  2. Does that happen in an ISJ?
  3. I know a bit about that phenomenon, but I've never heard of that happening
  4.
  5. 오유07/07/2019
  6. I take that back, I've heard of grips. I just couldn't picture it at the time. I'll need to to more research on it
  7. I don't know if anybody else has seen my drama-filled post about family on the forum, but now I'm wondering
  8. [t!] TatsumakiBOT07/07/2019
  9.
  10. @오유 has leveled up! As poisonous as a(n) iris ❀...
  11.
  12. 오유07/07/2019
  13. Is it possible for someone who has difficulty reading other people's emotions to have high Fe?
  14. Like an ISFJ
  15.
  16. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  17. Most definitely
  18. Reading people in general comes with practice and persistence
  19. It depends on your level of exposure and your focus on building that skill
  20.
  21. 오유07/07/2019
  22. I notice I pay attention to people's emotions to protect my own security a lot of the time, but I'm hardly ever right in guessing their true state. I don't know what could be causing that problem, though
  23. And this morning I woke up fighting myself. Every thought I had, I fought. "This is the way it's supposed to be." "How do you know?" "You're always like this! Not everything has a 'supposed to'! Why is this wired into your being..."
  24. I guess that's Ti
  25. And thanks for the response
  26.
  27. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  28. That sounds more 6 than Ti lol
  29. Are you an ennea 6 or 6 fixer? Or are you also unsure of enneagram?
  30.
  31. 오유07/07/2019
  32. I don't know what I am in that system. People have told me I could be 2, 3, 6, or 9
  33. Those are the most common observations I've gotten over the past week
  34.
  35. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  36. I see
  37.
  38. 오유07/07/2019
  39. Oh, and 5
  40.
  41. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  42. Mmm interesting
  43. The suggestions seem to gear very heavy towards attachment types
  44. I have a bit of time on my hands atm, I might skim through this/your questionaire and see if I can be helpful in any way
  45.
  46. 오유07/07/2019
  47. If you want to, go 'head
  48. There's multiple posted in that thread as well as that test Robo told me to take
  49. It's in the chat history above
  50. I feel like every test I take doesn't reflect me, though
  51. I tend to think I'm more logical than I am :stuck_out_tongue:
  52.
  53. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  54. I mean, you do score higher on the logic functions than ethical
  55. But you can be an ethics oriented type and still be very logical so eh
  56. 오유07/07/2019
  57. Mm, I see
  58.
  59. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  60. Your results are weird haha, both Si and Ne in first place
  61.
  62. 오유07/07/2019
  63. I know
  64. I have weird results in my thread, too
  65. Te and Ti neck and neck
  66. Not first, but in second
  67.
  68. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  69. That’s the issue with tests
  70. They’re kind of trash
  71.
  72. 오유07/07/2019
  73. I agree. I've always thought they're easy to manipulate haha
  74. I thought I was super smart in high school because I could guess what they were aiming at and I hadn't studied MBTI
  75. But eh, I guess it's not hard to guess
  76.
  77. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  78. Definitely a 63x combo enneagram wise
  79. I'm reading through your thread now, dichotomy wise you seem like an even split between F and T
  80.
  81. 오유07/07/2019
  82. I also have this: https://www.typologycentral.com/forums/member-blogs/101771-blazing-paddles-rowing-sea-time-fiery-bum.html
  83.
  84. Ooh, a six three
  85. I don't know if I like that, haha
  86. The three description always rubs me the wrong way when I read it
  87. If you had to summarize what that type is, what would you say it is?
  88.
  89. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  90. 3 descriptions are one of the worst things I have ever read tbh
  91. Hold on I’ve written some blurbs and I can quote why I think that way
  92. 3s aren’t half as bad as they seem, half the 3 descriptions describe disintegrated 6s if we are being honest haha
  93.
  94. 오유07/07/2019
  95. Okay, thanks
  96. [t!] TatsumakiBOT07/07/2019
  97. | awbro leveled up!

  100. Here's one that I briefly touch on 3: https://krayzkrayfishart.tumblr.com/post/186083027987/triadic-relations-attachment-triad-object
  101. Tumblr
  102. Radical Doubt
  103. Radical Doubt
  104. Triadic Relations: Attachment
  105. Triad: Object Relations
  106. Types Included: 3, 6, 9
  107. Attachment types relate and interact with the world by connecting to things in the external world that they see as...
  108.
