  7. +matt karl __ Yes - I apologise. I have been getting a lot of auto-hate on this video. You have indeed written something interesting and it is worth pointing out why.
  8.
  9.
  10.
  11. The idea you are proposing is similar to the idea of watching a sunset and then climbing up on a ladder or ascending a building to see the sunset again. (As you go up you should see the Sun increasingly "reappear".)
  12.
  13.
  14.
  15. But the interesting thing you have written is that a plane flying in the opposite direction would not be changing elevation (it would be "wrapping around the Earth's alleged curvature).
  16.
  17.
  18.
  19. That means as the plane went further away it would be *purely* the Earth's alleged curvature that is responsible for causing the Moon to "disappear" again! (Because the "altitude" or "height" would be the same.)
  20.
  21.
  22.
  23. That is in contrast to the idea of going up a ladder/building. Going up a ladder or building - if the Earth is round - would be like travelling the opposite direction by however much is needed to get the height of the ladder/building in terms of alleged "curvature".
  24.
  25.
  26.
  27. Which in itself could be an interesting experiment! You could have someone who is at a calculated distance away (equal to the ladder/building height in terms of alleged "curvature") and you both should see the same view of the sunset.
  28.
  29.
  30.
  31. *Anyway - I apologise!*
