Hello everyone, I’m addressing all of you regarding an unjustified FACEIT ban.
There are many aspects to this issue; however, I will only be touching on the parts that I believe are relevant to the story. Any other detail you would like to know, I will reply in comments.

I have installed cheats for a game called Escape from Tarkov. There is no excuse for why I did this, it was purely just for fun because the game is relatively new. There will be some of you that will be completely against this and I respect your opinion. Installing these cheats has created a “non-friendly” component in my PC which is embedded within the Window Kernel/Driver. I was not aware of this. Being the computer savvy person I am /s, I thought that having two OS’s (Main and Modified) would be sufficient. If I ever wanted to goof around in Tarkov, I would restart my computer and launch the injector on the modified OS, vice versa.

I will repeat, I did NOT cheat in CS:GO. When launching the FACEIT AC, I would assume that it detected the modified Kernal/Drivers due to the Tarkov cheats being installed. This is what presumably initiated the ban.

Does Faceit A/C honestly check if I'm cheating in the game? Regardless of what the circumstances are, EVEN if I was playing on FACEIT while the TARKOV cheat was running, how can they ban me for cheating in CS:GO? I'd understand if I had cheats for CS:GO that I didn't know might've been accidentally running and whatnot and I'd accept the ban, but that is simply not the case. NOTHING WAS EVER INJECTED/HOOKED INTO CS:GO. CS:GO WAS NOT MODIFIED IN ANYWAY. I WAS PLAYING VANILLA CSGO WITH NO FILES MODIFIED, NO CHEATS INJECTED, NOTHING TO GIVE ME AN ADVANTAGE, JUST VANILLA CS:GO. There were no CS:GO cheats present, there was no potential for CS:GO cheats to be used (SINCE I DO NOT HAVE ANY THAT THE A/C COULD EVEN PICK UP), and there was absolutely nothing that should've flagged me for CHEATING IN CS:GO on FACEIT.

Since when did FACEIT AC become the anti-cheat for each in every game. Why are they prioritizing on cheats on other games and banning people for cheating in CS:GO when that is not the case? Where in their FAQ do they state, “cheating in other games outside this platform will get you ban.” Nowhere.

FACEIT has decided to close this case and being the stubborn person I am, I seek justice. I believe that FACEIT should not dictate me for something I do outside of the platform. Yes, I did cheat in a game, but does that necessarily mean that I would cheat in CS as well? Many of you would think, YES, but that is simply not the case. I believe that FACEIT shouldn’t treat me as a cheater, unlike others that actually did and just tell me it’s justified.

There are so many other ways of finding out whether I’m guilty or not. The old-fashioned way, reviewing demos. I even offered stream evidence because I stream 90% of my games. They can probably even check the logs and see if it matches up with any of my claims. This company, THE company that developed THE revolutionary anti-cheat WILL have flaws in its system. They CANNOT completely rely on the system and swat away those who go against it. What’s the point of a FACEIT SUPPORT TEAM if all they do is go by the program and roll with it, am I correct? There will be false-positives in the system and FACEIT has to learn that they will exist.

I’m not writing this in hopes of getting un-ban (which I actually would like) but to inform you all that there are flaws in the FACEIT system, and I’m sure there are others that have faced the same circumstances as me. I’ve read countless articles and people receiving unjust bans due to having some malicious software completely unrelated and having no correlation with CS whatsoever, however FACEIT, being the wonderful company, decided to take action on what they do outside of their platform. I do not think this is fair. I do not think FACEIT should take action for what we do outside of their platform. I do not this FACEIT should completely lean on their AC and think that it is completely reliable.

In no way am I trying to degrade FACEIT’s reputation. They do have good intentions but there are flaws in their system they should try to patch in order to make it a more fair environment for all.

Many of you would say, “once a cheater, always a cheater,” but is that really the case? People put their feet up on furniture at home, does that mean everyone will put their feet up on desks at school? No. People smoke weed outside of school, does that mean everyone who smokes weed outside of school smoke weed in school out in the open? No. People drive recklessly out in an open field for fun, does that mean they drive the same way on a highway? No. These may be stupid examples but my point is that there are different priorities set for different platforms and just because you act one way on one platform doesn’t necessarily mean you act the same on others.

Background information: I’ve been playing this client for almost a year now. I was a level 10, grinded 5-6 hours almost every day for the past 2 months. And yes, I’m butthurt about it.