  109. Uhg my wifi's being a bitch, I'm better off just explaining
  110. Essentially with 3, it's really not all about attention seeking or narcissism, but about finding traits that you consider valuable and useful and integrating them into yourself
  111. Type 3 fears that they are worthless, and since their a shame type, they believe that it is their intrinsic traits and flaws which can make them worthless, thus there is a tendency to look outwards to fix those and integrate what is better
  112. There's also a societal factor to 3, being that it's an attachment type. Of course there are incredibly "big headed" three's who believe that arrogance, charisma, and plowing towards a goal and acquiring status without thinking of anyone else is the most useful way to go about things, but that's not the case for all 3s
  113. Often, humbleness, individuality, and self sacrifice are all seen as incredibly useful and valuable traits to have by a wide variety of people, so a lot of 3s end up taking things like that
  114. They can sometimes come across big headed because they believe that most of their flaws can eventually be mitigated (in healthy states of course) and, in core position, aren't afraid to admit they did a good job. Most people take praising and saying you did a good job as gloating, so that's a thing too.
  115. Also this: https://krayzkrayfishart.tumblr.com/post/178263393607/monologue-regarding-the-3-core
  116. Tumblr
  117. Radical Doubt
  118. Monologue Regarding The 3 Core
  119. Thought it might be interesting to share some thoughts from my 3 core friend (3w2 so/sx ESTP if you care) As I've studied the enneagram types, being as blatantly superego as I am, I've found that...
  120.
  121. I don't think you're a 3 core though
  122. I think 6 might make more sesne
  123. [Also I'm listening to your audio recording atm)
  124.
  125. 오유07/07/2019
  126. Some of these terms I've read about but have never delved into deeply. Does "core" mean that middle number in the sequence of three? Haha, I really have no clue
  127. Ah, cool
  128. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  129. Core means like main type
  130. You tend to have 3 types in the enneagram theory, but the order of which they influence you varies
  131. Ie. My three types are 136, but I am most 6, so 6 is my core
  132. 오유07/07/2019
  133. At the end I started to get theatrical because I just felt like it. I don't know how to explain it. I like to take on personas though I'm not good at it
  134. Ah, I see
  135. However, I tried to remain true to myself despite the change in tone
  136.
  137. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  138. Alright, I'm going to ask you some questions to help narrow down your type dichotomy wise, maybe functionally
  139. First one, in your audio questionnaire, you say that you are often criticized for being "too critical." What does this mean to you? Is there a specific kind of thing that you tend to criticize most? Or are you just generally critical? How does it manifest?
  140. Geez I've been trying to get into socionics recently, you sound like you're Te valuing in the socionics setting. The two theories aren't the same obviously, but I'm thinking you might be Te rather than Fe
  141.
  142. 오유07/07/2019
  143. Hmm, let me try to explain
  144. I'll come up with a scenario
  145. So, like, I'll be reading a story I'm trying to critique for "karma" points on this one site
  146. And I'll be telling my mom as she sits near me all the problems I see with it
  147. And I'll tell her, "this is how I want you to critique me"
  148. And she'll say, "That's too deep. It's too intense."
  149. "I just want to say if I liked it or not," she'll say
  150. And I'll continue explaining why it's important to critique me from an objective point of view
  151. As much as I love to be praised, I need the tough love
  152. Something like that
  153.
  154. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  155. I see
  156. Would it be correct to see that you tend to be be focused heavily on the quality of things?
  157. Even in your questionnaire, you seem to speak dispassionately, you seem to be more on the Te end of things I believe
  158. 오유07/07/2019
  159. Yes, I like quality. Like, for instance, I'm always checking for typos in my own writing and altering the flow of paragraphs
  160. But before I have to alter it, I try to phrase things correctly the first time to save time
  161.
  162. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  163. Hmm
  164. Also I don't think you have a 9 fix
  165. You sound more like a 1 fixer
  166. Another question, how do you define conflict?
  167.
  168. 오유07/07/2019
  169. Hmm, I don't know. If someone disagrees with me, or I don't read them correctly and then everyone's angry or upset
  170.
  171. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  172. How do you deal with anger? Do you ever feel as though you have to justify your anger or it's expression?
  173. If so, why or why not?
  174.
  175. 오유07/07/2019
  176. Yes, I do feel I have to justify it, at least in my house. People always say my anger is irrational and I'm taking my emotions out on other people, which I don't know is true
  177. I'll feel angry and not have a personal need to justify it, just say I'm angry. But my mom will demand that I apply logic to the anger of some sort
  178. It's hard to explain
  179. I don't tend to question particularly deeply in the moment why I'm angry, which I could improve on
  180. But if I'm angry I tend to wield it like a weapon, using it to stab people
  181. That's only in really heightened states, though
  182.
  183. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  184. Hmm
  185. Do you find that you're relatively comfortable expressing anger as a whole? When do you hold back? When are you most comfortable expressing that?
  186. Would you say that at times you can take a black and white stance on things? Do you tend to have strong opinions?
  187.
  188. 오유07/07/2019
  189. I've been told I am black-and-white
  190. I try to keep an open mind but I tend to want definitive answers, an explanation that covers everything and that will work in any situation
  191. With anger... Hmm. It really depends on the person
  192. As I got older it became harder to express anger outwardly for some reason
  193. But I try my best to show it if need be
  194. Sometimes my face can be really expressive when I don't want it to be
  195.
