep running.
  469. >Tankflake is still on you, suddenly you feel your world turn upside down when Tankflake's trunk of an arm smashes in to your side.
  470. >You're launched in to the air, you feel your poor poor rib cage shatter upon impact.
  471. >Your body flies through the air and on to the roof of a nearby building.
  472. >You're a bit too heavy and the roof collapses upon the point you land upon.
  473. >You land with a loud thud inside the attic of some random building.
  474. >You hear tankflake roar in your direction as you start to lose consciousness.
  475.
  476. [Past Perspective]
  477. >Celestia: "Anonymous?! How did they escape?!"
  478. "I don't know! They kept smashing their heads against the glass then it cracked. Then Twilight used magic and got them both out!"
  479. >Celestia: "Damn it this is bad..."
  480. >You and the princess are currently walking outside of the tree house.
  481. >You're taken aback when the sounds of screams echo throughout Ponyville.
  482. >Celestia signals a few nearby guards to arms.
  483. >With their spears at the ready six guards head to the source of the screaming.
  484. "Celestia we need to get everyone out of here....the infection spreads at an alarming rate."
  485. >Celestia: "How quickly does this...plague spread?"
  486. "Ponyville will be gone within a day."
  487. >Celestia's spirits seem to drop at this news.
  488. >Celestia: "Have...have you dealt with this before?"
  489. "I can't say that I have."
  490. >Celestia: "Than how do we know that we'll lose this town within a day?"
  491.
  492. >As she finishes her question two of her guards run out from a nearby alleyway.
  493. >They are being chased by three pegasus, one of the guards trips and soon the three pegasus zombies are on him.
  494. >Their broken teeth tear in to his flesh, by the time Celestia's magic comes in to play, the guard has already turned.
  495. >The now zombified guard gets to his hooves and charges for you two.
  496. >Celestia wastes no time in wrapping him in her magic. She tosses him in a random direction.
  497. >The remaining guard joins up with the two of you.
  498. >Celestia: "Report."
  499. >Guard: "Your student's lost all sense of morality, she's eating p0nies! We've tried to stop her but that rainbow maned pegasus keeps diving down from the skies! I'm all that's left of that unit you sent in..."
  500. >Celestia growls in frustration
  501. >Celestia: "Not even five minutes and we've already lost control...guard alert the rest by the chariot...we need to get airborne."
  502. >The guard runs ahead of you two. You and Celestia follow close behind.
  503. >It takes a few minutes to reach the chariot. As you do, you see six guards waiting to take off.
  504. "Celestia...what about the others?"
  505.
  506. >The screaming from within the city starts to die down...you see smoke.
  507. >Celestia: "Do you hear that Anonymous...as much as it pains me to say this...we need to leave...I just hope that the others will be able to get away on their own."
  508. >You don't like the sound of that one bit, the thought of leaving those you've come to call friends isn't something that sits right with you.
  509. "Celestia, listen. You go on ahead, I'll see what I can do here."
  510. >Celestia: "Anonymous, no. You're the only one among us who has any experience with this...this plague."
  511. "If you want my 'expert' opinion: get back to Canterlot and have Spike deliver letters to every city in Equestria. Let them know about this threat, then have them come to Canterlot...by then I hope you guys would have figured something out....if not get everyone you can to a neighboring kingdom."
  512. >Celestia: "I'll...I'll trust your judgment. But where has Spike gone off to?"
  513. >You look around to see that the little dragon must have separated from you guys during the confusion.
  514. >Fucking Spike...
  515. "I'll find him, you guys get airborne...make a pass by the Mayor's Office, I'll make my way to the roof and I'll hand off Spike to you guys."
  516. >Celestia nods before getting on to the chariot, and with that she is off in to the sky.
  517. [Past Events End]
  518.
  519. >You awaken to immense agony in your...well everything.
  520. >Tankflake did a number on your insides, you thought you had died upon impact.
  521. >But as luck would have it, you are still alive and kicking.
  522. >You try to sit up in order to survey your surroundings, but your body doesn't allow it.
  523. >You audibly groan in both pain and annoyance, with your body being like this you can't move.
  524. >Suddenly you hear someone call out to you from where you're lying.
  525. >???: "Don't move, you've taken quite a hit...if you keep doing that I'm going to have to re do my work."
  526. "W...what, whose there?"
  527. >You move your neck in order to get a look around, only to find that you're in an attic of some sort.
  528. >Without a whole in the roof you come to the conclusion that somep0ny has moved you to another building.
  529. >Whoever it was, must have been quite a strong p0ny, probably an earth p0ny.
  530. >???" OH! Um...now that you're awake...I guess I should fill you in on what happened huh?"
  531. "Yes...that'd be nice...ouch."
  532. >???: "Well let me start off by saying I'm a huge fan of well...you."
  533. >Wait, what?
  534. "W...what?"
  535. >That's when you feel somep0ny take your hand in their...hooves.
  536. >Whoever saved you seems to...really like your hands.
  537. >Seriously they're rubbing their hooves all over it, this is weird.
  538. >???: "The name's Lyra Heartstrings, and I'm the unicorn that just saved your life!"
  539.
