  3. An offense-defense asymmetrical objective match—one that’s been a long time coming! Sonika is graded by Enjoyment, Creativity, and Effectiveness while Reese is graded by Subtlety, Creativity and Effectiveness; each’s Creativity and Effectiveness track very well to existing constitutional analysis, while Resse’s Subtlety goes towards Logistics/Counterplay/Competency and Sonika’s Enjoyment goes towards Narrative/Planning. All in all, grading by the execution of the intent.
  4.
  5. For a strat playing defense, Sonika has errant tech that rebuffs particular approaches by Reese (Competency), but doesn’t quite arise to a comprehensive defense. (Logistics/Planning/Counterplay) Rather than looking at the range of options Reese has and the kind of pressure he can exert or shore up activities’ points of failure, the strat presumes at individual tactics and actions that—even without having read Reese’s strat—I foresee materially affecting the match or the sabotage.
  6.
  7. I think the decision to preemptively ward off Reese is a very compelling one, but I find it underwritten. While this is partially due to the lack of maps, the mere invocation of Private Investigator does not suffice to spot and then launch projectiles at Reese without detail of what to look out for (hiding spots, potential points of entrance, conditions warranting high alert, etc.). (Logistics/Competency)

  9. To speak to the objective’s prongs, even if some of the plays are Creative, I find their Effectiveness somewhat lacking for the lack of circumspect—challenging Reese to a dance off can only work so well. The Narrative makes Enjoyment is a bit difficult to judge with respect to the objective—Sonika is not having a good time—but given the role the Narrative plays in Jojolities such as Sonika’s in the instant case, I’m more inclined to consider it more robustly there. For now, I think [6] is reasonable.
  10.
  11. I have less to say about Reese’s strat. Focusing on particular pain points for Sonika’s activities, the sabotage is robust in providing multiple ways for the activity to be frustrated. Part of what leaves me at a loss for words is the strat’s self-evident level of detail, a personal favorite being the deduction that Sonika likely has to use her credit card to make particular purchases, and then targeting the card reader—and even if that doesn’t work there’s a wealth of other pressure points.
  12.
  13. While it is not dispositive, such laconicity often is a mark of high scores; here, for the high levels of specificity (Competency/Creativity/Logistics/Planning), I think an [8] is reasonable.

  17. tarting with Reese, this is an eminently well constructed and well reasoned strategy. For the most part, I think that you do an excellent job meting out Reese’s dubious version of justice, with the animals being used for singular attempts on Sonika’s day that all build up over time. I appreciate that Reese doesn’t bank on getting off the big-ticket sabotage like taking her purse while not entirely discounting that they could happen.
  18.
  19. I think the main weaknesses are that there were a few areas that I felt his tactics would take longer than the minute that Reese has to work with, notably with using Octavius on the arcade cabinet to mess with it, but these were relatively far between. I also think that Reese has several intense callouts, specifically with sabotaging the card reader, that wowed me personally.
  20.
  21. Overall, I think this strategy gets a 7/10. There’s very little I have to complain about and the weaknesses that do exist aren’t fundamentally ruinous to the strategy. Good job!
  22.
  23. For Sonika, to get it out of the way while there are several periods where Sonika doesn’t have a good time due to her own situation, I think that being a Day Enjoyer isn’t necessarily hostile to having a cathartic situation or making some strong realizations about yourself. These sections are all well written and further Sonika’s character arc; they are being positively scored by me.
  24.
  25. As for the rest of Sonika’s day, I think that there are a few individually genius plays (ex. The ice cream) and the overall plan for the theatre was very strong. That said, I think it’s held back somewhat by the preparation for Reese otherwise being sort of generalized. The play patterns of keeping track of him and warning him off were a bit too generalized given how Sonika would need to keep track of his nonsense all the while of doing her activities. I think that the section with her in the woods is especially vulnerable; that said, it does call out Reese’s methods of interacting with her more directly.
  26.
  27. Overall, I think a low 7/10 is warranted; held up by a strong central narrative for Sonika emotionally and a few strong callouts. Good job here!

  31. Starting with Reese, I think this is a solid 7. The sabotage definitely works on a subtlety level, and that in particular seems to be the focus. Most of it seems fairly effective, if at times a bit light thanks to the emphasis on that Subtlety. And for creativity, you definitely make use of the full run of your abilities. A bit more oomph at points (DVNO DANCE springs to mind) would’ve taken this to an 8 in my opinion.
  32.
  33. As for Sonika, a similarly solid 7 - your plans for having a good time are solid and fairly creative, making good use of the properties of Chain of Prospit. I do think your plans to avoid sabotage are a little bit lacking - while many of them are useful, they can be a bit circumstantial without any concrete guarantee that they’ll fully blunt a sabotage attempt.