  196. RadicallyDramatic07/07/2019
  197. Hmm...
  198. I think there's a chance you're a 631
  199. I have to go for now, and I'm eventually going to come back and provide a more detailed analysis
  200. And probably ask more questions if no one gets here before me
  201. But I think you might be an ISTJ 631 (so/sp)
  202.
  203. 오유07/07/2019
  204. Okay, gotcha. I have to go as well. Thank you for the analysis! I really appreciate it
  205.
  206. 오유07/07/2019
  207. I don't know if this helps but I have to write it somewhere. I often feel my way of viewing the world is clouded with subjectivity. It's probably Si I'm talking about. Whatever it is, I constantly feel the need to let things go more and be active and do as I please, but there's an inner part to me that just can't budge from the rules
  208. It's pretty intense SJing if I do say
  209.
  210. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧07/07/2019
  211. Interesting
  212.
  213. 오유07/07/2019
  214. I have a real hard time learning how to have rules that change according to circumstance, unless there's a pattern involved
  215. It could be intelligence related (and I wouldn't be surprised if it is) but it could be Si
  216. At work today I was ranting inwardly at myself for not being able to adapt quickly
  217. And my mind only seems to want to remember certain things
  218. Other things it can let go of, like repetitive action
  219. But some memories just stick like glue and they're the only windows to the past I have
  220. And a lot of the time, there is no sound to the memory, only what I envision what would have gone with it
  221. Just images and maybe feelings
  222. And all painfully subjective, which drives me nuts :stuck_out_tongue:
  223. Anyway, if that helps, :ok_hand:
  224.
  225. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧07/07/2019
  226. I think memories are pretty subjective for everyone. And people get into trouble when they think their memories are completely objective.
  227.
  228. 오유07/07/2019
  229. True
  230. Haha, I ramble without knowing what to say
  231. I guess I don't say anything useful pff
  232. Fake-deep to a T
  233.
  234. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧07/07/2019

  252.
  253. 오유07/09/2019
  254. Any other ideas?
  255.
  256. 오유07/13/2019
  257. I'm wondering if I'm just an off-brand ISFJ
  258.
  259. RadicallyDramatic08/08/2019
  260. @오유 You very well could be. How much further have you gotten in getting to the bottom of your type? I haven't been able to follow your thread on TypeC
  261. Also sorry that this wasn't attended to at all. Personally, I was drowning in my internship lol
  262.
  263. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧08/08/2019

  267. That's fine

  283. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧08/11/2019

  293. Cool, I'll check it out
  294. 오유08/11/2019
  295. In the meantime, I'll just leave these here. I need new hobbies that are separate from my old friends from high school, but I have to admit that I find certain k-pop idols to be enigmatic or just doofuses that are fun to watch. SHINee's Key and Taemin are like me in certain ways.

  350. Your husband, Lady Lavender, brought that up
  351. Why three? I spent most of my teenhood freaking out because I seemed to have no true sense of self and bent to the will of everyone, while simultaneously desiring to obtain all these advanced degrees and having no motivation to get there
  352. I felt ashamed about everything "me" because what was "me" was not "them"

  513. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  514. In regard to Si, there may be some use seen. But it's not dominant or auxiliary. What I did end up seeing was Ti use. I am unsure if it is dominant or auxiliary. Based on the pastebin of the session from Dumplings, Ti is in the auxiliary position.
  515. I did try to look for Ni. I did not see any use of that.

  542. Like the usage of similes and metaphors and shit
  543. I only use them if I need to
  544. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  545. Ni isn't about being abstract.
  546. Lord Lavender (Ladys Munchkin)09/23/2019
  547. I think your abstraction is due to your 5w6 myself
  548. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  549. It's a time oriented function.
  550. If that is the case, both Ne and Ni are abstract in this sense. But they perceive information based upon the conceptual. It could have little to no use in the concrete world.
  551. Ni in the tertiary position would mean you look forward, and attempt to piece how things may play together, with the assistance of your auxiliary function. Since it is tertiary, it will not be seen often. It's an introverted function, so it's more inward.
  552. 오유09/23/2019

  584. I’m just wondering where the confusion is coming from and I’m trying to see if I can reconcile it with my own internal sense of logic
  585. fracius09/23/2019
  586. Extroverted intuition is an extroverted, irrational, and static information element. It is also called Ne, I, intuition of possibilities, or black intuition.
  587.
  588. Ne is generally associated with the ability to recognize possibilities, create new opportunities and new beginnings, recognize talent and natural propensities in others, reconcile differing perspectives and viewpoints, rapidly generate ideas, and be led by one's intellectual curiosity and stimulate curiosity in others.
