Philo Beddoe is an easy-going trucker and a great fist-fighter. With two friends - Orville, who promotes prize-fights for him, and Clyde, the orangutan he won on a bet - he roams the San Fernando Valley in search of cold beer, country music and the occasional punch-up. But he is floored himself by a dainty little country and western singer, who gives him the slip when she realizes he's getting too serious. Phil, Clyde and Orville set off in pursuit, pestered by bikers.

Plot is simple: Philo has fallen in love with country/western songstress Locke and entails some adventures in his pursuit. Lewis lends some able, amiable support as Philo&#39;s best bud and fellow beer drinking good ol&#39; boy. Fine jukebox offering of C&amp;W and filmed on location in sunny Bakersfield, California.<br/><br/>Redneck humor was never this pugnacious!
Philo, a guy who makes a living picking fights, meets a sexy country singer and goes out with her... eventhough she has a boyfriend.  When he finds out one day that she has left, Philo, his brother, and Clyde, Philo&#39;s pet orangutan drive across the country to find her.  A biker gang and some cops pursue.  A very boring and dumb movie, with very few funny parts.  The acting is decent, but everything else just doesn&#39;t cut it.  Terrible camerawork and an awful script make this one to avoid.
