  5. Volunteer A person who works on behalf of a global Bible translation affiliate organization but who is financially independent, not a Wycliffe member. This could include working remotely or onsite in any country, full-time, part-time, short-term, or long-term.

  7. Member A person who has formally joined a Wycliffe organization.

  9. Employee A person who works as an hourly or salaried employee. Understand in advance that mission organizations do NOT hire many people at all, and those they do hire are mostly hourly employees.

  11. Applicant A person who is interested in or who has started the Wycliffe membership application process. A member works full-time. The member’s salary comes through financial partners who donate through a Wycliffe organization.

  13. GSP Global Service Program (GSP), only for USA citizens, is a quick way to help individuals engage in the task of Bible translation. Participants serve for six months to two years. During this time they can choose to complete all the requirements to become a full member of Wycliffe USA.