  589.
  590. Types that value Ne prefer to try out an opportunity rather than consider all possible ways in which it could not work out. They pick a few options and stick with them, in contrast to introverted intuition (Ni) types who pick one option and continue to doubt that option. They enjoy discussing unusual insights into the nature of the world and crazy out-there ideas, like space elevators. Typical Ne quadra humor juxtaposes seemingly unrelated phenomena.
  591.
  592.
  593.
  594. Introverted intuition is an introverted, irrational, and dynamic information element. It is also called Ni, T, temporal intuition, or white intuition. Ni is generally associated with the ability to recognize the unfolding of processes over time (how one event leads to another), have visions of the past and future, develop mental imagery, and see intangible hints of relationships between processes or objects. Types that value Ni always like to have in mind a specific plan for how their life will develop in the future. Thus they have little time for the concept of "living for the moment" or "making the best of the present". They generally engage in pure leisure activities only for short periods of time, and even then their leisure activities generally involve a psychologically demanding or competitive aspect.

  601. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  602. also having your own internal sense of logic, could arguably be higher Ti use, but I digress.
  603. You can also look at mbti-notes or the site typeinmind, if you want a better understanding of the functions, and how they act in different placements.
  604. fracius09/23/2019
  605. Differences between Ti and Te
  606. Ti -- Modifies/understands an external system via internal rules/principles.
  607. Te -- Modifies/understands an external system via external rules/procedures.
  608. Extroverted Thinking (Te):
  609. Extroverted thinking seeks to impose order on the external environment as efficiently and logically as possible. It values productivity above all else and is a results-based, action-oriented function. Extroverted thinking naturally implements concrete plans for accomplishing goals and is quick to make decisions.
  610. People who lead with extroverted thinking are frank, decisive and highly productive in every capacity. They are natural leaders in the workplace as they are quick to take charge and impose order. Dominant extroverted thinkers may come across as bossy or opinionated to those who lack the function, but in reality they are simply pointing out what they believe to be the most efficient course of action for everyone involved.
  611. Introverted Thinking (Ti):
  612. Introverted thinking is an information-gathering function that seeks to form a framework for how the world works on a concrete, tangible level. It is adept at understanding systems and naturally notices inconsistencies within them. Introverted thinking seeks a thorough understanding of how things work – it wants to deconstruct things to look at the individual parts and see how things function as a whole.
  613. People who lead with introverted thinking are logical, systematic and objective to a fault. They enjoy finding ‘short-cuts’ that increase efficiency within a given system. Ti-dominants are often heavily introverted, as they take a great deal of time to understand how things work before they feel comfortable sharing or acting on their knowledge.
  614. Te is about objective facts, Ti is about subjective principles. A Ti user cares more about the logical system they have created than individual facts. Te users care more
  615. about the facts themselves.
  616. Ti or Te users can be stubborn and unchanging in their viewpoints if you don't present things the right way. Often times either is capable of coming to the same truth through different routes.
  617. The Ti user may deny a fact that throws a wrench in their system. A Te user may disregard a principle because he doesn't see it through all the facts.
  618. Healthy Ti users can configure an understanding of something with limited facts. This means they can quickly make sense of something they haven't encountered before. They can take principles they've gathered from one subject and apply it towards another. The best example I can think of is geometry. An unhealthy user can be something like a conspiracy theorist, who ignores some facts and only accepts those that agree with his line of thinking. The end result is something that divulges completely from reality but will still be logically consistent.
  619. Healthy Te can change its thinking more easily because it is usually only taking specific facts into consideration instead of a system. If a fact is demonstrated to be false, Te won't hold onto it's conclusions. Te is more like applied sciences than mathematics. If you try to use principles instead of facts to convince Te you probably won't have much luck.

  625. Let’s start from square one
  626. I don’t immediately throw out facts just because someone says they’re false
  627. Anyone can say something’s false, but is it? And that’s where the fun comes in

  637. @오유, in the best of your ability, can you explain the functions you believe you may possess?
  638. 오유09/23/2019
  639. Yes, I’ll do so when I get home. I’m still at work.
  640. Despionnage09/23/2019
  641. All good
  642. 오유09/23/2019
  643. Alright. I won't consider myself an MBTI expert, but I have read a wealth of literature on the functions from various sources, including many that have been mentioned on this server. The problem that I run into is identifying them in myself, because while I consider myself decently self-aware, I for some reason can't pinpoint my own cognitive processes. So sit tight while I explain (or, argue out of my ass).
  644. Ti: I am very analytical, though I wouldn't say it's my nature to analyze everything I see. However, it's my natural inclination to ask "why" and probe ad nauseam until I find the exact reason for a certain occurrence. In recent years, I've slowed down in order to reorient, because I can get lost in my thoughts and not come out for hours. And I never know if my conclusion is correct despite it seeming so.
  645. Te: When I get an idea, I immediately want to put my thoughts to words. My thoughts are in words and I want to document them so other people can see them and I can have the pleasure of knowing they're out there, to give me credibility. Whenever I ask myself a question about reality, I start from the base of, "Okay, people think this, but what do I think? What's true?" So I start from objectively agreed upon facts a lot of the time and move inward.
  646. Se: I don't believe I use this function very well, if at all. If this function demands spatial awareness and good reaction time, then yes, I fit the bill for a user of this function. If it's taking in reality as it objectively is... perhaps sometimes, but mostly not. I enjoy a fair amount of variety and enjoy things like roller coasters and risk taking because I trust my ability to control myself in a chaotic environment.
  647. Si: I've always related to this function no matter how it's described because I have a "mental filing cabinet" of data in my head and I can quickly access it to make sense of my thoughts. That's why I can put them to words so easily, and why some might perceive me as well-spoken. But I wouldn't say it's natural for me to speak in perfect textbook grammar all the time despite my best efforts. I also enjoy consistency in my environment most times.
  648. Fe: I think I have a fair command of this function. It's always driven me nuts how I consider the will of other people in my decisions, almost to a degree unfair to me -- I want the best for everyone on a deep level. However, I can be quite terse, cold, and blunt to a fault, so that's perhaps why most people think I barely use this function.
  649. Fi: I doubt this function is akin to "selfishness," but I would agree it's knowing what you want emotionally all the time, every time. I can say I usually know what I want from my emotions, and what I'm feeling, and I will stand up for what I believe if I think the context is appropriate.
  650. Ne: I'm fairly good with puns and predicting what will come out of someone's mouth given enough context clues. This works with songs or other media as well. I can often surprise myself with the way I can do this, but I'm not a master of it by any means. If you start me on a rhyming challenge, I can come up with plenty of rhymes, but pushing the rhymes into something coherent is something different.
  651. Ni: Do I use this function? Perhaps I emulate it. I have planned out various courses of action for my future and have made efforts to organize the present so my future will be an excellent reflection of my past. Such efforts include planning my academic career and what I'll need in that endeavor. But the follow-through is not there. However, I can get carried away dreaming about possible futures and mixing them together.
  652. phew Is that good enough?
  653. 오유09/23/2019
  654. @Despionnage Would you say I've defined things correctly here?
  655. Despionnage09/23/2019
  656. It appears you have hit a few stereotypes on the head but in terms of functions, it seems like you missed them a bit.

  691. With you saying Si is a "mental filing cabinet", I understand that people say this, but this is a characteristic of all the introverted functions, not just Si. Most of the rest is just added on to that. Consistency in the environment is Te, not Si.
  692.
  693. Fe isn't really about wanting the best for everyone. Considering the will of others is actually more Se than Fe. Fe is all about understanding the energy in the environment, which sounds mystical if I'm honest. It just makes it where you're more affected by the emotional environment.
  694.
  695. Fi. You did cover a manifestation of Fi, I applaud you. The interesting thing is that Fi isn't just about evaluating this for yourself, but for others as well.
  696.
  697. Ne. I should have expected that you'll say this. Many many people consider Ne to be coming up with random stuff out of your head, but just being random isn't really Ne. Just because you can come up with puns, that doesn't mean you're using Ne. Ne is understanding the possibilities and potential of people and events.
  698.
  699. Ni. Actually, not bad. You covered a good manifestation of it. Understanding the progression of events commonly makes a person good at planning ahead and organizing the happenings of the present into the future.
  700. 오유09/23/2019
  701. I could have described them a bit better, I suppose
  702. I borrowed some of my understanding from supposed professional typists
  703. I won't claim to know more than I do, though
  704. If there's any other way I can help you help me, I'd be glad to do it
  705. Would there be anything like that I could do, @Despionnage? I have my reasons for being so pushy lol
  706. Despionnage09/23/2019
  707. A good thing to know about the functions is that there's at least two factors that goes into them and that is preference and the affect that using them have on you.
  708. For example, when describing Ti, you said:
  709. And I never know if my conclusion is correct despite it seeming so
  710. This tells me that the particular function you are referring to isn't that strong. The affect it has on you is the uncertainty if the conclusion.
  711. 오유09/23/2019
  712. That's true
  713. I'd agree with that
  714. There are times when I can be quite accurate
  715. It's the deeper stuff I'm talking about here, though
  716. The difference between knowing someone wants to eat the cake as opposed to the shrimp
  717. And what the true nature of reality is, dig?
  718. Despionnage09/23/2019
  719. Can you expand on you saying "the exact reason for an occurence"? I'm curious as to what you refer to as an "occurence".
  720. 오유09/23/2019
  721. Alright, one moment
  722. Let's see. If my boss wants to talk to me, I can come up with a myriad reasons why she might want to do that. I go through a mental checklist of past events or things I've noticed about her that might have lead up to her talking to me
  723. Sometimes I can go, "Oh it's about that email" almost instantly
  724. But other times the reasons are more obscure
  725. Especially if I'm trying to determine, "Why now, as opposed to earlier?" or other such questions
  726. Despionnage09/23/2019
  727. If it is connecting events together, then yes, it's Ni.
  728. 오유09/23/2019
  729. Hmm, interesting
  730. That's basically the extent of my abilities, though
  731. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  732. Would making collages themed around one person be Ni in action?
  733. As in, a collage that represents their personality, how they seem?
  734. Despionnage09/23/2019
  735. Making a collage isn't really characteristic of any function. Any type could probably do that effectively if they tried.
  736. 오유09/23/2019
  737. Maybe getting it right would be, I 'unno
  738. Despionnage09/23/2019
  739. Honestly, a lot of times, the dominant function does things without you even realizing it's happening.
  740. 오유09/23/2019
  741. I wonder. While you're here, Des, let me ask you this
  742. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  743. And Ni is so introverted that I can imagine it takes awhile for Ni doms to realize they're even using it at all.
  744. 오유09/23/2019
  745. As a teenager I did some major introspection, and I won't say what function this could be, but here: I figured out my mom was acting abusive toward me and that my father and mother were in a destructive behavior pattern, putting me in the middle
  746. So I tried to make it so they stopped doing that
  747. Because I wanted their relationship to heal
  748. And get myself out of the middle
  749. So I started acting differently to try to extricate myself
  750. And where I am now isn't good, but it's much better because I made sure that I asserted my independence
  751. Like saying that an old car in the garage could be mine instead of being driven everywhere
  752. And other stuff
  753. I basically tried to figure out the dynamics of everyone around me and re-work them
  754. But it was a sudden change from my previous self
  755. Despionnage09/23/2019
  756. Weird thing, but I think it really depends on why you wanted to get out of the middle.
  757. 오유09/23/2019
  758. I didn't want to be used
  759. And eventually I realized not being used myself would heal us all
  760. I wanted to be free
  761. And pursue a life I knew i could have outside my house
  762. @Despionnage To me that seems... stereotypical teenager. What say you?
  763. Despionnage09/23/2019
  764. Honestly does lol. At a younger age, a lot of people show a stereotypical Se, but that doesn't mean they have a strong Se.
  765. 오유09/23/2019
  766. Hmm, then what’s your conclusion?
  767. I’d try to give you more but I wouldn’t know what to give
  768. I’m up for anything
  769. Name it, I’ll do it
  770. Despionnage09/23/2019
  771. From what I've read, it still seems like NiTe
  772. 오유09/23/2019
  773. Just a bastard attempt at it, perhaps haha
  774. What about it seems that way? I might be able to elaborate
  775. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  776. I don't see that at all tbh.
  777. Des, what are you basing that off of?
  778. Despionnage09/23/2019
  779. From the point I asked my first question to here.
  780. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  781. How do you see Ni and Te?
  782. Also, Ni-Te combo is not about just planning.
  783. Despionnage09/23/2019
  784. No one said it was lol
  785. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  786. awbroToday at 8:45 PM
  787. Eh... I don't see myself as someone who plans. In fact I rarely ever do. The most planning I do is with my education and what clothes I'll wear the next day haha
  788. I'm not some all-powerful future seer
  789. 오유09/23/2019
  790. I may simplify but it's just to get the point across
  791. Despionnage09/23/2019
  792. That was in talking about Ni.
  793. 오유09/23/2019
  794. Yes, that's evident
  795. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  796. Ni is not about just planning.
  797. Despionnage09/23/2019
  798. I've said this
  799. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  800. Then you know.
  801. 오유09/23/2019
  802. Ni is whatever definition I have in my head but can't articulate
  803. Despionnage09/23/2019
  804. Ni is the progression of events.
  805. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  806. I am going to say it point blank: Awbro is not INTJ. While it's fine to consider it, I've seen no evidence of that, from her last typing session in Dumplings. I would have read above but cba.
  807. 오유09/23/2019
  808. I know I'm not, thank you
  809. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  810. I was telling Des.
  811. Despionnage09/23/2019
  812. cba?
  813. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  814. can't be arsed.
  815. Despionnage09/23/2019
  816. Ah
  817. Well, I'm not going to argue about it. If that's what you think, so be it.
  818. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  819. If I saw any evidence of auxiliary Se honestly, I would have thrown it out there into this channel. But I barely saw any.
  820. It's not even arguing. It's based on what I've read. But do you I guess.
  821. 오유09/23/2019
  822. Well, I don't want you to be angry, @Despionnage
  823. I'm not arguing either
  824. Despionnage09/23/2019
  825. I'm not angry, I just know how these conversations usually go.
  826. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  827. He probably isn't angry, but idk
  828. I'm not either
  829. 오유09/23/2019
  830. I'm just looking for the inconsistency in the results
  831. I appreciate the analysis
  832. And I've added it to my knowledge of what people think of me
  833. Because it's interesting
  834. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  835. Honestly the more you speak, there more I see Ti use. I guess it's muted for you.
  836. but no worries. glad you found what people have said here, helpful.
  837. 오유09/23/2019
  838. I find everything helpful
  839. People just don't seem to find me helpful
  840. I don't exactly have a people-oriented personality
  841. So I apologize if what I said came off too blunt or harsh
  842. I love to dig in deep to the minutia of shit and I will not stop until you can tell me exactly "why" you think something
  843. My bad
  844. I guess I haven't learned
  845. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  846. Unsure if anything too blunt or harsh was said tbh. But yeah
  847. 오유09/23/2019
  848. welp I guess I don't know how to read situations haha
  849. When I said that, I meant "whatever made you quit talking"
  850. "Was it me being harsh?"
  851. "Annoying?"
  852. "What?"
  853. ...that kind of thing
  854. I don't speak in absolutes, I guess :person_shrugging:
  855. So to clarify, we have one vote for Ti usage and one for INTJ, correct?
  856. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  857. Mmm. I think that just the nature of this being text based was making it more awkward and possibly negative than it actually was.
  858. And possible J vs P style of communication
  859. J being more blunt and to the point
  860. Bloȿȿom Elric⨳09/23/2019
  861. dichotomies..
  862. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  863. *making it seem more awkward and negative
  864. 오유09/23/2019
  865. I'm sorry if I made anyone feel bad, and if y'all want me to drop asking questions of any type, I'll leave you alone and you can close the channel
  866. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  867. Oh no no no!
  868. That's not what I meant at all.
  869. Sorry, I have a headache and my thoughts aren't coming out as well as I'd like.
  870. I meant that I think the tone here was more difficult to read, probably because of personality quirks, but that I don't think anyone thought anyone else was being annoying or negative. Basically that y'all were trying to be very sensitive to each other and not be those things, and actually weren't...
  871. I'm excited that you may actually figure out your type!
  872. I don't want to close the channel.
  873. :GWergShibWink:
  874. RadicallyDramatic09/23/2019
  875. Yeah we definitely shouldn't close this tbh, we just got your channel active after all this time
  876. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  877. I apologize for stating things awkwardly.
  878. RadicallyDramatic09/23/2019
  879. It'd be a real shame to shut thing down
  880. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  881. Please keep asking questions!!!!!!!
  882. lol
  883. 오유09/23/2019
  884. Okay, if you're okay with it
  885. I'll try to be more sensitive
  886. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/23/2019
  887. No, that's not what I meant lol
  888. You were fine!
  889. I thought
  890. I was trying to be reassuring
  891. I didn't think you were blunt or harsh
  892. 오유09/27/2019
  893. I can't think of any more questions to ask
  894. But I'm determined to prove that I'm ISFJ somehow
  895. I just like the outside perceptions to line up with the internal logic lol
  896. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/28/2019
  897. :dogelaugh:
  898. I guess you could say why you think you are?
  899. 오유09/28/2019
  900. Wha?
  901. Lady Lavender(Lord's Wifey)09/28/2019
  902. Why you think you're ISFJ
  903. I can see it
  904. Why are you ESFJ on the forum btw?
  905. 오유09/28/2019
  906. I was joking, a bit
  907. It's a long story
  908. That Legion guy (?) thought I was ENFP and I started sending him videos of people I thought behaved similarly to me
  909. One of them happened to be Tyler Oakley
  910. And I looked up how he'd been typed before
  911. I was guessing ESFP or something
  912. Some people had put ESFJ
  913. And because that's similar to how I view myself I put that down
  914. To spite Legion
  915. Because no way in hell am I ENFP
  916. But listening to him go on and on about how developed my Ne is was hilarious
  917. And I did entertain the theory for a while, from the standpoint of: 'If my Ne is low, maybe if I behave as though it's high I'll get better at it'
  918. So I was being my usual trollish self
  919. phew
  920. And I would defend my ISFJ supposition but trying to word it so it's not, "I do this, therefore this" is difficult
  921. I am pretty good at tracking my thoughts, so I thought I wouldn't fall into the trap of "behaviorism," as I now know I fell into above
  922. So my apologies, I knew it wasn't right but I couldn't figure out the right way to word it
  923. I have people thoroughly (or at least quite) convinced I'm an ISTP or ENTP purely because I'm blunt
  924. But I'm just very good at suppressing my feelings (which are always around), in order to appear more logical and together, I guess
  925. Does that make sense? What are your ideas?
  926. Lady Lavender(Lord's Wifey)09/28/2019
  927. Legion thought I was ESFJ
  928. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  929. Legion thought I was INTJ
  930. He's notoriously bad at typing unfortunately
  931. Lady Lavender(Lord's Wifey)09/28/2019
  932. Better than draon
  933. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  934. I haven't seen Draon type but probably
  935. Lady Lavender(Lord's Wifey)09/28/2019
  936. He doesn't really
  937. Just gives you a type then leaves
  938. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  939. Nonetheless Awbro, you seem high Si
  940. Lady Lavender(Lord's Wifey)09/28/2019
  941. Indeed
  942. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  943. I'd see INTP before ISTP and frankly, ISFJ seems like a good bet
  944. Either 6w5 or 3w4 core tbh, you're not agreeable enough for a 9 core probably
  945. Especially if people are pegging you high Ti
  946. I could see your Ti being accentuated for sure though
  947. 오유09/28/2019
  948. For what reason?
  949. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  950. From the previous conversations I've saw from you here, you seem fairly systems oriented, meticulous, and oriented on keeping your own consistency in terms of your internal logic system
  951. And also in the way you speak I guess
  952. You seem more oriented towards your introverted functions than extroverted ones at the very least
  953. Si-Ti-Fe-Ne in a sense
  954. Lady Lavender(Lord's Wifey)09/28/2019
  955. I think that's common actually
  956. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  957. For sure
  958. Not sure if your Ti is actually good or if it's just prominent
  959. Nonetheless, you don't seem like a super "soft" ISFJ who bleeds out Fe, but the more technical subtype
  960. Which would suggest competency influence, hence 6w5 or 3w4
  961. Not the, a, those subtypes only exist in my own head
  962. I'm not making my own theory here lmao
  963. 오유09/28/2019
  964. How would you know if your Ti was actually good? Boy, that would disappoint me if it actually sucked and I was just leading myself on
  965. But it's interesting to get these perspectives, because I purposefully paid for one of those CS Joseph sessions to see how bad he'd mess it up. And he's the one who pegged me ISTP in about 5 minutes flat. Now everyone on his server save one very savvy girl is convinced I am that type. Heh
  966. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  967. By gauging how well you are at actually maintaining that logical consistency, how good the systems are you construct (not necessarily how realistic, but how sound they are), how willing you are to trust your own logic and work off it, alter and manipulate it based on incoming information. how good you are at picking up on those inconsistencies
  968. I don't think your Ti is bad, superficially it seems you use it decently if not well.
  969. Lmao rip
  970. 오유09/28/2019
  971. Hmm, then I must be certain to make sure I'm getting that Ti perfect
  972. RIP indeed
  973. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  974. Ti is weird, because it's not about even having correct logic, it's just about it being sound and fitting well together
  975. (I'm going to disappear again, I just wanted to give some input about your type... You seem Si dom to me, I was really shocked when people were giving you ENTP)
  976. (Even the whole transcript on Dumplings seemed Si to me, but people pegged it Ne so I questioned if I was a dumbass lmao)
  977. 오유09/28/2019
  978. I thought I was going a bit nuts, too
  979. Thanks for your input
  980. I think it's funny. I tried really hard there to express myself naturally, and it came out that way
  981. Granted, I was putting on just a bit of a persona, but still. It was like my deepest inner thoughts
  982. Now I'm wondering if I can perfect Ti
  983. It's like my favorite function lol
  984. RadicallyDramatic09/28/2019
  985. That’s valid, ironically I prefer Si as a Ti dom
  986. It seemed very honest, personas are hard to drop but your answers seemed natural
  987. Lady Lavender(Lord's Wifey)09/28/2019
  988. I like my Si
  989. A server typed me as ISFJ over voice and now I'm confused
  990. And bro said I could be ENFP :stuck_out_tongue:
  991. Comfort functions I guess
  992. 오유09/28/2019
  993. Oh, good. I'm glad they were natural. I didn't try to be too pretentious but it sure felt that way -- probably because Ti and Ne are lower so I felt I was pulling something out of my ass even if I was trying to be true to myself
  994. Si is cool I guess
  995. I mostly take it for granted XD
  996. The part I like best about fooling people with my lower functions is that they'll seem to be genuinely convinced I'm some intuitive type
  997. And they'll go, "wow, you're so interesting, I didn't leave the conversation because of that"
  998. "It must be your Ni"
  999. "It must be your high Ti"
  1000. "Your high Ne?"
  1001. lol nope
1002. Maybe... I'm just a person... that could be interesting
1003. Someone legit tho should explain how the head/heart/gut thing works
  1004. I know a bit about it
1005. But only because I gathered random data across different forums
  1006. ✧✶ɭน๓ιຖ❍นs✶✧09/29/2019
1007. Legion is terrible at typing
  1008. 오유09/29/2019
  1009. That he is
